About this property

Pet friendly Eleanor the Beach Cottage

Eleanor is our beach house that is wonderful for old fashioned holidays. It is configured so that a second family could stay on the ground floor. There is a whale watching and star gazing roof terrace. Warrain beach is a 2 minute walk, and both Culburra Beach and Lake Woolomboola a 5 minutes walk.

There are two queen beds and 4 single beds and a day bed. Comfy couches and arm chairs, and out door settings on all 3 levels. Linen and towels extra $25 per bed includes making , unmaking and washing.

Modern facilities including smart tv, wifi and broadband, espresso machine, two bathrooms, modern dishwasher, oven, gas cook top, heating and hot water. It is well equipped for cooking, entertaining and holiday activities.

The garden is fully grassed for cricket, soccer and other summer sports. It is fully fenced and good for pets and children.

Culburra is a quiet and sleepy village that, thankfully, time has nearly forgotten.

Local activities include surfing, snorkelling, fishing, windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, golf, swimming, bush walking and cooking the wonderful local seafood and farm produce.

We have a travel cot: use according to instruction, under adult supervision, and entirely at your own risk . Please clean after use. See Photo.

We no longer have Netflix, trampoline, active beehive or dvd player. You can connect the tv using your own streaming services details.

Culburra getaway

Great place to stay... Lots of walks close by surf and lake. Very comfy. Great cafe just down the road. The place had lots of inclusions and the roof top observation deck was a bonus.

Only issue we had with the property was no air conditioning and on the hot days the property was hot even with the windows open and only one small fan. I would suggest a few more fan or put in some air conditioning

Relaxed with a cool retro vibe

Very comfortable stay- some interesting gallery type pieces and we loved the ocean soundtrack and glimpse of the water! It took a minute to find the kettle and microwave… Many thanks Michael for sharing your groovy digs! (We brought some dvds but couldn’t find a player)

Beach holiday

This was a great property to stay at, the house catered well to our needs and it was an enjoyable stay. My family really enjoyed it at this property and location and all want to go back! Unique accommodation and great proximity to beach.

Great vibe and location

This house was perfect for our short stay. Close access to different beaches and ocean glimpses. It’s got a nice beach holiday atmosphere and a good layout. We would recommend this place, though the lounge furniture and some of the mattresses have seen better days.

Awesome stay

Winter get away did not disappoint. Grandparents and parents thoroughly loved the place and little 3 year old boy was beside himself with the beach, roof access and the swing!

Lovely beach house

We really loved the house. It is furnished in an eclectic and interesting manner. Short walk to beach. We also visited other beaches in the area like Callala and Currarong. The mattress was a bit hard for us but that is personal taste. We would come again.

Lovely seaside house

We enjoyed our stay at Eleanor, it was clean & very comfortable. The kitchen was very good and made it easy to make our meals in. The view from the balcony and sea breeze were a welcome relief from the hot weather.

Great for Families

This is a great house for a family, including fur baby, and we loved our stay here. We loved the loungeroom and balcony with views of the sea, plus the retro feel of the house. Plus the tv room downstairs for the kids was great so we could relax upstairs with our books. The kitchen is well set up and two bathrooms was a bonus. We highly recommend this holiday house and can’t wait until we can stay again.
