Cosy two bedroom apartment. Polished floor boards, ground floor on a quiet street. Queen beds in both bedrooms.

Street parking outside the apartment is unmetered and unlimited.

100m from shops, cafes, restaurants of North Bondi Village where the 333, 380 & 379 Bus routes to city/Bondi Junction. Plus a 9 Hole Cliff Top Golf Course in your back yard!

This is a non-smoking apartment.

There is a two night minimum and a $250 cleaning fee levied per stay.

Good location

Pros: good location, close to beach, restaurants, shops and transportation. Ceiling fans in living and master bedroom. Cons: interior was old and worn out. One towel per person one kitchen towel and no new bed linen set provided for 18 days stay.No ceiling fan in extra bedroom. Toilet seat lose and damaged, vacuum cleaner not working, couch worn out. Could be a perfect home with some attention, love and updates.

Excellent location, great for families with teenage children, public transport, beach and cafes

We loved staying at the Ben Buckler apartment, our older teenage children could go and explore Bondi on foot, and there are cafes and bars around the corner from the apartment for early morning coffee and late evening drinks. Going to the beach is an easy walk, with grocery stores near by to pick up essentials on the way back. Public transport is around the corner, almost on your door step, with buses into the city and to meet the ferry at Rose Bay. The owners have made the process for access to the apartment simple which is great (thank you!). The parking (for un-metered parks) is described as "competitive" and it is, this was the only down side for us. If you can, choose to travel without a car there is a bus from the city almost to your door. Once our car was parked we did not use it again until we left North Bondi. Thank you for the fantastic stay, we absolutely recommend this place and hope to be back in the future.

We had a great time at Ben Buckler

Our whole family really enjoyed our stay in the North Bondi appartment! Everything we needed was there. It was very close to the busses and a short stroll to the beach. Cafés and Restaurants are also around the corner. Even a Yoga studio is around the corner and it is easy to sign up for classes online. We truly can recommend staying at Ben Buckler - almost feels like beeing a local.

Great location; excellent facilities

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids aged 11 and 6) stayed at Ben Buckler Beachside for a week in September. The location is simply amazing - a very pleasant 5 minute walk to Bondi Beach. Despite the high density accommodation in the area, the apartment and area was much quieter than we expected. It's not a big place by suburban Australian standards but we adjusted to the situation very quickly. The wifi and Foxtel were terrific, as was the fully equipped kitchen. There were also some recreational equipment in the unit which the kids made good use of. We found the rates very reasonable for the area. In addition, the public transport options were fantastic, with a major bus stop (plus Opal retailer) less than 100m from the unit. We caught PT into Sydney a couple of days; on one journey we caught the 333 bus to Bondi Junction and the train to Town Hall Station; on the way back we caught the ferry to Watson's Bay and then the 380 bus back down Military Road. The public transport options are many and varied! We also appreciated the attention to detail of the owners - we found the double bed was too small for us so we requested an airbed. After finding a leak in the one supplied we notified the owners and they provided a fully operational replacement as soon as possible. The one quibble was parking - it was unavailable on the street most of the time and we often had to park several hundred metres away from the apartment. This was a pretty minor inconvenience though.The most important critics - the kids - had a wonderful time on our Sydney holiday and wanted to know if we could extend our stay!

Thanks guys! My kids and I had a great few days in Ben Buckler. The unit has everything you need for a comfy stay. Great location! Close to everything, but just out of the hectic zone meant a good night sleep for the kids.

Excellent location

I stayed here with my husband and two children in March this year. The apartment is very spacious and the twin beds were perfect for the children aged 8 and 11. We arrived from the airport in a rental car around 9.30 am and the cleaning lady allowed us to leave our bags and pick up a key while she was getting the apartment ready for us. The decor is a little dated, the apartment could do with some fresh paint and there are lots of discarded items in the cupboards but it was clean and perfectly located for a four night stay.There is free parking on the road outside but we had to drive around a bit to find a spot. There is also free parking up the road near the golf club. There is a bus stop close by which brings you to Circular Quay and a couple of good cafes and restaurants within very short walking distance. The beach is also just a short walk down the hill. All-in, a great location for a family holiday with very easy access to both the city and the beach.

The master bedroom and bathroom are large and very nice. The living room and kitchen could use some refurbishments. The kitchen was very clean and functional but could use blinds. Living room furniture could be upgraded with better covers or replaced for better comfort. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Chris was very easy to work with and very accomodating

Gorgeous 1930's convenience!

Ben Buckler's was perfect for our family of 4! Easy walk to the beach, shops, and North Bondi local hang outs with great food and coffee, we felt totally at home. Out of the hustle and bustle of the strip we even saw a famous actor ordering fish 'n' chips from the same place we had dinner :) Would definitely stay again.

The unit is a typical old Bondi Unit, the blinds all need replacing as you can see in from the other units with them closed, the unit was very clean and it is in a great location with public transport around the corner. I suggest if you are able to jag a parking spot, leave your vehicle parked for your stay and use the public transport.

quaint flat In a great location

Top spot, out of the hustle and bustle but great cafes etc in easy walking distance, and only minutes to that awesome ocean. The flat itself is clean and well presented, main bed is a bit soft but that was ok for me. The flat is old but with loads of character; I expect if I lived in Sydney this is the kind of place I would have! The area is very safe and secure, people are friendly, easy to get the bus to the CBD or the next main shopping area, Bondi Junction. & the host of this accommodation was quick to respond to queries and 'checking in' was a breeze.

We liked the welcome guide and enjoyed some of the walks suggested in there. Would of loved to know sooner about the family Sunday bus pass for $2.50. We will be back, thank you.

The location was the best thing about staying at this property and the owners left a fantastic folder with lots of good advice on the local area which was very helpful. The only problem we encountered was the noise on the weekend night we stayed and the public holiday. There were lots of parties going on so it was very hard to sleep and the people in the apartment above us were noisy. A part from this I would still recommend this property for its location and value for money.

A Well appointed apartment with very kind owners who were very easy to communicate with. We found Ben Buckler Beachside to be centrally located and in walking distance to all amenities. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Linen, decor and furniture were functional and practical. The home library had an interesting and diverse choice of reading material. Beach toys were provided for the youngsters. The colour scheme, rugs, choice of framed artworks & mirrors aided in creating a cozy home-away-from-home feeling. We enjoyed our stay and are only too happy to recommend Ben Buckler Beachside to anyone visiting Bondi for future holidays.RegardsDanielle
