Town: This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.

lovely stay
house is very spacious and clean and just 10 minute walk from the harbour and beach. well equipped and lots of rooms to spread out in .Parking space at the back is only suitable for a small car ( we have a large one) and be aware of the piece of wood on the wall and a large bolt that sticks out. we now have a large gouge on the side of our car. front parking space is much better. the back bedroom double bed has slats - these were broken at some point and have been repaired by a strut in the middle and means that the bed slopes either side and is very uncomfortable. Needs replacing. the thermostatic valve doesnt work in that room either. The timer on the boiler was very hit and miss so we either put it on or off, rather than use it. lots of little bits for children, such as smaller cutlery and games. the enclosed back yard is secure and private. Pool table cues need attention as the tips are worn down and no chalk, the wooden triangles are also too small to hold the balls. so couldnt use it all. Plenty of places to visit and ran out of time to see them all. (Ashley Heath boot fair on Sunday is HUGE, near Wimborne) lovely house and lovely Weymouth
