Family accommodation

Despite advising Stays we had 2 couples we checked in and one of the rooms was set as 2 x single, this was quickly fixed by staff. Overall the apartment was fine for our needs, however it definitely needs a fresh coat of paint and new carpet. It was the perfect location to go out and eat, coffee in the mornings - access to the beach a big plus

Recent stay

The location was great…. The apartment was shabby..needs to be updated..chipped paint on furniture…bed side tables etc.. Kitchen dishes from previous tenants, were still in the dishwasher, not put away..dishwasher had not cleaned them properly. The dust and dirt under the beds in the bedrooms..felt unclean..especially in Covid times..cushions on sofa stained and unpleasant… The lift situation in the building is appalling..lift kept stopping..and felt very unsafe…always scared it would stop between floors, which they did..girl at the desk, said just call Schindler if you get stuck..she was not surprised as other people were complaining too.. Very unnerving… The views etc are lovely but the rest of the building is in need of total refurb..

Lovely location but poorly maintained property

This is a terrific spot in Coogee with great views of the beach and excellent restaurants and cafes at your doorstep. We were disappointed however at the run down standard of the property. I felt we paid a premium price for an apartment that really needs a full refurbishment. It was on the surface clean and tidy but stained carpet, scratched and marked paintwork, broken grout and mould, bulging tiles ready to fall off, broken or malfunctioning fixtures and fittings detract greatly. The managers got onto some issues immediately to repair once they were informed, which was pleasing, but it’s still a tired and well worn, badly maintained apartment
