This charming Alpine style house is situated in one of Bright's best streets. The house backs directly onto the Ovens River, less than 400m along a quiet riverside track via a bridge into town. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the sound of birds and the babbling river as you eat your breakfast on the large balcony that looks straight down to the river. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open space living area of lounge, kitchen/dining. Perfectly suited for 2 families or 3 couples. Upstairs consists of a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a queensize bed and private balcony overlooking the river and one with a double bed with a single bunk on top. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one with a single bunk bed and the other with a queen size bed and direct access to the large balcony and views of the river. There is also a fold out sofa bed in the lounge for the bigger groups.
On the rear deck there is an heated outdoor 8 person spa which is an OPTIONAL extra charged at $140 per stay.
Please note that we do have a 4 guest minimum for the weekends and school holiday periods.

Great location within walking distance of township. Property had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean for its age and the back balcony was just beautiful to sit at to watch the wildlife and listen to the river.
Great property and excellent location right on the river and so close to town. We loved the spa use and extra space outside for the kids to run around.
The Foxes' Den is a classic home of its era, very quiet, comfortable, and pleasant to spend time in. Comfortable bed (a big thing for me)! Its location is amazing - look out the back windows across the garden to the Ovens River. Being able to walk the river path down beside the rapids, or across the bridge to the town centre, was absolutely brilliant.
Excellent property,ideal location, great for a family vacation. Walking distance to shops and playgrounds. Plenty of outdoor options to keep everyone happy.The spa was a great addition.
This is a very tidy house with everything you need. It’s not new, so don’t expect it to be perfect, other than the location, which is perfect. I’d stay here again.
Very impressed, the almost ideal location for a lazy weekend. 5 minute walk to the town square, lots of great places to eat and relax. Heaps of room in the house, and very pleasantly presented for our arrival.
Such a great property. It was a freezing cold weekend and the place was cozy warm and had everything we could have wanted. The spa was fabulous as was the location to the river and the town. Will definitely stay again.
Foxes Den is very well appointed and so close to the centre of Bright, the kids loved riding their scooters along the paths to the splash park. We enjoyed chilling out on the deck in the beautiful surroundings by the Ovens river.
We had a lovely weekend at Foxy's Den! It was our second time staying at Wendy's home and it did not disappoint. A few steps away from the beautiful Ovens River and a short stroll into town you can ask for a better location.
