Entering Amazing Views Hale is a treat for the senses! Exhilarating 270 degree views of crescent shaped white sand beaches, two famous surf spots, and sunrise to sunset views over the Pacific coastline surround this eclectic two story beach house. Amazing Views Hale is circa 1960's architecture and is situated on the high point of the Crater Rim Road, thus the spectacular view, plus an easy 5 minute walk to Poipu's best beaches.

The kitchen, living and dining areas open to the 2nd floor lanai and feature an incredible panorama of ocean vistas, swaying palms, and a variety of sealife, including Kauai's humpback whales during the winter season.

The master suite has a king bed and opens to the ground floor lanai, lap pool, hot tub, BBQ, and landscaped, private, outdoor shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom with den has a full bed and a queen bed. These two beds share a loft ceiling, are connected to a bath and can be closed off to become a private suite, which also opens to the lap pool and hot tub lanai.

Cooling tropical trade breezes permeate the home through the many windows. When the trade winds are still, whole-house air conditioning will keep you cool and comfortable. Amazing Views Hale is well-stocked with many amenities, including beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and binoculars. This home is meticulously maintained and is furnished in a vintage Hawaiiana theme.

Lovely property

Our family of 8 enjoyed this lovely home with amazing views. It was in the perfect location, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. The kids also thoroughly enjoyed the lap pool and hot tub.

Perfect rental, best we've ever stayed at

Everything about this house was perfect! The pictures don't do it justice. Very clean, spacious, very well stocked with everything you could need (espresso machine, french press, lots of pots and pans, plenty of towels and beach gear). The most beautiful view in all of poipu! Could see rainbows every morning from the Lanai and the most amazing sunsets. The pool is a long salt water lap pool. Location is perfect, easy walk to brennekes or baby beach. Really amazing place, will only be staying here when we return!

Perfect Poipu views and location

The property was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed, and the views and breeze on the upper floor were so refreshing. The sunsets were amazing! The location was convenient to beaches, groceries, and food, and the heritage trail just down the hill was a great way to get some exercise and see turtles along the beach cliffs. The only issue was a hot tub that rarely heated up, which was a bummer. But the small pool was very refreshing in the afternoon heat.

We appreciated all the beach gear that was available to use (boogie boards, chairs, toys, a lot of snorkel gear, stroller), umbrellas, beach mats, towels etc. The kids loved coming home to the outdoor pool and hot tub The adults enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The views were exceptional - could see whales breaching on a daily basis. We loved the open, airy feel to the place. No issues with temperature control. Staff were responsive to any questions. Good location - felt quite central on the island so could swing west or east/north without difficulty. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful

Wonderful vacation home - perfect for our entire family to enjoy (three children - 4, 8, and 13 included in our group) Had an absolute breathtaking view, overlooking the beach. We couldn't have imagined anything more perfect for our vacation. We were lucky enough to have a perfect view of the fireworks on new years eve, so we didn't have to drive in the chaos, just enjoy from the home. Each morning, we would wake up and watch the whales as well from the upstairs lanai - absolutely amazing. Having the lap pool and hot tub each night was perfect since we didnt want to swim in the ocean at night! The short walk to Poipu beach was well worth it each day, at night the green hawaiian turtles would come up to the beach, so be sure to bring or purchase a red light to go check them out - such a cool experience just minutes from the house! We would all highly recommend this house for your getaway!

Beautiful views and spacious home

The views in this home were absolutely spectacular! Walking distance to the beach and panoramic views of the ocean and sunsets. There was ample place for everyone to sleep and hang out and it was a huge plus to have air conditioning. The home could use some maintenance but the views made up for it. Furniture and home are dated but the house was well appointed with shampoo, coffee filters, paper towels, etc. The membership to the athletic club was a huge added bonus. We used it everyday and it was nice to have an extra pool to visit. The pool at the house is small but perfect for late afternoon dip. unfortunately we had some issues with the hot tub, but they were able to fix it by the last day we were there.

Beautiful, literally amazing views

Property was clean, and had a variety of pool and beach items for use. Views are literally amazing and it was nice to enjoy the beach while in air conditioning! Especially when it rained, we could still enjoy the ambiance. Pool was nice - kids had fun swimming and using the hot tub. Even at night the temperature was cool but pleasant. We enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous View in a Wonderful Neighborhood

Our family (5 kids, 2 adults) all fit comfortably in the home. It is a beautiful property that offers great views of the ocean. The pool and hot tub were a hit for the kids. Within walking distance to the beach, it is a great location. We had a great time.

