Whether you're riding the snow or mountain bike tracks, horses or golf carts, Riders Rest offers modern, comfortable living spaces to provide the backdrop to the day’s activities. Whilst you enjoy the afterglow, the kids can play outside on the flat section complete with Spring Free trampoline.

Great place
Thanks so much for a great 3 night stay. Three did the Motatpu and it was great to relax and enjoy the deck and sun and also the large lounge. We will be back next year. Had fun playing table tennis and appreciated the salt and pepper and other things you need to buy. Clean and very comfortable. Many thanks.

A home away from home
This was our perfect home base for our trip to Wanaka. The location, layout, facilities and amenities were all perfect for our family of 5. Ken's communication was brilliant and even provided handy recommendations for our stay. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Great place for a week in Wanaka
Great location and outlook over the mountains, with sunshine streaming through the windows in the afternoons creating a restful and beautiful stay. Loved the heated floors and garage to store the ski gear.

A home away from home. A modern house with modern fittings and furniture. Generous room spaces, with all facilities provided. Kitchen well equipped and pantry stocked with staple items to make cooking very easy if you choose to do so.bathrooms great, and beds comfortable. Highly recommended. Would book again if returning to Wānaka.

Fabulous R & R Stay
Holidayed with our grandchildren and their parents. Lovely clean modern house with a well equipped kitchen, pantry basics. Great Mountain Views and the kids loved the trampoline and table tennis! Easy trip to town or the bike tracks and swimming areas. The host was very helpful and kept in touch. Highly recommend this place.

Really happy with this property. Nice location with lovely views of the mountains. The house was exactly as shown on its listing. Plenty of room for everyone with a particularly large lounge/kitchen/dining area. Had everything we needed.

Great stay with a stunning view
We enjoyed our stay in this house. We came for ski holidays and the place had everything we needed. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. It is clean, tidy and very warm. The underfloor heating in bathrooms was a great bonus. We particularly enjoyed a big garage with ski racks, laundry and easy access to the house. Kitchen is well equipped, there are plenty of dishes, mugs and glasses. Highly recommend! The only minor thing I would add are warm but light throws for the living room. It would be nice to wrap up with a cuppa after day in the snow. Thank you Ken for having us!
