Stayed Over New Years 2025

Overall this was a great experience. Everything was smooth and as described in the listing. Location in Canmore is great. Can walk to shopping and some restaurants and a short drive to overpriced grocery stores. You are 20mins to Downtown Banff, 30 mins to skiing at Sunshine Village and an hour from Lake Louise. Other than wishing for firmer pillows and a little less Road noise in the morning, The only real downfall was we had to leave.

Great spacious apartment

We had originally wanted to stay in banff but no suitable accommodation was available. Canmore was therefore a second choice. However, once we arrived we realised what a lovely town Canmore is - similar to banff but much quieter . The apartment is in the town centre anf so its literally a minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Underground parking also a bonus. Kitchen is well equipped and large bathroom and bedrooms. We stayed during hot weather so the balcony was great to eat out on.

Perfect location! Highly recommend!

Condo was in a great location! We enjoyed the nearby trails, shops and restaurants. It was so nice to have underground parking and be able to get to so many places. Good spot for our other excursions too! Home was clean and had all we needed.

Perfect place to stay. Close to downtown, and within 1 block of canmore main roam bus stop. Underground parking is great and nstional park pass a plus. Would definatly use again.

Canmore Town Center

Perfect location for exploring Banff and Lake Louise. We stayed 11 nights and found the property convenient, clean and having underground parking was a huge plus.

The cleaning was perfect 70% clean. A glass cup broke in the dishwasher and had to be disposed of. There was a lot of equipment around the TV and the wiring seemed too complicated. The park pass was very effective. Thank you very much.

Cozy suite downtown Canmore

Hosts made it super easy to book, find the building and answer questions. We had one hitch initially getting in (the lock wasnt working). Called the Host and they sent someone down immediately! I really appreciated how responsive they were. Home has everything you need including a fire place. great location.

Did Not Disappoint

Travelled with my husband and mother, in late October, check in went smoothly. Rental located on 2nd flloor, corner view, overlooking a street that could be very busy during peak season. It was quiet for us. Underground parking allowed us to leave vehicle in the garage and explore the town by foot. Brief conversation with owners that tended to our additional needs. Enjoyed the home-away-from-home experience. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future as long as Owners would have us back. Recommend this rental for people of all ages. Elevator makes it accessible to all. Had all the amenities we needed to make our stay very enjoyable.

EXCELLENT Property AND location!

I cannot say enough about our experience at this condo in Canmore. This property was absolutely perfect. The location simply could not have been better, it was furnished with absolutely EVERYTHING we needed and more, it was exceptionally clean and the owner/manager was immediately available to answer our questions promptly and thoroughly. Should we have the opportunity to return to Banff, this place in particular is definitely where we will stay.

Lovely Condo - easy walk to shop and dine in Canmore

We enjoyed this condo and it was a great home base to visit the Banff, Kootenay, Jasper areas. Condo was nicely furnished and well stocked with all you need and more! We appreciated having the park pass included making our exploration that much easier. Please note that the parking garage (which is a great amenity) has a low clearance and very tight parking spaces - just something to be aware of depending on what size vehicle you are driving.

A week in canmore.

This condo is in great location downtown. Very convenient for all amenities. The condo is very comfortable and clean, the owner was accessible for any questions. Overall a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Retirement Vacation

This was the perfect homebase for our week traveling around Banff, Yoho and the Ice Fields parkway, golfing and shopping. We’d definitely stay there again!!

Nice Condo - a few things to consider

We were super excited to stay here, and for the most part the stay was good. However, prior to check in, I had tried to get in touch with the host via the Vrbo platform, text, and I got no response until I finally called. I just wanted to know what the check in would be like...and the information was sent minutes prior to the 4pm check in line. It would have been nice to know that the city of Canmore has free parking or to give us a few tips like that to make the first day easy. We finally checked in and there was no soap anywhere...the first thing you want to do is wash your hands after a long trip, but the dispensers were empty both in the shower and the sink. So off we went to the drugstore to buy soap. We took off our shoes as we walked in and within seconds our white socks were filthy. There was a solid film of dust on the side tables as well...not sure when the unit was actually deep cleaned. There was also no central AC in the condo. Not an issue most days, but with the smoke it was tough to keep the door open and for some with respiratory issues this is a problem. There was an AC unit that we kept by the bed that was running all night (it was like sleeping next to a truck). And had I been alone I wouldn't even know how to put it in the window (yes, self serve). Finally, we reached out asking where we could find the pods for the dishwasher, and we never heard back from the host. By this time, we gave up completely and were just ready to head home. Overall, it was ok because we just slept and showered in the condo, but I don't think that I would stay again.

This property was great: clean, in a good location, comfortable. Communication with owners was via phone number rather than VRBO messaging service. Check-in details made available only at the time of check-in, after requesting information directly. Clarifying the timing of this in advance would have been helpful.

Xmas bubble

We could have no company over Xmas but this unit was everything we expected, in a great location. Fully equipped for the COVID imposed self catering requirements - no complaints at all.

From hiking, mountain biking and canoeing in the summer to skiing, snowshoeing and staying toasty warm by the fireplace in the winter, we love spending time in the beautiful and friendly town of Canmore!

Why they chose this property

Located one block off of Main Street and within blocks of dozens of coffee shops, restaurants and more, this second-floor condo boasts one of the best locations in Canmore, away from the hustle and bustle of town and Canmore's commercial district, yet within easy walking and driving distance. It's nice, after a day of skiing or hiking up in the mountains, to be able to park the car in the heated underground stall and walk anywhere we need. It's also nice to be within quick walking distance of the nearby Bow River and the easy paths that run along it (if we're looking for a more laid-back day!).