Incredible views

Like I said, the views are incredible at this house. It's a short (hilly) walk to the beach (and Puka Dog!). Clean. The pool and hot tub are great. The outdoor shower definitely came in handy. Property manager was friendly and helpful. Thank you! :)

Gorgeous Sunsets

Plenty of room for our family. Great room wonderful gathering place. Loved the pool and spa. Very close to beach to snorkel and sunbath (lifeguards on duty at this beach). Numerous beach items (towels, chairs, snorkel ++) in 'beach closet's for use. Beautiful sunsets off deck....I would like to recommend that some repair work happen on the launi doors off the dining room. They were hard to open.

It had all the extras like beach gear, towels, binoculars, condiments, even laundry soap!! It was so nice having coffee on the upper deck and watch the sunrise and catch pods of dolphins playing in the ocean!! We used the pool and hot tub everyday we were there. The panoramic windows were stunning in the upper living room and the beds were very comfortable! The athletic club was a bonus as well. My kids loved the slide in the pool and the pool side service was amazing!! We will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely gorgeous vacation spot

The description and photos don’t quite do justice to this place. Taking breakfast on the balcony with a full view of Poipu beach, the mountains, and the Pacific is worth the price alone. We stayed with close friends and all our children (ages 8 - 15) for a week. Great time for everyone. Comfortably slept the whole gang. Beaches and shops are all in walking distance or a few minutes drive. There’s snorkel and boogieboarding equipment to borrow, but I do recommend bringing your own as well. Even the lap pool and hot tub were appreciated, despite the proximity to the ocean. This really is a fantastic home for a couple families to get away!

Fun Vintage Hawaiian Home, Spectacular Views, Needs Proper Upkeep

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found this home to have a quirky and fun layout with amazing views, very clean. Tons of space for family of 4 plus my parents. The pool was a fun perk that was very clean. We ran into issues with a lack of updating/maintenance though, such as mattresses that were either extremely old and worn out or, in the sunken bedroom area, a mattress that was not actually a mattress at all. It was simply a thin, lumpy mat that I would never ask someone to pay to sleep on. Also, most the pots and pans are worn out nonstick that have lost their coating and started to rust. When you rent a house, it's usually for the convenience of extra space and a kitchen to cook meals in. The pans were not something I would expect people to use to cook. The house is listed as having a hot tub, except when we arrived, the cover was in extreme disrepair. The outer fabric was shredded and the styrofoam structure inside was broken into smaller pieces. The cover was no longer creating a seal. There was also a plastic clothes hanger being used to hold a handheld shower attachment in the smallest bathroom. Seemed odd and unprofessional for a vacation home.Lastly there were portions of the parquet flooring in the kitchen and living room that had become unglued and had loose pieces coming out. It exposed the sharp edges of the wood and I ended up cutting the bottom of my foot on it one on of the last days. The most disappointing thing about these issues, was Poipu365's owner's response. Her response was felt dismissive and said the flooring was not unsafe (after I cut the bottom of my foot) and she was "sorry it caused you specifically a problem". She also said the hot tub was perfectly fine to use. If I could attach an image to this review I absolutely would because anyone who saw the state of the cover would not want to get in that hot tub. A simple heads up before we arrived would have gone a long way. The hot tub shouldn't be listed as an amenity until the

Spectacular view!

We loved this house, and really don't want to leave! There's a little upkeep that's fallen behind- some loose pieces of flooring and the hot tub cover is falling apart, but overall we were very happy. The view here is just incredible! They keep binoculars by the lanai and we spotted a pod of dolphins, and many, many whales! The towels, both beach and bath, seemed almost new- very soft and fluffy. The house is very spacious, and we didn't even need all of the beds for the 7 of us. The house is just minutes away from one of our very favorite Kauai beaches, with great snorkeling and boogie boarding. Shopping and good food is just minutes away as well. The dishes and cookware could stand to be updated, but we made do. The house was well stocked with boogie boards, umbrellas, beach chairs, and toys. I highly recommend renting this house! I could happily buy it and live here forever.
