Hanalei Bay Resort, #3106

One-of-a-kind studio unit with a stunning view overlooking Hanalei Bay and beautiful Bali Hai. Located at Hanalei Bay Resort - 22 acres of Hawaiian paradise only minutes away from one of Hawaii’s most beautiful white sand beaches, Pua Poa. Our ground floor condo is fully air-conditioned and only steps from parking and the gorgeous resort pool.

The space
Hotel style studio. The living space includes a king bed, a lounge chair, a dresser, a table with two chairs, and a mini-kitchenette. There is a large bathroom with a closet and walk-in shower for two. There is a TV with cable, Wifi, and air conditioning. There is also a lounge chair and a table and chairs on the lanai.

Things to note:
The unit does not have a full kitchen but does include a mini-fridge, toaster, coffee maker and dishes. There are grills and microwaves in the resort common areas. There is also a laundry room with coin washing machines and dryers in the next building.
Hanalei Bay Resort charges 2 fees that must be paid directly to them at the front desk.
Upon check-in, you will be charged a one time registration fee of $50 and a resort/parking fee of $45+ tax a night per unit. This fee includes parking and allows access to all of the wonderful resort amenities, including the pools, hot tub, towels, beach shuttles if you don't feel like walking, fitness center, laundry room, tennis courts, outdoor grills, and more.

Cancellation policy
100% refund for cancelations within 60 days. 50% refund for cancellations within 30 days, We do not provide refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of arrival unless we can rebook the unit.

The view of Hanalei Bay and mountains from the unit’s lanai is spectacular!Conveniently located near Hanalei and Princeville. The Happy Talk Bar has great drinks and food. Next time we will rent the unit next door with a kitchen.

Loved our stay here! Convenient to Hanalei Bay, also an easy walk over to Hotel 1 for sunset drinks. The shower is like nothing I’ve experienced. There are all the extra jets in the walls and you get a 360 clean

Top Notch Location and View
Beautiful location, easy access to room, and an amazing view. Cute visitors everyday with the Nei Nei (Hawaiian Geese) and tremendous sunsets make the stay feel so unique and memorable. Not the quickest or easiest drive to the actual resort, as it is reallt far into Princeville, but worth the extra time to get there. Great communication with the Host (Stacey) as they allowwd us to check out a little later due to flying out that night. We also left behind a cell phone cord and was immediately notfiied that it would be left at the feont desk. We would definitely stay here again if we ever returned to Kauai.

This was my second stay in this unit and even though I knew what to expect I was still impressed by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail. I couldn't have asked for a better kitchenette nor a more comfortable bed. The view is spectatcular.

Stunning View!
The title of this unit is very accurate. The view is absolutely stunning & immediately set the tone for our very short stay putting big smiles & excitement in our faces. For our overnight purposes, it was just right & had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable & the bathroom is spacious with an updated dual shower. The AC kept the room very nice & cool. The convenience of being on the 1st floor & in one of the buildings right next to the parking lot made things much easier for us to unload & load our luggage. We’ve stayed at this resort before in a different unit & love all of the amenities & the location. The only big drawback is finding parking. But the unit itself was enjoyable for our night stay. Mahalo!

Property location and views are unbeatable. However, the unit is a little dated and some things could be updated (i.e. new curtains, a microwave, etc.). Check-in was delayed for unforeseen reasons but the hosts were very nice and accommodating while we waited.

Great view of Hanalei Bay and beautiful grounds. Clean room with comfortable king bed. Beach gear, snorkel equipment, and ice chest in closet was nice touch. Parking spots can be challenge in the evening - had to use valet due to no empty spots but hotel staff was very accommodating.

The room and the resort were both beautiful! It was unfortunate that the resort was remodeling the second restaurant space and no longer uses the swim up bar. We didn’t realize until the last day that we could use the bar and order food at the hotel sharing the beach area, which we wish was communicated by check in staff earlier. Overall wonderful room with spectacular views!!! We would highly consider staying again when we return to Kauai!

We had a great time in Princeville and loved many things about the accommodations...PHENOMENAL view, great spa shower, comfy bed. We did think the ad was somewhat misleading. The unit is called a "studio". All studios that I've ever been to have full kitchens (even if they're small). This one didn't have a sink (we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink using hand soap) or a microwave. If the owner's closet were moved, there would be enough space for a larger kitchen. The other surprise was that the unit is part of a resort. We did enjoy the amenities of the resort (e.g., clean beach towels every day, the cart ride to the private beach, etc.) but it we didn't know in advance that there would be check-in, resort and parking fees over and above the VRBO cost. Also, given those expenses, it would have been nice to have early check-in. We arrived at 11:30 and couldn't get in to the room until 4 pm. To be fair, the front desk wouldn't allow early check-in without permission from the owner.

Breathtaking view
Wake up to a breathtaking view every morning. After a rain you can see all kinds of waterfalls. The property is perfectly located on the island to take in so many different scenes/spots. There is so much to do here and so much to see.

Amazing view. Amazing Stay
We had an amazing stay here. We woke up to a beautiful ocean view and hawaiian geese standing outside to say hello. At night, we watched the sunset over the ocean. The unit was well appointed with towels, high quality soaps and shampoos, beach gear (umbrella, snorkel equipment, beach bag, etc), the bed was comfy, and we always felt very safe. It was nice to be on the first floor (as opposed to a higher up floor) because we were able to enjoy the grassy area outside the unit and easily walk to and from our unit from outside. There wasn't a kitchen or microwave, but there were all other kitchen amenities like glassware, plates, bowls, utensils, plastic storage containers, coffee maker, etc. I was grateful that when I forgot some items upon checking out, the owner texted me asking if I was still around and could pick them up. The only thing that would have been nice to have is a vacuum since the floor got sandy after our beach days. They did have a broom, which worked, but a vacuum would have been preferred. Anyway, we absolutely loved our first stay in Kauai and are so glad we chose to stay in Princeville and at this VRBO! Would highly highly recommend it!

Wonderful unit with spectacular views
I have stayed in quite a few "lock offs" at Hanalei Bay Resort and this one was my favorite by far. I loved this ground floor unit in Guava, so close to parking and the main pool, yet very private and quiet with a fabulous view. The Nene and chickens parade by daily. The lanai not only has a table and two chairs but also a very comfortable lounge chair. Inside there is also a chaise for reading or relaxing. The kitchenette is stocked extremely well. I lacked for nothing. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I'll stay again for sure.

Great Stay at HBR
My husband and I had a great stay, the room was clean and spacious and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. There were a few days that guests stayed in the adjoining room next door and it did get a little loud at times, but for long and not at an unreasonable hour. The view from the lanai is better than the picture! We would love to come back again.
