Beautiful Riad but poor host experience

The location provided is listed as Bab Doukkala, but it’s incorrect, making the riad difficult to find. The riad itself is lovely and includes a housekeeper, which is a nice touch. We left a tip for the housekeeper at the end of our stay, but the host later contacted me after checkout, insisting on a larger tip, despite the listing not mentioning any tipping requirement. She even sent an unrelated listing in French to justify her demands. While the riad is beautiful, the host’s stinginess with supplies and this behavior diminished the experience.

Nice villa in a quiet gated community

This is a four bedroom property in a guard gated community about 10 minutes drive from the Medina. It has a courtyard with small plunge pool and the community has a larger swimming pool just steps away. The property is in generally good condition, and there is a lady of the house who come each morning and can make an excellent breakfast if you buy the ingredients. She can also make a dinner that you can heat up later. My only substantial gripe is the hot water heater for the two courtyard bedrooms is much too small for more than two people. Cold showers for the 3rd and 4th people is not fun, but we managed.

holiday in a fantastic riad!

Just back from a wonderful week at this lovely riad. We stayed with 8 adults and there was enough space for everyone. And how we enjoyed: beautifully maintained landscaped park, the small swimming pool in the riad and the large swimming pool, which was directly behind it. But especially from Amal and her sister!! What a pleasure: the most delicious meals were prepared by them. But we were also pampered by them on other fronts, which gave us a very luxurious and real holiday feeling. We found the location perfect, an oasis of calm, about 5 km outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Check-in could be a bit easier. The address was correct, but the number of the riad was not made known to us, which caused a small delay.

Pretty little Riad - hard to access

The property is cute, clean, well maintained, and the helping lady was amazing. We had issues getting to the property. The address on the ad is not the right one. We tried all 3 versions of the address on the Abritel announcement and the check-in message none of them was right. We turned in circles for an hour in the heat of Marrakesh. The owner could have mentioned on the online ad that waze is the only app that can recognize the place instead of putting a random address. The owner could have used GPS coordinates to facilitate the arrival procedure. When the owner finally called it turned out the phone on the check-in message is that of the neighbor and should not be used. And the address is not the right one either. Horrible first day, complicated and exhausting check-in. The rest of the stay was smooth.

Maison fantastique avec une cuisinière excellente

Tout est parfait dans cette maison. L’emplacement , le goût du mobilier , la gentillesse et la disponibilité de la propriétaire et du personnel de la maison. Elle nous a préparé tous les petits déjeuner et 3 dîner délicieux . Merci encore on reviendra volontiers .

Très beau Riad , nécessité d'être véhiculé

Le riad est très beau , l'hygiène irréprochables, Amal et Nazeha sont adorables. On a loué des voitures chez sixt , il faut quand même être à l'aise avec la conduite au Maroc ( les routes sont dangereuses , aucunes règles de circulation, nous connaissions déjà cela mais pour les personnes non averties ça peut être très compliqué). Au vu de l'emplacement du riad , on est obligé de sortir très régulièrement en voiture faire des courses ( rien d'assez prêt à pied) et pour accéder aux zones fréquentés le taxi est conseillé car le stationnement est très compliqué voir impossible, du coup c'est pas forcément de tout repos en terme de logistique. Pour les activités qui nécessitent une prise en charge par l'organisateur ils viennent vous chercher au riad assez facilement. la résidence est sécurisé et très propre, les gardiens sont adorables et réactifs.

Merveilleux

Nous avons passé un séjour juste parfait. La résidence est très propre et calme. Le Riad est magnifique avec une piscine intérieure autour de laquelle nous avons passé d’excellents moments. Le must : Amal et Latifa qui sont des femmes extraordinaires. Elles ont pris soin de nous avec beaucoup de générosité. Un grand merci à elles.

Très beau Riad dans la Palmeraie

Excellent séjour : cadre magnifique dans la palmeraie, calme et bien entretenu quotidiennement par les jardiniers. Quant au Riad, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Seul bémol : composé de 4 chambres avec uniquement des lits doubles (pas de lits simples). Dommage ! Point très très positifs : la qualité des services. Amel et Latifa sont aux petits soins : tous les plats préparés sont excellents. Deux personnes très attachantes toujours souriantes et aimables à l’image de l’hospitalité marocaine. Petite amélioration à envisager : manque d’éclairage dans les salles d’eau.

