Near the beautiful beach and attractions, perfect for family reunion
The house is about 200 feet from a quiet and private section of Old Orchard Beach (Grand/Pine Point). You can walk or bike to everything in the area including; Palace Playland Amusement Park and Arcade, Pirates Cove Mini Golf, the Old Orchard Beach Pier, restaurants, or stores. We are close to everything, but in a quieter residential area, away from the motels. A Drive In Theatre, 2 excellent Water Parks, Driving Range and Golf courses are within 3-5 miles. There is Outlet Shopping to the South in Kittery and North in Freeport. We have beautiful sight seeing routes to view rocky ocean vistas and Lighthouses South of our house in Biddeford Pool (Wood Island Light) and North in Cape Elizabeth (Two Lights State Park and the Portland HeadLight). The Old Port area of Portland is a great area to visit and possibly catch a ferry to the Casco Bay Islands. There is so much to do and not enough time to do it! Or you can lie down on the softest white powder beach you've ever seen.

The house and good and clean. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. I wish it had AC and maybe newer living room furniture but overall good place to rent.
Fantastic stay with our 4 granddaughters. Access to the beach across the street. Very quiet section of the beach, easy to find plenty of room and set up. The house was much more spacious than we have had in previous years, large kitchen, good size bedrooms and large living room. Had a great time and are booked for next year already.
Our family loved the location and size of the house. It was quiet at night, and the end of the beach it was on was very clean and not packed with people. If you are traveling to enjoy the ocean this is a great place to be.
Marijuana and pipes ect in kitchen cabinet with left over cookies from previous tenant
Back burner caught on fire on stove day 1 Toaster caught on fire day 2.
Screen ripped off kitchen door.
Bathtub doors would not slide stuck inplace
Water in the cellar
Unable to use grill due to grease and filth
Left after day 3 contacted owner he could cared less! Stated it was up to the tenants to clean the house!
In hindsite I should have called the Fire Department for the 2 items that sparked and went on fire.
I will not use VRBO ever again

Both outdoor yard and family room in basement totally unusable. Wet and moldy in basement and mosquito ridden outside frim morning til night
Overall the property is nice. Location is great a short walk to beach which is a nice part of the beach very quite area. The yard is big but during my stay we could not enjoy it because of tons of mosquitoes. I heard that Aug. is a better time to stay the mosquitoes are not there. Needs bigger trash barrels and more lights in basement. My kids loved the basement nice and clean. Ping pong table is a nice one. Some windows could not open. Lots of parking that was the best thing.
The property was just a short distance to the beach which was convenient. The house could use some updates Like newer windows. We had a hard time opening and shutting them. The rooms were spacious for Our stay. The few problems we did have management took care of it right away.
The house is a bit old, and outdated, but great location. Be careful when using the power outlets. Windows are old and hard to open, just be careful. The screens are not in the best shape, so check them before opening the windows, and the side door.
Please be kind and clean the dishes well! Also, clean the grill after you are done with it. If everyone does their part with bare minimum cleaning, the people who come after can enjoy their time as well!!!
Be careful driving onto the lawn toward the right of the driveway. There is a metal rod sticking out of the ground. Could puncture a tire. We tripped over it a few times before we decided to put acorns and branches around it!
The private walkway to the beach goes right by the parking garage of the condo to the right of the house, when facing the ocean. Great location, easy walk!!
Will consider renting again next year! Wonderful place to destress, and relax! You will feel like a new person and you won't want to leave!
The advertising of this property drew me to it.The property was not all it should have been.Kitchen stove had a front big burner in-operatable.The gas grill outside was so gross and very dirty from last renters or owner. I went out and bought one and used the one I bought. The kitchen had bare minimum of settings and pans were so old and used they would not even sit properly on the burners that did work. The gas grill outside had to be from the early80’s.For the money that anyone pays should get better items.
We had a marvelous time in your lovely home. It is often difficult for us to find a home for time at the beach and enough room for our family. This house was not only large enough, but it was clean, the yard was great and had the amenities that made being away from our own home convenient. Thank you for that. This was our first experience with VRBO and if you will have us, we would love to do business again in the future. Communication was quick, forthcoming and key. That means a lot to us as customers. It made us feel like guests. We had a lovely vacation in your home.
Sincerely,
Mike and Carolyn and the children.
