Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay here!! The checking was smooth… they left us in early and also let us stay late… so that was great!! The showers and the beds are great! And everything else is comfortable… the backyard had the big tree taken down now.. so it s perfect for sitting out in the sun and enjoying Florida..

Nice Accommodations

Ed's property is exactly as described and was an excellent value when compared to other, similar residences in the area that charge a higher daily rate. We enjoyed the backyard, as did our dog. The climate control system system worked well as did all devices and appliances in the kitchen and elsewhere in the home. The beds were comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep. Perhaps a new piece of furniture or two would "spruce up" this residence a bit, but that's a very minor quibble. This property is located in the Ringling Gardens area of Sarasota, which is a neighborhood where homes have been steadily rehabbed in recent years and also a neighborhood that's convenient to nearly everything, including Payne Park where we enjoyed several walks and Ed Smith Stadium where we attended several Baltimore Orioles spring training games. Communication with our host was very good, even though he was traveling during part of our stay. A big storm caused a loss of electricity late one night, and our host went to extra lengths to report the outage of power, which was restored shortly thereafter. All in all, a very, very enjoyable stay with no complaints. Thank you, Ed!

A superb holiday in a magnificent location

We really appreciated the warm welcome Ed gave us, and we enjoyed this beautiful, superbly equipped house with all the comforts we needed, and the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. Thank you for the table football, we had a great time! This beautiful house is very well situated in SARASOTA, an extraordinary town! We hope to come back one day.

Host didn’t respond to emails or calls and no booklet

No Wi-Fi that worked. Said pet friendly and then host said no pets allowed. Door instructions non existent. Code came day of with address not day of booking as stated on website. Not a safe feeling in home. Aggressive dog across the street barking and growling every time I went out. Cheap renovation. Doors shorter since carpet removed. Door lock instructions missing other than a code. Worst VRBO place I’ve ever stayed. Awful. Left one night in to stay. VRBO service could also not reach the host.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay in this house in Sarasota. It was clean and inviting with comfortable beds and tasteful decor. It was not far from the beaches or shopping districts and had a combiner location to the non-tourist part of town as well. Off the beaten path in a quite neighborhood which we appreciated after long days at the race course. Thanks for an amazing stay and gracious hospitality.

Quiet neighborhood but very close to main roads.Older home but very clean, spacious, plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Clean modern appliances. Nice backyard seating area. Flat sidewalk walk to downtown 1.2 miles.

Great place to stay

We stayed here when our daughter moved into Ringling College. Lovely home, cozy, plenty of room and close to everything. Ed was very pleasant and accommodating to our needs, a great host. The only suggestion I have is to install blinds in the first bedroom on left and master bath.

Great location, great space

We had an excellent stay. Ed’s place is inviting and had so much entertaining space. It would’ve been great to take advantage of all this great house has to offer, but we were only in for a brief stay to attend a graduation. We did get to Siesta Key though. The location is perfect - close to everything! Ed was a great host. I will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Quiet neighborhood close to Van Wezel

The property suited our needs perfectly. We were in town to see a show at the Van Wezel theatre, and it was a very short drive, although not as "walkable" as I thought it would be. The home suite our needs well. Great quiet neighborhood and plenty of room to spread out. Beds were comfortable. A few more towels in the bathrooms would have been good but it was not a real problem. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Ringling Park House

Ed's house was as described. It was very clean. The location and proximity to downtown Sarasota is great. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood which is very quiet. Nice place to stay.

We were in town for a wedding this past weekend and stayed at this location for 3 nights. It was perfect in every way! The property looks just like the pictures. It was very clean, and the host, Ed, was very responsive to any questions I had. He also was accepting of a request I had. We definitely would stay here again!!

Perfect home.

Very clean and well equipped with pretty much anything you would need. Quite and safe neighborhood. Close to downtown, St. Armand's Circle, Lido Key, Selby Gardens, etc.
