Sunny Daze - Basic but tidy kiwi bach handily located in Mangawhai Head's golden circle

Please note for New Years bookings you must ENQUIRE first before booking as we have different requirements for this period.
This basic but tidy kiwi bach is located in the heart of Mangawhai Head's golden circle. With the shops, cafes and estuary within a few minutes walk it is a great base for your holiday. The Mangawhai Activity Zone and golf course are also within walking distance and the surf beach and markets are only a 5 minute drive away.
The large sunny, flat section has plenty of room for the kids to run around and kids can bike around the relatively quiet streets. Plenty of parking spaces for your cars and boat and its only a few minutes to the boat ramp. There is also now a Heat Pump in the living room to keep things warm on cooler days.
Great for families or mature couples. The perfect place to relax and enjoy Magical Mangawhai!
NB: An outside dog may be permitted on enquiry. This property does not have Wi-Fi
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.

Another wonderful stay
This is our third stay here. An excellent location, very roomy. No bells and whistles, just a good basic, solid kiwi bach that provides all you need. We love this place and is our first option whenever we come back to Mangawhai (which is often). Thank you!

We had a fabulous time in Mangawhai. The bach was lovely and clean and suited our family perfectly. The proximity to the boat ramp, jetty and shops was excellent. A lovely holiday away.

Your basic good ole kiwi bach stay. Tons of space, excellent location and has everything you need. We have stayed at multiple baches in Mangawhai but this is our favourite. Don’t expect bells and whistles, it’s basic but that’s all you need! Comfortable, warm, spacious, 1min walk to shops and 3min walk to the beach. We love this place and enjoy being repeat customers.

Fantastic Stay
Our family have stayed at multiple baches in Mangawhai but this has been one of our favourites! Perfect location to the shops and the estuary, the bach is simple but perfect for what we needed. The two upstairs rooms are huge and warm, lots of space abd the beds are very comfortable. The bach had everything we need, great outdoor space, a swing for the kids, just a great kiwi bach. We hope to stay at this beach again on our future trips!

Lovely Bach in nice location
The bach is basic but very tidy and nice. The bathroom had been done recently and had a really good shower which we appreciated. Really liked the location as a 2 minute walk to the shops and also to the estuary. But very quiet at the same time. Easy quick drive to the surf beach as well. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great spot to stay. Very close to cafes Restaurants and 4 Square store. Short drive to beaches and markets. Great stroll to estuary. No internet and TV/Freeview needed fixing but other than that great spot and enjoyed our stay. Great host and friendly communication.

Basic but comfortable and very well located bach.
We had a great time in this perfectly located bach! It has everything you need except for Wifi (only needed on rainy days I guess). Enough beds and mattresses to accommodate 10-12 people, a very good supply of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, etc. Some of the furniture is old but comfy. Great backyard for the kids to play and a nice deck. Will definitely come back!

Comfortable bach
The bach location is excellent. Walking distance to shops and eateries. Short drive to the beach. The bach itself is basic, has everything you need, and a nice little deck to have a bbq. The yard is big enough for kids to run around. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom has recently been upgraded, and has good water pressure.

Perfect for what we needed
Used as a base for other activities. Upstairs bedrooms massive. Facilities good with new bathroom. Didn't really used the kitchen but looked like a new oven and plenty of utensils etc. Couldn't get the tv to work but again didn't really try too hard to get it going. Definately would stay again.

Great stay!
We stayed in this property for almost a week in late February. This true bach is simple but well set up, with plenty of dishes, glasses and everything else you might need. Great location with the shops around the corner and a short walk to the estuary. Found the beds we used were comfy too. Had a fun and relaxing stay, so thanks!

Lovely family holiday with great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, convenient for our needs, close to the estuary and wood street shops. One of the single beds upstairs was a little unstable so we put the mattress on the floor, but otherwise good basic accommodation. Upstairs was very warm would be good to have a fan for night time sleeping.
