About this property

(A207) Loft Condominiums

On the main level you have a living room, with a fully equipped kitchenette, that has a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dish-ware, cookware, and silverware provided. Our loft units also offer dvd player, with a free videotape library, river rock propane fireplaces, and private outdoor decks with electric barbeques. Sleeps 2-4. Please be advised: sofa beds are only acceptable for small children, not for adults, as they are uncomfortable for adults, so we will not guarantee a good night's rest on them.

Located high on top of a mountain at an elevation of 6,000 feet, this 48 unit condominium complex not only offers you great mountain and forest views, but also offers you a great location to start your day from, just minutes to all the main attractions! Our condominiums come in two configurations, studios and lofts. All units come completely furnished and fully equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, cable isn't available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite based Internet system, and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

Spartan living extremely cheap owners

Very tiny cabins, no coffee, just one bed with not even a side table to keep stuff, kids slept on `100 year old sofa bed, half broken and literally sank in the mattress, hot water available but upstairs shower no space to keep even a soap, had to hold it in my hand. Not worth the money they charged for off peak season rip off. Photos are MISLEADING. avoid 207. owner seems to be extremely cheap, left a note pleas leave your leftover food for housekeeping

Loft apartment in the woods

This is a great place to slow down and relax while being close to Yosemite Valley. The apartment is clean and large enough for two adults. Although the bathrooms are a bit dated they are fine…..the one of the lower floor much larger so we used that one. The bbq on the balcony was a bonus and we used that. Also coin laundry was good. It’s not flash but it really is fine for a few days.

Great Location

This is one of the best locations because it puts you pretty close to the middle of things. It is a stone’s throw away from the turnoff to Glacier Point and between the valley and Wawona. It has everything you need which is why I gave it 5 stars, but the furnishings are a little dated. Our family enjoyed our stay. You can hear other people, but we like hearing people enjoying each other, so it didn’t bother us . Do all of your shopping before you enter the park, so you don’t have to go out. I would rent again.

Family trip to Yosemite

Based on reviews and pics, I expected place to be smaller than it was. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space! Quite warm in the middle of August but not unexpected. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved that is was so close to the Yosemite Valley!!

The condo still needed some improvements even though it had been renovated. New flooring would have gone a long way.

Great location

Only a 25 min drive into the Valley or Glacier Point but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The newly renovated unit had everything we needed for our stay.

Why I would not stay here again

The easiest thing for me to do is write the pros and cons of staying in this rental. Pros-- 1. Location 2. Everything worked. 3. We saw a coyote from the balcony the first night. Cons 1. The mattress was lumpy and horrible. Pillow were like logs. 2. The lighting was.....awful. I don't know how they photographed this unit but the pictures show a light and airy space and it was anything but. 3. Renters are asked to help the environment by not asking for fresh towels everyday. I'm fine with that. But it would help me if I was given a few hooks to hang towels on. Not one in either of the two bathrooms. In the upstairs room there was absolutely no place to hang a towel so it could dry. In the lower bathroom I needed to hang it over the shower rod. But there was not enough room for all the towels. 4. Lower bathroom--no rubber mat to keep from slipping when showering. No handle to grab onto. This is basic stuff! 5. Upper bathroom may have been remodeled recently but there is no shelf to put shampoo and soap. Everything needs to go on the shower floor and the stall is small, bending over to retrieve stuff is not easy. Ever hear of a shower caddy? $20 and your guest are more comfortable. 6. Stove looked 60 years old. Worked OK but paint chipping off by the knobs and all the burners were lined with tin foil. I have stayed in many condos and apartments and this was disheartening. 7. Management has a nice binder with good information about the condo complex and the area. For wifi access, they state that the best signal is in the media room in Building B (we were in A). So I went looking for the media room, walking all over building B. Nothing. I was embarrassed but asked husband to find it. He came back and said that he could not find the media room, but did meet other guests looking for it. So I called the management, who said 'it's locked, but we could send someone over to let you in'. Not a bad response. But--why haven't they updated their binder with this information, instead of sending everyone on a fools errand? Why don't they have a simple sign on the media room saying 'call management for access'? It would take so little effort to correct the information in the binder and let people feel taken care of. These are lots of little details. But, they added up, leaving me convinced that I could find a much nicer place to stay next visit.

The right amount of rustic

The place was the perfect, quaint place for 2 people on a Yosemite trip. Staying inside of the park was the real benefit I can't stress enough how much of a perk this was for us. After 12 hours of hiking driving the 25 minutes to our place so we could just fall into bed was amazing. It is a small space but we did actually cook pasta in the kitchen one night and we managed. For sure worth it to be close to the Valley.

Great Condo with Great Location

We'll likely book again next year. There was a glitch with our key code when we first arrived, but assistance was quick and easy. The condo was perfect for two adults and two little boys on spring break.

Noisy

The condo itself is very clean, in great condition, comfortable, in an amazing location & has a great view. Reserving was a breeze and we received a phone call the day we arrived; management was checking in to ask if we needed anything. Nice touch. The biggest problem - which is no fault of the owner - is the noise level. You can hear neighboring conversation through the walls, children running up and down the halls, partying, etc. Quiet hours are not strictly enforced and we were up every night (three nights) until 1:30 am, hoping neighbors would go to sleep. I even knocked on a neighbors and asked them to quiet down. Overall, I would highly recommend the condo because if it's proximity to everything in the park. However, if you're a light sleeper, take the noise level into consideration.

Cozy winter retreat

We stayed in the condo over the MLK weekend. The location is great, within ~30 minutes drive of Badger Pass and Yosemite Valley (in winter conditions). The condo was clean and well-maintained and the bed was comfortable. Additionally the check-in/out process was easy and convenient. I would recommend this property to a friend.

Cozy comfy condo near Yosemite Valley

We loved the condo! This is a corner unit upstairs. Very cutely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils & pots. Bed was very comfortable. We had a small issue with the fireplace the first night and called the on-site maintenance who was over in 10 minutes and fixed the issue right away. The condo is 20 minutes from Yosemite Valley with lots of sites on the drive over and <5min from Glacier road. We loved our stay here and would love to come back!
