Noisy

While this cabin had an ok location close to the base of Snow Summit, because of that, the sleeping part of our stay was noisy with traffic. The snow plows and cars began around 4:00am. The windows were thin and noise level was loud. Parking was also taken up by mountain visitors who didn’t honor the tenant parking. The TV was smart TV only, so we were unable to watch any football bowl games and there wasn’t an option to add an app to access our own direct tv or other options. Netflix was our only option. The bunk bed mattress was so extremely uncomfortable that my teenage boy, who can sleep anywhere, had a hard time sleeping and eventually moved to the couch. The second night he used the roll away mattress. Also, property management would not let us stay parked in one of our two supposedly available parking spaces until we left the mountain at 2:00 on our check out day, although check-in for the next guest wasn’t until 4:00. On the positive side, check in was easy and the jacuzzi and fireplace were nice to have. it was an easy walk to 7-11 for grocery items and to a rental shop for needed helmets. communication with property management was easy through texting. We will choose a different location next time.

Nice Location

We rented this unit for two nights while skiing at Snow Summit. The unit was clean and right down the street from the mountain. You could walk 0.4 miles uphill or take shuttle stop 2 that was pretty much across the street. The shuttle is hit or miss depending on how busy it is. Overall, the property was a great place to stay. The unit was clean and had renovated kitchen and bathrooms. There was a nice TV and good wifi, but no cable or local TV service. Make sure you have a device and HDMI cable to connect to the TV if you want to watch anything or you can log into Netflix and a couple other services on the smart TV. It was the NFL playoffs when we stayed so if I didn't remember to bring my HDMI cable, then we would have needed to go somewhere over a very busy weekend to watch the games. Other notes - we didn't use the hot tub because it was right outside the window of both neighbors. The place is also just for rentals. There isn't a whole lot of furniture, mainly in the bedrooms. It would have been nice to have a dresser or a table to be able to put a few things on. The bedrooms only had the beds and very small night stands.

Great Cabin / Location

Down the street from Snow summit, 5 minute drive to Bear Mountain, walking distance to 7-11, and easy parking in front of cabin. Pretty modern and up to date cabin, everything was great would definitely rent again.
