Home Away From Home!

All you need to know about this wonderful rental is that we seem to return every year! The location, in the Pier Bowl, is easily walkable to the pier and downtown. We especially enjoy the beautiful sunsets in a large, comfortable, well decorated living room. Beds are comfortable. Lorraine is a perfect host!

Fun Stay Near the Beach

Selected this location to be up away from the commuter train noise overnight. Air conditioning was great, the place worked well for our family of 4 with teenagers

Vacation with our daughter

Our daughter lives in Laguna Hills. So we vacation in California once a year. The castle was clean it had everything we needed and it's a block away from the ocean. Just a fantastic place.

Perfect Location

The neighborhood is quiet in the evenings and you are only two blocks from restaurants and the pier. During the summer months there is a wonderful trolley that will take you up to the outlets, and main town where there are many good restaurants and cute shops. The condo is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The only thing I would change is they need more silverware a frying pan and maybe a few more glasses for having guests. I enjoyed San Clemente it is a great beach town. We loved walking everyday on the beach. Great Stay!

Fabulous

Great location, 2 streets back from the beachfront, easy 2 minute walk to the beach, pier, beach trail, coffee shops, restaurants, convenience store. More restaurants & boutique stores just up the road. Lovely apartment - cozy, spacious, comfortable & homely. Kitchen was well stocked. Host was super accommodating to all our needs & requests. Very happy overall.

Location!!!

Me and my daughters had a great time during our stay at the castle! Super spacious and in a great location too. Only a 5 minute walk from the San Clemente pier. The rooms were cozy and we had a pretty view from the living room windows! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Relaxing at the beach

The property was clean, inviting and updated with a great location. Lorraine the property manager was very helpful and was available when needed. Access was easy and everything was wonderful. Clean apartment, great location

We had a great 4-5 day stay (family with 2 children, 13 and 10). The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants. My favorite feature was the view of the beach from the corner window, great place to drink coffee in the morning! The owner responded promptly to the one (minor) issue we had. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Great location and very easy getting access to the property. Very quiet at night and easy access to the beach. Would stay there again. Wonderful ocean view from the living room area. Coffee and cafes are within walking distance too.

Exercise and entertainment

This house was perfect for us. It is situated nicely between downtown and the ocean, which provided ample opportunity to burn calories walking up and downhill, shopping and plenty of eating and cocktailing. No need to drive once you get there, unless you want to venture outside of the area! There is a grocery store located very close by for stocking up. The homeowner was great at communicating before and during the trip. Thank you for a beautiful stay away from the cold in the heart of winter!

Amazing property and location!

My family loved everything about our stay here! From the ease of check-in and great communication w/ the owner to the beautiful view and location to the little things like having a toy bin and beach cart/chairs, the entire experience was very positive and made for a super relaxing vacation. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again some day!

Holiday House

The Castle was very impressive. When we arrived we noticed that everything was updated and we loved the way the place was decorated. It was clean and everything worked without any problems. Wonderful beach home!!

We loved our stay at this beach home! It was roomy, extremely clean, in a perfect location, and had everything one could need for a perfect trip! We enjoyed the short walk to the pier with fun restaurants, outdoor dining and entertainment. The porch was a relaxing place for coffee and enjoying the ocean views. The entry porch was relaxing and decorated so beautifully! The house has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation!!! Can't wait to come back!

Location, location, location!

We enjoyed the apartment! The master bedroom had a comfortable, king bed and its own half bathroom plus a mini outdoor area. The little balcony was our table with a small but wonderful view of the ocean. The windows inside also brought light and delight into the apartment! We could walk 2-3 blocks to the pier, beach and walking trail, snack on ice cream, crepes, coffee and other goodies. It's a 5-10 minute lovely walk gradually uphill) into town. Be aware that the parking space in front of the garage is short and narrow with adjacent ones for residents. Go slow and it will be ok. Stairs up to the apartment. We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful stay at the Castle

This was our fourth stay at the Castle. The appartment is close to the beach, well equipped, and suited for families with toys, babybed, highchair and beach equipment. Lorrain is the perfect host, making sure we have a nice stay. There will definately be a fifth stay. Thank you again!

Loved it AGAIN!

This is hands down the best property to rent in any beach town! I can't say enough about the location, the cleanliness, the communication, the amenities, it is all 5 star!! This is our third time at this property and I am already booked in July! Now I just book a year in advance so I can be sure we have a spot! The only reason I don't want to give a good review is because then I have competition on my booking dates :) ha ha! Everyone should want to stay here. I absolutely love how each time we visit she has changed a little something and made it even more comfortable, for example, this trip I noticed new towels and rugs in the bathroom, along with a new front door with keyless entry...it's the little touches that she does to make sure it's just like home. Lorraine is by far the best communicator for any VRBO house we have ever stayed in, she sends you all the information far enough in advance and checks in on you to be sure you got in ok, and checking out is easy too! We love Lorraine and the property!! Thank you again for making our beach vacation enjoyable, we appreciate you.

I liked this building and area because it has a comfortable relaxing feel. Dress casual, feel comfortable, eat good food, view of the ocean. one minute walk to the pier and ocean. We went to visit the area and I immediately loved it. When we saw the building and what the area had to offer it felt like home but on vacation. When I am there I relax and unwind. Old town feel by the ocean.
