The location and size of unit was perfect for our stay. Well stocked kitchen and good size lounge / dining area. A couple of minor maintenance (bathroom and carpets needed improved cleaning) and comfort items (fans or air con for the upper level as it was really hot and lack of windows made it hard to cool the area down) would make it 5 star rating

Annual snow trip
We had a wonderful stay but the property is in need of a little tlc. The gas heater, dryer, vacuum, tv remote, oven exhaust were all faulty and the property needs some general maintenance and top up of cutlery, cups etc.. for this property to be where it needs to be.
Property was in an excellent location for our bike ride event starting in Jindabyne. It was also a very short walking distance to Jindabyne brewery serving fantastic food and brews. The garage had plenty of space for our bikes and the beds were comfortable. The three separate rooms suited our group well. Kitchen was very well stocked with glassware, crockery etc.
The only negative points were:
no courtesy kit with shampoo etc on arrival
Cleaning could’ve been better (cob webs in corners)
TV only had analogue channels, but we were not there to watch TV
Clean and tidy. Ample heating during our cool autumn stay. Sufficient amenities including three toilets. Split level with three flights of stairs joining four levels. Fixed windows in bunk room. Appreciated undercover internal access garage in wet weather.
Very handy location. We were in Jindabyne for MTB riding at Thredbo and appreciated the garage with remote to service the bikes at night and washing machine. While unit met our needs, sometimes it's the small things that just make it that bit better. Eg pod coffee machine, cling wrap. A few little things that could be fixed like the noisy exhaust fan in the ensuite, hole in the main bedroom mattress, fitted bottom sheet is preferred and power point on wall of garage to charge ebikes rather than having to use the powerboard hanging from the roof. Thankfully extension cord supplied though. These things are minor and wouldn't stop us staying here again.
Great value, great garage, good open plan living, good sized bedrooms. With a couple of minor tweaks this could be a really good property. Needs plates that fit the dishwasher, new pots and pans, ceiling fans and a window that opens in the top bedroom and boom this place is back on track.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
2 problems
The blinds in dining room were wrecked and we had to tie them up out of the way.
Disappointed that the website promised Lake views which we did not have. Kitchen was good though
We booked a 3 Bedrooms 23/1 - 26/1 for 6 persons. The house is definitely not suitable for rental during summer time. During our stay the temperature is around 30 degree. There is no air conditioner and with not sufficient electrical fans. (Only 2 fans). Just imagine the conditions where the room temperature at top floor is likely up to 40 degree. In particular windows in that room with two bunk beds can’t be open and there is no ventilation inside that room. No person can stay inside that room as temperature remains over 30 degree celsius during the night. We have no choice but slept in the sitting room with my husband. It is a bad holiday experience for us. We could return to the house until 8 pm because This holiday house is really hot inside.

Good location. Nice and warm. Basic. Needs a lot of maintenance.
Good location. Nice and warm with heaters in all the rooms. Under floor heating in bathrooms was nice.
Not well maintained. A lot of things to be fixed.
Couch is saggy and needs to be replaced. I’m a small person and it swallowed me.
Broken lower shelf in the fridge. Everything fell out.
Broken rangehood. Can’t close it or turn it off.
Dirty plates. Dirty cutlery. Old disgusting trays. We washed everything we used before we could use it. Kept out what we’d washed so we knew it was clean. Chipped glasses.
Blinds broken. Can’t open the ones in the living area.
Didn’t leave us a sponge to wipe down benches.
2 beds no quilt cover (bottom bunk and master). Yellow quilt. Pet hate. As during the night the sheets move and you end up touching the quilt that others have touched. Just using a quilt cover would solve this.
Pilled old pillows. Made for the master bed. I swapped pillows. Things like this should be thrown away.
Terrible phone reception. Should consider getting wifi.
Great property. Located not too far away from the shopping centres and the lake. The heated floor in the bathroom was the main topic during our stay. The Owner was very responsive and accomodating. Might need to replace the vacuum cleaner filter. Thank you.
The property was great for our trip to the snow. We had 8 people staying with us and there was plenty of space to accommodate us all. the property is well located with easy access to the snow and short walk into town.
The heater was broken when we arrived but was replaced with a better one when we requested additional heating which was appreciated.
Would recommend when travelling to Jindabyne.
A great place to come home to after a big day of skiing. Comfortable and homely.
