This was our second year renting this house and it was another fantastic stay. Location is perfect to down town Frisco and centralized to all the ski resorts. First place we've stayed we haven't had to buy anything for the kitchen. We cooked every morning and most evenings. BEAUTIFUL views and you feel like you away from it all even though you are just a short drive to pretty much anything you want to do!
We stayed here with friends and our adult children. The house has 360 views of the lake and the mountains. There wasn’t a bad view from anywhere. We took advantage of skiing all of Summit County. The house was a perfect location.
The house is beautiful and very spacious. We were two families with adult kids and there were 12 of us total. Everyone loved the games on the lower level. We also loved the kitchen table which fit us perfectly. The views were extraordinary and it is a short walk to Main Street. We also really appreciated the gorgeous Christmas tree. We had a lovely holiday week.
Our family of 10 adults and 3 kids (1,5 and 7) were extremely happy with accomodations including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces and recreation areas. Hot tub was very nice, kitchen was fully equipped, clean and spacious for our large group. Only 10 minute walk or two minute drive to downtown Frisco that had good nice restaurants, bars and shops. Would definitely stay here again.
Our group was a family of 12 people from grandkids to grandparents.
Wonderful house with great amenities, we loved it. Very comfortable for a large group.
The house is amazing and has everything you could want.
Location is very special as it is a 10 minute walk to downtown Frisco, but the location is private with all the trees, making it feel remote.
Highly recommend!!
We were a large group and not one person found anything to complain about. House was fantastic and in a great location close to everything. It was the best stocked kitchen of any house we have ever stayed at! Beautiful views. Extras everywhere. You won't regret staying here! First house where everyone wants to return! Looking into booking for next year.
My family traditionally stays in Summit County every other year. My grand kids have grown up knowing this as an simi-annual holiday vacation and count the months, weeks and days until we leave. We had a wonderful time staying in Paula's beautiful home. She was fabulous in all communication, she quickly responded to all questions. We hope we treated her home with love as our own! We will definitely go back if available!. Connie
Perfect location, amazing views and every amenity! This home is wonderfully designed to make the most of every space. We came together here with our large families and made some great memories. The host was exceptionally responsive and helpful. We would love to come back some day!
Our family just returned from a wonderful vacation in Frisco. This beautiful and well appointed home was central to our enjoyment of our trip. We spanned from ages 1 to 71. The adults loved having king size beds and the plentiful bathrooms as well as the proximity to town. The children loved the yard as well as all of the toys provided and having a park with a wonderful playscape so close by. It was also very nice to have things like laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, basic toiletries, and basic kitchen provisions such as spices provided. Our host could not have been more responsive to our questions and needs. We hope to stay at this very special home again in the near future.
Our extended family stayed at the Modern Mountain Masterpiece for a week at the end of June. Our stay was terrific. The house is beautiful, spacious and well-appointed. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong table. Some of us enjoyed bike rides around Lake Dillon.
If you plan on cooking much, be careful how many groceries you purchase at a time as the refrigerator is rather small for such a large house.
We would most definitely stay here again. Beds are comfortable, everything is clean and there’s ample room for everyone to spread out. Our group consisted of 8 adults and 8 children ages 3-11.
Great house for family gatherings. Beautiful views, multiple living areas and plenty of beds and bathrooms. Convenient location for day trips and town amenities. Owners were very responsive. Impeccable design, comfort and function.
Very comfortable home, exceptional amenities. We also saw a moose, fox, birds, etc. in the yard. Location central to other fun communities, much good food nearby, easy to get around. Readily would return.
House was immaculate and very comfortably fit our family of 19. Proximity to main street Frisco, Breckinridge, Silverthorne and Copper Mountain was perfect. Our family enjoyed the River below the house and the neighborhood. I highly recommend this home for your family vacation.
It’s getting harder and harder to find a house in Breckenridge to fit a large group, so we decided to check out Frisco instead. This home was perfect for our three families and the location was so convenient, with quick access to shopping, restaurants, downtown Frisco, and 3 ski resorts within 20 minutes.
The house itself was on a large private lot, nestled in the trees, with amazing views of the mountains through the floor to ceiling windows.
We only had one issue with our stay… the hot tub was heated, but the jets and lights were inoperable and the automatic cover was malfunctioning. After texting the owners, they went out of their way (literally drove two hours) to help resolve the issues for us.
Our whole group joked that we were never leaving, but we will definitely keep this home on our short list for our next ski trip.
This house was perfect for our Spring Break getaway. We easily fit 6 adults and 6 teens and had plenty of room to spread out. The floor to ceiling windows were my favorite part of the house. Paula was also very quick to answer any questions that we had. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
This is a great house! Welcoming entry, parking for multiple cars, lots of light, great views, well supplied kitchen with lots of dishes, pots and pans and spices. Near the highway, but very quiet. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The deck was spacious and the fire pit was a nice bonus. The hut tub lid had challenges; the property owner was contacted and personally came to try and fix it.
Some TV remotes did not work because of dead batteries. Some lamps had burned out bulbs. The door knob in the bathroom in bedroom # 2 upstairs came off. Needs to be tightened. Better job vacuuming under furniture. Overall a great time. Our family has made this yearly trip for over twenty years, and this property was by far the best!
We had an incredible time. The house is beautiful, spacious (10 adults, 2 kids), and feels remote while being walking distance into town and ~10 minute drive to Copper (~15ish to Breckenridge town and ~25 mins to A-Basin). Couldn’t recommend enough, one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed, a perfect ski house. Host was responsive throughout, and the house came stocked with all the essentials and then some (spices, cooking ware, paper towels, shampoo/body wash, toilet paper, games etc). Like the house guide states, it takes time to cool the house down when it gets hot (no A/C), but opening a window or door did the trick. We traveled with small kids and it was very convenient to have the pack and play, high chair, children’s toys, and baby bath.
We stayed here for New Years and the following week. It was a great stay. House was great and was stocked better than any place we have ever stayed. Paula was great and was very prompt in getting with us when needed. Great time had by all and we are a very large family. Will stay again when we are in Colorado.
This home is FABULOUS! Everything you could possibly image is at this home. Gorgeous views from every window, modern & clean, two levels so family can spread out, games, books, portable crib, infant walker, fully stocked kitchen and much more. We LOVE this Frisco treasure! We are planning our third visit this winter. Only disappointment we did not see a moose!
The perfect location to hold our family reunion to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The hot tub was a preferred hangout space as well as the views from the deck. Very peaceful. Our whole family enjoyed our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Paula Woodward
We are a outdoor loving family of 5. We built this for our family to enjoy large gatherings together! We love skiing, biking, and being outdoors! This is a dream come true for us and we are excited to share it with a select group of renters.
Why they chose this property
This is special lot in the first subdivision in Summit County. We purchased this home in very poor condition -- kept some of the foundation -- but rebuilt the entire house and added the garage and atrium entry during an extensive remodel. We love the central location and being able to walk to town and connect to the bike trail right out the door!
What makes this property unique
The VIEWS in EVERY direction and the creek bordering the 2.5 acre property are what sold us on this property. We designed the house for use as our second home and for the luxury rental market. After renting to skiers for a decade at our first ski home, we know what you want and expect for a quality rental experience.
