About this property

The view in Goult, Gordes at 9km, private pool & garden !

Our property is located in the heart and in the top of the village of Goult, only a few minutes by foot to access to all shops (grocery, butchery, bakery, restaurants, post office, hairdresser…). It has an amazing panoramic view on Luberon from the terrace, garden, swimming and houses. It has a private swimming pool (L 7m50, l 2m50, h 1m30), two pool decks (3 and 12 m²), a private garden (150 m²). It is divided in 2 independent houses non dividing: La Luberon and La Gourbillière. Each of them has an independent entrance in Jeu de Paume Street for La Luberon and La Gourbillière path for La Gourbillière. There is also an independent entrance in the garden. The two houses have been recently entirely renovated.
La Luberon, the main house:
It has still several elements from the past that we have preciously kept (French roof, tiles, flagstone, stone etc.) and modern renovated elements.
On the ground floor, the kitchen is fully equipped with washing and drying machines, dish washer, SMEG hoven, micro wave, SMEG fridge, cooker, coffee machine, Electrolux induction tables, a kitchen table for 6 to 8 people, one living room, an entrance with desk.
On the first floor, there are:
• A master bedroom (25 m²) (2 beds 90cm x 200cm joined or not as you want) with a panoramic view on Luberon mountain and another one on the mill of Goult, a private entrance and a full equipped bathroom (WC, private bathtub, 2 sinks and a big shower 120cm x 100cm), a cot.
• A midsize bedroom (15 m²) with 2 beds 90cm x 200cm joined or not as you want
• A small size bedroom (6m²) 2 beds 90cm x 200cm joined or not as you want
• The midsize and small size bedrooms share a small bathroom (shower 100cm x 80 cm) and a sink
• An additional WC is located between the ground floor and the 1st floor
The kitchen has an entrance on a 25m² terrace that overhang the small 150 m² garden and offers an exceptional view on the Luberon Mountain. Stones stairs allow from the terrace to access to the garden and to the swimming pool. In the cave, chairs, mattresses, sunshade, bbq pour are available.

La Gourbillière:
It has a private entrance from La Gourbillière path. You can as a consequence enter and leave the property in all discretion. This second part of the property has been voluntary renovated in a minimal and modern style. Plaster on the walls, concrete on the roofs and on the floors. The house is not adapted to « shabby style » adepts.
At the ground floor, there is an opened and full kitchen (fridge and oven SMEG, Siemens induction table, kitchen hood, micro wave, washing and drying machine, dish washer, cooker, coffee machine etc.). The kitchen table is for 6 to 8 people. The living room is still in progress, an old bed should be the sofa and there are a couple of armchairs.
The first and the second floor are pretty similar as they have both a bedroom with separate living room, independent bathroom and independent WC.
At 1st floor:
• A bedroom (2 beds 90cm x 200cm joined or not as you want) with a panoramic view on Luberon mountain, a private entrance in the garden, a private bathtub
• A bedroom or a living room with a sofa bed
• An independent bathroom with a shower 100 cm x 120cm
• An independent WC
At 2nd floor :
• A bedroom (2 beds 90cm x 200cm joined or not as you want).
• A bedroom for children (in average the high is 1 meter) or a living room
• An independent bathroom with a shower 100 cm x 120cm
• An independent WC
In total, the property can host 12 people and a baby. For your own privacy, we recommend a same family per floor at La Gourbillière and another one for the small size and midsize bedroom at La Luberon as the bathroom will be shared.
We are baby friendly and provide all necessary equipment (cot, high chair, changing table, bathtube, baby potty, robot, plastic dishes, toys..) Please do not leave your children alone close to the swimming pool even if an alarm is provided.
Pets are not allowed. Our property is non-smoker, you can smoke at the terrace or in the garden.
The property is fully connected to wifi.
A free parking is available at 50 meters from the property close to the mill. There is also a place for a car in front of the suite entrance of La Luberon.
Goult:
Goult is known only by few but the village is better appreciate than Gordes especially in summer where few tourists know about it....keep the secret and come in our beautiful and authentic house. There is the Maurel grocery where you can buy a lot of things only 3 min by walk, the excellent buscher Francis and her wife, a hair dresser, a movie theater, the famous bar “Le Café de La Poste” with an authentic atmosphere thanks to the kindness of the owners Bernard and Marie France, few restaurants: la Terrasse, les Fines Herbes et la Bartavelle recommended by Guide Michelin, pizza and fish on Thursday morning. All these restaurants and shops are close to our property (5 minutes by walk maximum). If you have any questions, there is a tourism office “La Maison du Village” in the center of the village.
Tennis courts are at Lumières (1.5 km)
Luberon area:
We recommend you to visit Gordes, Roussillon, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste villages.
To explore further, Cassis is 1h by car, Nice, Cannes, St Tropez, is at 2h by car etc.
How to come?
By train 2h30 from Paris to TGV Avignon train station then 40 minutes by car or TGV Aix en Provence train station is 1h by car.
By plane Marseille airport is 1h15 by car.
Bookings are per week from Saturday to Saturday.
We hope that you will have a wonderful time and will make sure you will feel at home or better!!!!
It is the house of our 10 years dream and search. Enjoy and take care of it!

Nous y retournerons sans hésiter For our first time in Provence we couldn't have chosen a better place than this one. Nothing was to be missed except maybe time enough for us to stay longer. The view as well as the charm of the house are never to be forgotten. Placed at a strategic point, juste near by many hilltops villages, all of which absolutely unique. The house is next to a windmill, part of the history of the village. The propriety has its own infinity pool much appreciated during summer, and a terrace from which the view facing the Luberon is particularly restful. With all modern conveniences we feel at home very easily. Haven of peace it's the ideal place for those who like walking and discovering natural sites but it will definitely suits as well those who seek for peace and calm. The welcoming village will take you all the way back to Middle age with its castle testimony of history. The owner will know how to advice you on all the "places to be" and will be there for you in case you ever need it. To sum it up, the house, the village and its area have made us perfectly happy. We will definitely go back!
