We were a group of 17 which the house accommodated comfortably. It's an old rustic homestead which was clean & comfortable but it's showing it's age.
The pool table was great for the teenagers especially as it rained, the walks around the paddocks were lovely with many horses we could meet & pat.
Don't expect luxury at this homestead but it's comfortable.
Our adult family group had a wonderful stay at Euroka Homestead. It was a brilliant venie for our group of 8; we were awestruck by the scenery, loved local walks and enjoted the wood fire and local winery.
We stayed between mates for a weekend in May and had so much fun at Euroka. The location is great with direct access to 6 foot track (the best section of it!) and great hike/rides options.
The homestead is well looked after, clean and had everything you need. Definitely recommended for a big group!
The property has everything you need for a weekend away with friends or a large family. Communication with the property owner was very easy. Would definitely stay again
We thoroughly enjoyed our rustic countryside stay. Kids loved the fireplace making s’mores and the friendly horses around the property. The view of the escarpments was very picturesque especially at sunset. I suggest placing locks in the toilets, installing more lights in the kitchen and bbq area and some cue stick tips need to be replaced. The tennis area can also be improved. Other than that, we all had a lovely holiday.
We loved the Homestead and our big group stayed in both the cottage and the homestead. The walk or drive between the two is straight forward. The Homestead is stocked with all the equipment you need for big groups. The lounge room spaces are excellent and warm with the fires. The view and property and proximity to the Six Foot Track made it a great place to explore. Also quick drive or even walk to a couple of local wineries. Thanks for having us!

Thank you.
Our group had a Fantastic time staying, thank you. Beautiful views!
My family of 20 (aged 5-75yrs) returned for our second Christmas break at Euroka Homestead in 2022, our first being in 2018. We love it! Euroka is an old farm homestead and I’m sure the walls could tell some stories., and given its age there will always be something requiring maintenance,; and yet it is perfectly situated for a large family gathering. You can certainly enjoy the serenity! Always clean, and improvements were noted. Let me say again, we loved it!
It is a beautiful location to get away from the city for a weekend. The large house was perfect for accomodating our group of 16 adults, with large living space and plenty of areas to explore around
We came as big group for a getaway. The house is quite spacious with a big living area and a nice fireplace that kept us very warm. We had over 18 people (so used the cottage as well), but even when everyone was gathered at the homestead, it didn't feel cramped. The location is also incredible and makes you feel like you've truely left the city.
A few comments mentioned that the house is quite old and this is probably felt most in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Definitely usable, but expect rustic.
One improvement would be a slightly better stocked kitchen. We didn't have things like tea towels, kitchen wipes etc. This made clean up pretty hard, especially when catering for a big group. If there were a few more basic goods, this would have made things easier.
One other thing would be the lighting. The smaller lounge room and kitchen both had very dim or limited lighting. An extra light would have made the space more usable at night.
Overall, definitely a good place to stay especially with a large group. The scenery is amazing, the house is spacious and it makes for a relaxed time away. And the horses were also really friendly.
The property is admist the beautiful Megalong valley with serene environment. Its a property that adults and kids will enjoy equally. This is our third time visiting this properry and look foward to visiting this property again. The property enough beds to sleep our big group comfortabally. Kitchen and oven to cook your own food. Kids have books and board games to keep them engaged or just watch the horses grazing around.
Indeed a property not to be missed and just an hr and half from sydeny so a perfect weekend getaway!
The property fit our group of 16 comfortably. Erin and Chris were very helpful prior to and during our stay. Pool cues need to be retipped.

Need a lot of improvement for the price they charge
The guest house had only 2 toilets for the entire group of 18, but one of the toilet were out of order and not been informed.
One of the single bed not assembled or fitted properly and my mate hurt his back by sitting only. but decided not to claim.
Rubbish bins were full when we entered, had to leave our rubbish inside the kitchen area.
We had a wonderful time and on the first full day walked over to the local winery and took in the spectacular views
Warm house once we got the fires and heaters going

Beautiful location but needs some work
The location of this property is absolutely beautiful with many walking tracks in close proximity. The sunsets were amazing and the kids loved strolling around and visiting the horses and kangaroos.
We encountered a couple of issues with the electrics which may be a result of the current mice plague that rural NSW is experiencing. The dishwasher and oven did not work properly however our communication with the owner and house manager was promptly responded to.
The house is in desperate need of some renovation work with evident water damage to ceilings, broken windows boarded up with pieces of wood and a generally outdated feel.

Beautiful location, run down property
Couldn’t be in a more beautiful location. The house has a lot of character but needs a serious amount of work to bring it up to an appropriate standard to justify the rental cost. The bedrooms are ok but the kitchen and bathrooms are in very poor condition and need upgrading to meet contemporary standards. The electrical system is suspect with safety switches tripping and lighting in the main lounge area faulty.
Great place to unwind with your friends . There's lots of space. Pool table was great entertainment with my friends
We had the best time at this place. Thank you

Could have been cleaner plus could have provided sufficient toilet rolls
Our group of 5 families (9 adults and 4 children (6-15 years old)) enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend. Communication with the host was simple and fast. She allowed us early checkin and late checkout. Plenty of space inside the home and outdoors including the tennis court and patting and feeding the nearby horses. The kitchen was well equiped for cooking for our large group. Beds were comfy. Plenty of hot water for showering. The two indoor fires kept the house nice and warm. The pool table brought hours of laughs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to others and return ourselves.
