Vigne Vecchie is an old stone farmhouse, that sits in privacy on a hill top, surrounded by olive groves and woods. It enjoys beautiful views of the rolling hills that leads down to the lake of Bolsena. The house is comfortably furnished for 6 people. The swimming pool is situated on the highest point of the property, where it is possible to enjoy the stunning views of the countryside and of the lake. Ground floor Large living room with an open fireplace & TV leading into a second small sitting room, also with a fireplace, and out to the paved terrace. Dining room. Well equipped kitchen provided with a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, with a pantry leading out under a loggia fitted with a pizza oven and barbecue. A second loggia with a large dining table faces the lake. First floor Double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower. A twin and a double bedroom sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. Grounds Private pool, 9.2 x 4.6m /31 x 14 feet, with a ladder. The Villa is surrounded by 4 ha/10 acres of gardens, cobbled terraces, olive groves and woods. Access unpaved road. The villa and the pool are no shared with any other guests.

Geweldig verblijf

Wij hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in de villa van Paolo! Het huis is zeer volledig uitgerust en is gelegen op een heuvel met geweldig uitzicht op het meer van Bolsena. Kortom: voor herhaling vatbaar!

Haus mit schöner Lage, aber!

Paolo, hat uns freundlich begrüßt. Leider sind im Haus viele feuchte Stellen, so dass es muffig riecht. Es fehlen Moskitonetze, so dass das Lüften schwierig ist. Preis/ Leistung stimmen hier nicht. Im Haus ist Renovierungsstau. Die Lage ist toll, schöner Pool.

Super erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben auf dem wirklich großen, ruhigen, gepflegten und herrlich gelegenen Grundstück wunderbare Tage erlebt. Es war sehr schön am Pool mit Blick auf den Lago di Bolsena zu relaxen. Wir waren vier Erwachsene und ein Teenager und haben uns auf den beiden Terassen, am/im Pool und auch in dem großen Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und komplett ausgestattet. Wifi hat im Haus und auf der Terasse vor dem Haus störungsfrei funktioniert. Nach Bolsena sind es ca. 10 min mit dem Auto. Paolo ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Für erholsamen und ruhigen Urlaub, mit Buch und Weinglas am Pool aber auch als Basis für Ausflüge sehr zu empfehlen!

Wundervoller Urlaub

Sehr schönes Anwesen, wundervolle Lage mit Blick auf den See, ruhig gelegen (man hört nur ab und zu einen Hahn, einen Pfau und ab und zu Hunde bellen) Riesiges Gelände mit sehr schönem Pool. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man so braucht. Die Kinder haben sich über den Tischkicker gefreut. In den Betten haben wir gut geschlafen, keine Probleme damit! Grotte di Castro und Bolsena sind schnell erreichbar für Lebensmittel, Einkaufen, Essen gehen, ... Capodimonte bietet sich an zum Boot ausleihen. Wir hatten eins für einen kompletten Tag bei La Bussola. Zum Baden im See ist es nicht weit (42.64532153697879, 11.897973085251257). Zum Meer haben wir ca. 1 h gebraucht (bei Liquido Kite 42.359223201093414, 11.505323797814803) Schöne Ausflüge sind möglich nach z.B. Montefiascone, Gradoli, Orvieto, Saturnia (Schwefelbad - 42.6483136649996, 11.512672701157232) oder auch Assisi. Zum Essen können wir empfehlen: Trattoria da Giggetto, Pizzeria Tanaquilla, 50 Special Al Castello. Natürlich auch Geschmacksache. Paolo wartete auf uns bei der Ankunft und war immer sehr hilfsbereit bei Fragen oder wenn Probleme aufkamen. Ein sehr schöner Urlaub für uns !!

Grandios

Traumhaft schöne Lage mit Blick auf den wunderbaren Bolsenasee. Unser Hund hat das riesen Anwesen genossen und vor allem das Baden im See. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und sehr geräumig! Vor allem der Salon den wir aber aufgrund des herrlichen Wetters nicht genießen konnten. Einziger Kritikpunkt - allerdings sind wir das auch schon von anderen Häusern gewohnt - ist die Zufahrt. Ansonsten kommen wir gerne wieder.

Une merveilleuse semaine

Le séjour à Grotte du Castro s'est déroulé de manière parfaite, dans une maison très bien équipée, avec une superbe vue sur le lac de Bolsena. La piscine est adaptée aux enfants, la maison est immense et très bien tenue, au milieu d'un jardin magnifique. Une très belle semaine !

Dream vacation in Bolsena

All information and promises were kept. Great house and surroundings. We really enjoyed the vacation. For the access to the property / house one should not have a "lowered" car, as the access road can be very stony and uneven

Rien que pour la vue!

La vue et la tranquillité ! L accès du coup s en fait un peu ressentir... chemin un peu difficile qui monte vers la maison, voiture rabaissée vous oubliez! On arrive au dessus et vue de la piscine juste sublime! La maison est grande, nous n avons pas du tout utilisé le grand salon. 3 belles grandes chambres mais les matelas assez vétustes. Tout ce qu il faut dans la cuisine et baby-foot dans la salle de jeu très sympa. La piscine est grande mais non chauffée donc à certains moments un peu fraîche. Bolsena est sympa et les rives du lac sont vraiment chouettes avec une eau limpide et très agréable. Tres bon séjour pour nous qui voulions repos et tranquillité.

Fantastico

Un posto favoloso dove rilassarsi in assoluta tranquillità. Grande e spaziosa la casa e fantastico il parco giardino che la circonda. Ottima anche la vicinanza al lago di Bolsena. Paolo molto gentile, disponibile e discreto. Grazie e speriamo di tornare.

I bei posti esistono

La villa e i suoi annessi (piscina, prati, 2 bei gazebo e grande giardino) son un posto ideale dove rimettere in sesto il fisico e la mente: se volete una vacanza immersi nella natura con i vostri cari avete trovato il posto giusto!

Heaven of piece

The villa is very big and there s everything you need in there. Very quiet place with an outstanding view on the lake. Paolo is very nice and ready to help at any time.

Relaxing, cool, very comfortable villa.

Wonderful stay. Very spacious villa and secluded. Good location for visiting local interesting towns. Plenty of shade outside and well stocked inside . Loved the view from the pool area and nice grounds with fig and olive trees.

Superb villa with private pool and amazing view

We stayed for 14 days and we really enjoyed the house, the big private garden and the private pool. The house is fully equipped with everything one needs and the rooms and baths are much bigger than is shown on the pictures. The nearby small towns of Grotte di Castro, San Lorenzo and Bolsena is really worth a visit, with many small shops and several restaurants. A drive to the bigger town, Orvieto, was also worth the time. In addition we have highly appreciated morning and evening swims in Lake Bolsena. The house exceeded all our expectations and Paolo (the owner) was waiting for us on our arrival and was helpful during the whole stay - a big thanks for 14 unforgetable days😀 Many regards from Ove Reinhardtsen Norway
