I really enjoyed staying at this property, it was close to amenities yet a quiet retreat away from the noise and nightlife in the more central district. The property supplied plenty of towels, bedding and heating to keep me toasty warm on a very wet cold weekend. Thanks for hosting me I'd certainly recommend

Manly beach stay
Apartment is situated in easy walking to beaches, ferries, buses, shops bars and restaurants. We loved our stay. We had everything we needed in the apartment for our stay. Dean was easy to deal with and had excellent communication. If we return to Manly we would definitely stay there again.

Slightly "Faulty Towers"
A bit frayed around the edges. Bit of a strange smell that did not really go away. Basic and ok but too expensive for what it was . To be fair the bed was comfy, plenty of towels but the room was cold. ..unfortunate as temperature for spring was below average.There was a heater which worked fine but one window near the bed would not shut properly. On the day we wer travelling (am ) I emailed asking owner for blankets.as I cannot sleep under a duvet..granted it was last minute ..ish. We arrived in the evening.He could not provide and suggested we go out the next day and buy some! We objected to that and later that day emailed him again and by the evening he had found us one. As I said, bit faulty towers. We did not have a phone number for him and he seemed bit reluctant to give his. With a bit of persuasion he gave his land-line but said he could not call us as we had an NZ mobile! That meant we could not text him either. Room was clean except for around the windows where the fly screens were, by bed and in kitchen very dirty. Owner was friendly but we resent a bit paying extra for cleaning given the state of the windows.

Wonderful Rental right in the Heart of Manly Beach.
The rental is within minutes walking distance from Manly Beach and suited my needs perfectly. It's kept very clean, has a nice garden and a good size Kitchen for all your cooking needs. It's very roomy with a comfortable bed and bath, and a good size TV. I want to acknowledge in particular the Host of the Property, Dean Olsen. I've been doing property rentals from Verbo and Home Away off and on for ten years. Never in those years have I found a host more responsive to my needs. He's extremely personable and gave me some wonderful suggestions on things to do while I was there that met my interests. He was quick to respond to anything I asked of him and he ensure the rental space remained spotlessly clean. I cannot highly recommend this property enough.

Amazing - clean, comfortable, and great location
I was traveling on a father-daughter trip (12 yrs old) and was looking for a place near the beach with a kitchen and off-street parking. This property was perfect. It's clean and bright/sunny with lots of windows. Its tucked away towards the back of the building (with a long driveway) - so lots of privacy from the street. Its laid out as a studio (1 large room, with the kitchen on one end, a dinette table and couch, and then a bed at the other end near the bathroom). The offstreet parking was very helpful and it was only a 10min walk to the ferry (to get into Sydney) and Manly beach. Our host, Dan was amazing. Very responsive (reponds in minutes or an hour at most), and takes care of every request. He was able to allow us to check-in early - which was nice since our flight arrived at 8:30 AM - and it was nice to be able to freshen-up/shower when we got to the property at around 11 AM. Also, at some point I was looking for a can opener and sent a message asking Dan if he had one. Next thing I knew, when we came back a few hours later, there was a brand new one waiting for us on the patio table by the front door! (I really wasnt expecting that!). Dan goes out of his way to accommodate. Absolutely would stay here again!

Great location, work in progress
Owner Dean is a great communicator and made the check in seamless as we were later than expected. We took the Ferry and walked the 400m to the apartment. The last 100m is an uphill challenge, the unfit or elderly may struggle with, but there's an onsite parking option right outside the front door after you come thru the Gothic gates with the 'Sphinxes' on each gatepost. There have been layout changes internally from the advertised photo and Dean advises that there are more, much needed reno's happening at the end of November 2024. Excellent location close to Manly Wharf eateries and within an easy downhill walk to the Corso and its many casual and upmarket eateries, then onto the Manly Beach boardwalk. Looking forward to the upgradeas we will be back in a few months
