This is a four bedrooms and two bathrooms holiday house.
One en-suite with king size bed and a portable travel baby bed.
Two rooms with queen size bed.
One room is specially prepared and decorated for children with a bunk bed.
The living room has a gas fireplace to keep you warm during the winter time.
The nicely designed backyard can be a good playground for your kids.
The hot spa is located on the deck outside, so you can enjoy New Zealand’s blue sky and sunshine while you are relaxing in the hot spa pool.
Last but not least, there is also an outdoor bar table and chairs next to the spa pool.
I am sure you can imagine how cozy it will be to have someone enjoy the spa and some people enjoy the beer or wine.

Matariki getaway
Location was perfect for our occasion for a sports tournament which was only a 5 minute walk! House was beautiful and the spa was a bonus to keep our little one entertained. Basics for our stay was good. For heating the fireplace wasn't usable and was replaced by fan heaters which we counted about 5 within the house. Huge house with so much potential if they were to add to make this house more homely.

Incredibly disappointing - would not recommend
I messaged the host after our stay (9 days prior to this review) to respond to our concerns. They haven't responded at all. So I've explained our ratings Cleanliness - black mould and soap scum in both bathrooms. And mouldy curtains Check in - followed up multiple times b4 check in as I had not received instructions/heard from them at all. Accuracy of listing - no fireplace even though it was listed (and still is) as fireplace is broken awaiting parts. Communication - both having to chase them before we checked in and then no comms since we stayed. Location and area - was great for us as was close to the event we were attending. Overall rating - this also includes when we arrived there was no working fridge. There were towels down so the host was presumably aware there was an issue and had not sorted an alternative solution or advised us in advance of this. We ended up wasting food because we didn't have a fridge. We are part of a sports community that travels around the country so we use rentals quite a lot. Our group probably travels out of Wellington at least once a month, so we have a lot of experience with using rental facilities. All in all, we felt that we spent a significant amount of money to rent this place. And to have no fridge and unclean bathrooms, let alone having to spend more to accommodate for not having a fridge, is not something anyone should have to contend with. That the host hasn't responded at all speaks volumes. Don't stay here! Would give 0 stars

Our family loved there 2 night stay there. The house was great for our large family. Only thing it needs is some TLC and maintenance around the place to bring it back to it former glory.

A great spot to stay
This was a great place to stay. The communication with the owner was great and they even refunded us some money st the last minute when our plans changed. The house itself was nice. Plenty of kitchenware, etc supplied. We unfortunately didn't getting time to use the spa but it was lovely and warm when I put my hand in it. Some of the tapware and the shower slides are showing there age and could do with replacing but overall a great property and would use it again in the future. Thank you.

Needs attention
On day of arrival we were messaged that the TV didn't work. Ants were an issue, they were everywhere. Decking needs work, boards a warped. Went to be to find bedspread covered with insects. Would not stay there again.

Spa pool broken Toaster faulty & doesn't turn off Showers had green slime & rusty shower heads Beds are matress toppers only ontop of wood & have queen or single top sheets later over yellow stained matress protector Head post broken in 1 room & hit eldery father in face whilst laying down 2 broken tables tied together with string Chairs incredibly stained and have blood mark on 1 Smoke alarms been removed Manager very rude & didn't want to accept issues & ratcheted we moved out immediately. Fought to get a refund for last night stay

Great location, beautiful home
Beautiful home but in need of maintenace & TLC. Fridge did not cool food properly & freezer iced up. Minimal utensils to cook meals, pans old with no non-stick so very difficult to cook-no containers to store food & spa jets would not work. Ant bait catchers would be great as we arrived to ants in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home but would have been better without these issues. Cooking was never pleasant, i used chop sticks to cook the bacon & a weird wooden stiring utensil for my poached eggs, small things like tongs & egg flip would have made all the difference :)

Great size house for our family group of 6 adults and 3 kids. Spa pool was great. Good size kitchen but limited utensils, plates, dishes etc. Garden and lawns in terrible condition. Kids couldn't kick a ball around the lawn. Weeds not just in the garden but around the front door. Neighbourhood a lovely tidy area, good neighbours

Lovely Home, Lovely Stay
The home is really lovely. Clean, warm and inviting. Decor is great - esp for a holiday. the dining room chairs are a treat - children would have a wonderful time sitting on them. Spa pool was hot and relaxing. Close to town, but in a very quiet newish neighbourhood. Small shopping centre just around the road. We truly enjoyed our time here.

First experience with booking a batch
The property was very clean and spacious. This was our first experience with a book a batch so didnt really know what to expect. The cooking facilities were under estimated as there was only a wooden spoon and spatuler only. The tv only had you tube so my grand parents were not happy. The garage door didnt work. The spa had issues and a mind of it's own with the jets. Other than the negatives the house was clean, the beds were comfy and we all enjoyed our selves.

Large tidy property
A well maintained property that was comfortable and a pleasant stay. Internet was good and easily handled 4 devices. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Recommended for a large family or group of friends.