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Tout était parfait. La location est très belle et le cadre est un petit paradis. Et que dire de la gentillesse d'Amal et sa sœur qui sont de vrais cordons bleus. Elles ont ravi nos papilles pendant tout le séjour. Véritable havre de paix

Ayant déjà séjourné dans ce riad il y a quelques années, c'est avec bonheur que nous y sommes retournés en couple et avec nos amis. Lieu privilégié par son calme, son charme, son confort et SURTOUT.... les bons plats cuisinés chaleureusement par Amal et sa sœur Latifa ! Ce fut un régal et une découverte gustative pour certains de nos amis. ! Ces deux belles personnes ont toujours été efficaces et avec le sourire ! Un grand merci pour tout cela !

Très belle expérience.

Le riad est situé dans une petite copropriété de 30 villas ce qui permet de bénéficier du calme tout en étant à 15 minutes de la Place. La procédure d'arrivée était parfaite et Hassania nous avait préparé le repas. En 10 minutes ont est en vacances. Les chambres sont spacieuses, décorées sobrement et les lits sont confortables. Nous sommes régalés des plats cuisinés et de l'humour et de la gentillesse d'Hassania. Superbe piscine dans la résidence, très beau jardin, un havre de paix. Merci également à Marie Pierre pour les échanges. Info: pour la wifi il faut acheter une carte sur place 20€ illimité et il vaut mieux prendre les petits taxis en leurs demandant de mettre le compteur.

Merveilleux

Merveilleux souvenirs de notre séjour en famille pour le nouvel an, le riad est très agréable après une bonne journée à sillonner les rues de Marrakech. La localisation est idéale. Sans oublier Rachida, excellente maîtresse de maison et cuisinière. Crêpes, jus d’orange, gâteaux, couscous, frites et tajines en tout genre .... adultes comme enfants nous nous sommes régalés ! Pour une découverte de Marrakech, le riad a contribué fortement au succès de notre séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Merci encore.

Vacances parfaites !!

Nous avons passé un super séjour . Super maison , très spacieuse ( nous étions 5 ) avec tout ce qu il faut comme équipement ( noter qu il faut payer le wifi en plus pour se connecter et nous sommes assez consommateurs avec des ados 😊) . Que dire de Rachida ?! Elle rend le lieu juste fabuleux !!! D’abord par son extrême gentillesse puis par ses talents de cuisinière . Nous nous sommes régalé toute la semaine entre ses plats et ses gâteaux . De la vraie cuisine marocaine au top !!! Penser à prévoir la contribution pour ses services ( perso je l avais vu sur les commentaires ) . Bref , nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ...

Juste magnifique

C'était un séjour au calme et très reposant, Rachida était très adorable et très sympathique... Elle était aussi au top de ses prestations, les plats étaient succulents et et les enfants se sont régalés avec ses gâteaux à l'orange.... Tout s'est très bien passé et nous conseillons vivement aux familles ce petit Havre de paix.

Notre semaine a été gâchée le dernier jour lorsque Rachida nous a réclamé son salaire sur le pas de la porte. Pas qu'il soit indu ou trop onéreux, cependant nous n'avions plus de liquide et prêt à partir pour l’aéroport. Total nous avons du aller au distributeur, revenir, partir au pas de course. Total nous avons du débourser 900 euros pour reprendre des billets car nous sommes arrivés 10 mn après l'heure de fermeture de l'enregistrement. Autant dire que mes vacances ont été lourdement assombries.

Nous avons pu passer un agréable séjour en famille à Marrakech dans votre Riad très fonctionnel et bien entretenu. La piscine est très agréable aussi. Les petits enfants se sont régalés. Et Rachida , une perle, excellente cuisinière avec ses bons petits plats, très disponible et a gâté les enfants avec ses gâteaux. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir, car très bonne situation et bon rapport qualité prix Famille EL HARRADI
