We had 3 nights stay in May. A combination of the fan and heatpump made the house cozy, and we cooked in 2 nights, the kitchen utensils were basic but sufficient. A very comfortable bed and good communication from the owners. Well recommended.

Second stay
The property is well situated and is a cosy place to stay.
The space was very comfortable, kangaroos and birds nearby. Property does need some maintenance, disappointing that bbq was not cleaned as a large deck area was available. Awesome walks nearby.
Perfect retreat: Comfortable Stay with stunning wildlife and design.
Had an incredible stay! The accommodation was not only comfortable but also beautifully designed, with thoughtful architecture that made the space feel welcoming and relaxing. It was equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to settle in. The surrounding wildlife was abundant and added an extra touch of magic to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat, close to the centre of Halls Gap.
The house is beautiful, has everything you need to feel secluded and peaceful but only a 20 minute walk from the town. There’s no wifi but you’ve got enough service if you do need it. Comfy, clean and homey. There’s also a fully gated deck and some dog beds if you’re bringing your dog, ours loved it!
Cameron was an incredible host. The house is situated perfectly for a walk into town and is very secure for our big dog. It had everything we needed more. Thanks again!
It was still a little tense whether we would be able to travel to Janaza at all, as severe bushfires had been raging in the Grampians since 26 December. Cameron always kept us well informed of the current situation the moment Halls Gap became accessible to tourists again,The house is in a beautiful setting with great views of the mountains with the Pinnacle Lookout from the porch. The house is stylishly furnished. The ground floor is a bit dark due to the lack of natural light, but this is compensated by the cute lit alcoves with pretty decorations. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and direct access to a large deck. It is a bit tarnished by the ravages of time here and there, and some areas need some attention. But it is a great place to stay, use the BBQ and enjoy nature. The kangaroos and cockatoos were well represented and the latter are cheeky enough to come and beg for food on the balustrade. The house may not have been laid out very logically (in our eyes ), but that also directly determines the charm of this beautiful and cosy house.
We loved our 3 night stay with our 2 x old dogs who loved the massive deck that is fenced. The view are amazing and so peaceful. Loved the walks into town from here and the nature. Thank you again and hopefully the fires stay away from you all.
Modern home with large, open loft bedroom, kangaroos and emus outside. OZ birds, big deck.15 min walk to town shops and eateries. Mountain lookout drives or walks. Normal free TV channels worked well. Relaxing.
Lovely position. Kangaroos- and a deer. Walking distance to town. Easy access to the walks and perfect weather to boot! Our dog loved it- he is sad to be home!
Just the property i was looking for, had everything i needed. So peaceful.Easy to find, close to the heart of town and central to many hikes in the grampians. Great communication with the host.
Fantastic stay and fantastic time. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away

Underwhelming property
Booked this property because we wanted a quiet location away from the road to get a good nights sleep. Unfortunately, we endured no such quiet time as there is a tree that physically touches the property and the canopy of the tree touches the metal roof and you are then subject to what sounds like an amateur drummer practicing in the bedroom. Alarmingly, the owners knew about this and made excuses that it was due to the recent winds. You don’t need to be a tree surgeon to work out that a tree touching a property will move and make crashing noises when paying guests are present. More alarmingly, the owners would rather customers be their quality control and advise that the remedial work they did 2 week prior to arrival was not sufficient for our quiet enjoyment. They would rather dither and perhaps decide to get a specialist to look at a tree and perhaps do the work so paying customers can have a good night sleep and not be too knackered to enjoy their time in Halls Gap!
Furthermore, never have we stayed in a property with so many lights that is so dark such as the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is tiny, 1.5 sqm of worktop, crockery is mainly chipped.
Described as “Boutique” which conveys a luxury property. It isn’t. It is tired, not unclean but it so well used that the condition of the property is so very poor and our experience was not in anyway pleasurable. Don’t get sucked in by the “style over substance” of this poorly presented and managed “boutique” property!
Janazza was a perfect little house for our Grampians short break. Very clean and tidy… short walk into town and so good we could bring our dog to enjoy the holiday with us. The huge deck was lovely to have a glass of wine and listen to all the beautiful birds. So relaxing.
Really lovely spot, it was just wonderful natural garden with lots of wildlife, walking my dog around the property, when not out exploring the area. House was very cosy, lovely inside, bed was comfy. Thankyou Cameron & Yvette
comfy
The location was great, nestled in a beautiful setting and close to town!
The accommodation was good value for money in Halls Gap. The downstairs area doesn’t have a lot of natural light, so it felt quite dark. It could do with a bit of a freshen up paint wise to brighten the place up.
The reverse cycle took a while to kick in and heat the place up and it made this really annoying high pitched noise when running.
The bed wasn’t overly comfortable and bed linen felt quite worn. One of the bedside lamps didn’t have a bulb in it so couldn’t be used.
Again good value for what we paid but just want others to be aware of what to expect.
We had a fantastic stay , and the offering was excellent.
Modern, comfortable and a great location within the trees
Will recommend to family and friends
This is our 2nd stay & we highly recommend.
Great location. An easy walk in to town, or to trails & pet friendly, so we can bring our beautiful dogs.
Super easy check in & fuss free stay
