Yokoso is a spacious, light-filled studio situated in a private native garden on one of Sawtell's premier streets. The architect-designed, freestanding studio appeals to those who enjoy a no-clutter, no-fuss lifestyle with easy access to surf and sand.
A 5 minute walk will take you to Sawtell's beautiful beach, while the tree-lined main street of Sawtell Village, with a choice of restaurants, bars, cafes and boutiques is only a short 10 minute stroll.
Yokoso's open plan living extends out to patios front and back, making the most of winter sun and cooling summer sea breezes. The large upstairs loft bedroom looks out over Sawtell to the sea. Upstairs there is also a generous walk-in robe and a quiet work station. A well-equipped small kitchen and outdoor barbecue invite cooking that can be gourmet grand or supremely simple.
Sawtell is the perfect holiday destination offering activities for all: bushwalking in the Bongil Bongil National Park, cycling, surfing, snorkelling or just floating downstream at Boambee Creek, a spot popular with the locals for safe swimming and barbecue picnics. Day trips to the historic hinterland towns of Bellingen and Dorrigo delight with spectacular scenery en route. It's all on your doorstep.

OMG - We lucked out here!

Such a stylish property. So thoughtfully designed and immaculately presented. In a great location, just a short stroll to the beach, and so close to possibly the best cafe in the area.

Quality and style

Incredibly well-maintained and beautifully detailed cottage. A little machine for living in - play with the passive ventilation of the unit. Immacuate kitchen and beautiful linen. Easy walk to beach and town centre with many great dining options. We'll definitely go again! Thanks Michelle!!!

A relaxing retreat

We had the most wonderful stay at this beachside split-level studio! Despite the torrential rain during our visit, we were perfectly content indoors thanks to the spacious yet cozy atmosphere. The studio was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. We especially loved the high ceilings, books, games, and DVDs that kept us entertained. The beach was just a short walk away, which would have been amazing on a sunnier day, but we had no trouble relaxing inside. Michelle, the host, was fantastic—she was always available if we needed anything, but also respected our privacy. A truly lovely retreat that I’d highly recommend!

Stunning and cosey

This property was well maintained, clean and cosey. It has more then enough room, is private and the host is just a stones throw away. Checki in was a breeze and you could contact the host if need be and nothing was to much. Iwe will return here without question.

Weekend away

Michele's place was perfect for our stay over the long weekend. It was very spacious and comfortable for my wife and I. It's in a great location, just a couple minutes walk from the beach and Sawtell shops. Michele was a great host, her communication was extremely prompt and she was very accommodating. Highly recommended and would happily stay at again.

Sawtell Sojourn

Yokoso is a private, beautiful coastal studio for 2 fully equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable coastal stay. It's central location is walking distance to the beach & town centre & is only a short drive to supermarkets. It's proximity to Coffs Harbour, Bellingen & Urunga make it a perfect spot from which to base oneself. Michele & Steve are wonderful hosts who are friendly, accommodating & have a wealth of local knowledge. We totally loved our stay in Sawtell.

Perfect stay

Yokoso was the perfect place to stay for a short work break. Perfect proximity to beautiful beaches & cafes & the cute Sawtell village with Coffs central & Toormina shops a short drive away. Close to airport too. The property was spotless & I loved the minimal architectural style. I scoured the internet looking for a place to stay that wasn’t the typical beach shack ‘tacky’ style and I was thoroughly rewarded by Yokoso & Michelle’s hospitality.

Absolutely perfect

As soon as we arrived at Yokoso we were impressed. Tucked away in a quiet street, surrounded by beautiful gardens and private off street parking. Inside was amazing, beautifully designed, clean, spacious and bright and Michele has thought of everything you need for a stay here whether it be overnight or longer. The bedroom is in the beautiful bright and airy loft which has a view of the ocean, there are a couple of peaceful outdoor areas to sit and have a coffee and watch the local bird life close up, and it is a quick 5 min walk to the beach or 10 min walk to town. The check in/ out process was easy and Michele checked in with us a couple of times via phone call and text to see if everything was ok and also to recommend some local eating places which we appreciated. Thank you Michele, your place is absolutely beautiful, would definitely recommend and we will be sure to stay here again when we visit Sawtell.

Perfect place in a perfect place!

A wonderful, spacious, airy and spotless studio. Everything you could need is there, superb comfy bed, parking space, honestly, you could not ask for more. Also, 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 to the town. Perfectly situated. Sawtell is just adorable. Michele and Stephen are the perfect hosts, too. We will be back!

This is a ‘must visit’ location

So close to the main centre of town and the clean beautiful beach. Our hosts were great and the accomodation a truly amazing studio, spacious and welcoming. Highly recommend it and credit to our hosts for creating the perfect venue to enjoy.

Excellent property

This property was fantastic. It was clean, had everything you could want and was in a fantastic location. Very close to RSL, pub, coffee shops and cafes. Short drive to Coffs Harbour (10 mins).
