The cottage was wonderful and the fire in the main room was amazing as it was a cold night. The host was very quick to communicate with us as we were running a little behind in our schedule. An amazing quiet, comfortable place to stay
Nannas house is like stepping back in time!
Every comfort you could possibly want.
Full credit to the host Susan who had everything in the way of basic essentials ready to go on arrival. Fully recommend this accomodation.
Our second stay here and was just as comfortable and convenient, especially when travelling with dogs. No fencing but it’s a quiet town and the dogs were good.
Basic food supplies provided although the bread was not fresh and the milk was two days past the use by date. This didn’t spoil our experience though.
The property was very comfortable and has a large lounge room which was not in the pictures. Also a good outdoor living area. Our hire car broke down and the host was amazing in helping us (4 people) get a lift to Adelaide. Thank-you.
We spent the long weekend at Nana's and had a wonderfule stay. It was a great base to explore the local area, and we enjoyed day trips to Hawker and over to Melrose to hike Mt Remarkable. Orroroo is a lovely community and we enjoyed meeting locals at the pub and while buying up on lots of meat for our delicious weber cooked dinners.
The entire experience was easy with no issues at all. Susan made this a pleasure.

Lovely, comfortable stay
A beautiful old homestead. Lovely to be able to light the fire and keep warm, with lots of wood on hand. Highly recommend

Great holiday accommodation
We stayed in Nana's Home for three days with my relatives who were visiting from the UK. We were all mighty comfy in our beds, the showers were lovely and hot, and the nights were so quiet. Only a short walk into town to the Commercial Hotel. Food here was average, but didn't get to try the other pub a bit further on.

The cottage is gorgeous as well as being very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The Manager was very friendly and helpful. The fire in the lounge ready to go, was a lovely added touch. And because I travel with my dogs, it's good to find charming places where dogs are welcomed inside.

We had high expectations from what we saw on the web site and were elated with the place. After a 12 hour journey it was wonderful to find the fire going and the house all warmed up for us. It is not common to find a really comfortable bed in this sort of accomodation but the beds were fantastic and comfortable. We would reccomend this place and business to anyone and already planning when we can go back

We spent one night at Nana's as a stopover on a long trip home. The house was ideal for that purpose. An old house with some history, well looked after. The floorboards were very creaky (with the dog walking on them) which made my husband get out of bed early when he spooked himself with the idea Nana might still be there!
