About this property
Nestled snugly into the foothills of the French Hautes-Pyrenees.
It is the opportunity to rent an eco-house and experience the luxury of this soft pastoral landscape. At approximately 950m above sea level, the views from around the Ranch are quite breathtaking, encompassing both high mountains, forest and the rolling hills.
The Spiritual History of this valley tells us that hundreds of years have been 'fought hard' over-here, thousands of deaths to regret. Here people fought for the unique & powerful Water (extremely medicinal & healing).
During the period of Louis XIV, there was a convoy of ponies who were continually transporting reservoirs to Versailles with this exceptionally medicinal water. The holy source was then 'protected' by the legions of the King.
This place has been visited by many Healers of the Earth. Their intuitive ingenuity brought them to this unique valley where they could find the "marvelous water" ... Unfortunately, many of them found their death here. A sensitive person most likely felt the presence of 'the Spirit' of hundreds of druids & witches. Indeed, crazy place over-here, but I like that strong energy! Anyway, from mid August to mid October we enjoy observing deers; The male deer roars to keep his harem of females together. He also use the roar call when competing with other males for females during the rut, and along with other forms of posturing and antler fights, is a method used by the males to establish dominance. Roaring is most common during the early dawn and late evening, which is also when the crepuscular deer are most active in general... it all happens here, at Farm de Rachac!
The accommodation includes 4 bedrooms dispersed in two houses, each have a personal- living-room, and personal kitchen with all the basic self-catering facilities, two bathrooms & 3 toilets ... And access to a perfect view over 1000 hectares of woodland, wildflower meadows and a stream in the bottom of the valley. Spectacular sunsets, stunning views, and randonnées offered free of charge!
Workshops of Permaculture and Horsemanship (on request and availability) are an option. For other activities like Rafting, Survival training, Paragliding, and much more; we will be happy to put you in touch with our friends who have that knowledge.
In order to plan your stay as best as possible, please notify us about your wishes before your arrival. See you soon!
Don't forget : Drink, the all-day-on; pure spring water from our own sources from B2b.
