Loved the property. Was in a great location, 30 second walk to beach and short walk to great restaurants, Main Street of Glenelg. Excellent views of the beach from living room and main bedroom. Thanks for having us.
The property is clean and neat even though it’s a bit old. It’s in a good location with the view of the ocean from the living and main bedroom. However the second bedroom downstairs is a bit dark and not much ventilation.
The bathroom on the ground floor is a bit old, and the second one upstairs is very narrow. The bathroom doors can’t be closed properly and hopefully this will get fixed.
Overall, it’s okay to stay with family for a few days.
Cannot fault the location
Place was great except for a couple of things. To make it even better
would have loved to be able to open the windows (. They were all locked) as place did get stuffy after the warm weather and place started to smell after a while
And a dryer would be a perfect addition so when we washed out towels we could get them dried quickly so we could use them again
And no
Pegs were provided to hang clothes out
Small things could make our stay go from great to excellent
But overall we moved our stay
We rented this property for a week, were very pleased with the upstairs, modern, clean and magnificent views. However, the downstairs bathroom was dingy and old-fashioned, needs updating.
We were surprised also to find the property did not have WiFi, we presumed that all holiday rentals would have this nowadays. This is our fault for not checking and we only mention this in case other renters want WiFi.
Ideal get away on the edge of the Glenelg Hub, 15 minute stroll along the Esplanade to Marina Bay restaurants .. 10 minutes drive to Harbour Town …. 15 mins from airport. Commanding panoramic views from the upstairs living area.
Had a great stay- extremely clean and comfortable. Jo was very helpful when we needed supplies and help. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. NOTE: there is no wifi which meant we had to buy a devise from Office Works.
Great location right across the road from the ocean perfect for our summer break. Daily dips at the beach to cool down. Walking distance to the Marina and Glenelg Jetty. Our teens loved that they were downstairs away from us parents, and the downstairs bathroom was great after returning for a swim. Feedback for us would be for some reason channel 9 wasn't working so we did miss the "Ash Barty Finals Party" the kids would definitely say Wifi would have topped it off! but we did manage to the enjoy the view and have some family game time. Sunsets were stunning. Quick communication with Jo and appreciate a later check-out when we had a last minute delay. Looking forward to coming back and exploring more parts of SA
A simple and satisfying stay, comfortable clean and a great position

Harassment at its peak
I stayed a week in this property and even though the owner had a garage they failed to provide it. Which resulted in damage of my rental car and I had to pay my rental extra on top of insurance.
After I returned home, money was automatically taken from my account without my permission. After investigating I was told it was cleaning or incidentals. Whereas we cleaned the house and left it spotless. It seems like the property owner is trying to scam money off of us.
The owner hasn't even acknowledged the fact that my rental car was damaged while my stay at their property and instead of a refund as goodwill they've managed to take an unauthorised payment. VRBO was no help either
I would have rather stayed at a 5-star hotel instead of trying to help an Australian family during a pandemic atleast I wouldn't have been harassed like this and money wouldn't have been scammed off of me.
There was nothing indicating the property was under the flight path of landing aircraft into Adelaide airport starting from 6am until late evening. With COVID there was some reduced air traffic so the activity would be constant once full flights return. This of course was only an issue early morning and at night as we were out most days sight seeing. The location was otherwise excellent close to the food and entertainment area of Glenelg which we found very good and views from the lounge room straight out to the Bay. In terms of the property itself we thought it was in need of some renovating. New carpeting is required throughout due to wear and a number torn areas were apparent. The lounge room would benefit from a new lounge as the current one has worn areas where the vinyl is showing wear and tear. The down stairs bedroom contains two single beds obviously setup for children it did not lend itself to being totally suitable for two adults perhaps king single beds would be a better option for size and length and based on the people booking the site an option to join these beds for couples. The mattress on one of these beds has very bad springs which could be felt when lying down and their shape/outline was visible through the thin mattress covering but not protruding through. As upstairs the carpet needs replacing. The bathroom though old was functional it would benefit from a vanity basin with storage as there is no storage at this time except for the small window ledge. Also proper hand and bath towel holders would be beneficial rather than the cheap single screw in hook near the light switch. Also down stairs is noticeably colder we were there in May as there is no heating or cooling and needs some thought. If these things could be done it would make a big difference to the property as the photos don't quite show the real condition. Finally we did enjoy our stay.
Nice property with a lovely water view. The property was very comfortable but needs new flooring. Also, as much as I liked the property could not get used to the jets flying overhead every morning. On the plus side..I didn't need an alarm clock as the jets did a great job at 6am every morning...lol
