Our completely renovated Queenslander Home epitomises beach side living in the tropics.

The design of Beach Pavilion invites, with connecting pavilion walkways, large sliding doors, louver windows and high ceilings to embrace our beach lifestyle, "where the Hamptons meet's Australian Beach" styling.

The living and lounge pavilion, opens out to views at each end maximising the natural flow of air. This pavilion also contains the fully equipped gourmet kitchen boasting striking stone bench tops, breakfast bar, modern appliances and also lends to an elegant dining suite perfect for entertaining large groups.

Formal lounging with smart TV area that opens out to an undercover entertainment area with outdoor dining, built in BBQ and outdoor bar fridge for your pleasure, all overlooking the stunning in-ground pool which is surrounded by tropical gardens complete with a sun lounge deck.

Each bedroom designed with luxurious comfort and views in mind. The night lighted backyard tropical rainforest view is an added delight not to mention a one minute walk to the famous Four Mile Beach!

Your own private resort!
It’s like having your own private resort. Generous sized bedrooms. Separate sleeping quarters and granny flat from the house allows for a retreat from the main living areas. An added bonus, nearly every bedroom has its own bathroom with four bathrooms and five toilets in total - very beneficial for a large group. If considering booking during summer, keep in mind the living area is not air-conditioned and the pool is not covered. Overall, we had a fantastic Christmas getaway.

The property was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was great that the house had 4 full bathrooms three being ensuites, so ample space and privacy for everyone. We went on a few morning walks along 4 mile beach 3 minutes walk from the house.

Terrific for family get together.
Excellent property for a family to reconnect and spend time together. We celebrated 'Grandad's 70th Birthday'. Everyone had a wonderful time. The configuration of the house enabled us to relax after the children had gone to bed.

Stunning and everything required for extended family. Layout with seperate bedrooms, made it easy for quiet time if required. Living area and pool were great where all the family could enjoy each other’s company. Taxis and Ubers were easy to travel to the main eateries of which there are many to choose from. Overall highly recommended

We loved our recent stay at Beach Pavillions- the house suited our family group perfectly. The main pavilion that opens up to the pool area was brilliant, space for everyone to chill out. Seperate bedroom pavillions worked perfectly and it was so nice to have multiple bathrooms. Short walk to the beach and a few minutes drive to all the cafes and shops of Port Douglas. Spotlessly clean and excellent communication made our stay super easy .

The house suited our 8 adults and 2 children very well. Every couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The pool was a good size for a group swim and the ledge around the edge was perfect for our 2 year old. The kitchen was great for group cooking. The facilities supplied were great. Useful additions would be a vacuum cleaner and more baking pans eg lasagne dishes to suit a group.

Perfect for us; clean, tidy, well appointed. Pool was bigger than expected. Would be hard to have imagined a better house for a 5 adult, 5 children 3 generation holiday. We had a lovely time.

We had a fabulous week and the house was perfect for a family group. Living areas were spacious and bathrooms good size. The pool was huge and it was helpful to have pool toys. Kitchen had everything you needed except for a sharp knife! Thoroughly recommend staying as it was clean, fresh and only a few minutes walk to 4 Mile Beach.

Escape from Winter in Melbourne
Our party consisted of 2 grand parents, 4 parents, 2 children & 2 infants. The property was able to cater for the needs of everyone. The 4 mile beach was only 200 metres away & was the perfect way to start every morning.The pool was used extensively by the 2 older children.I thoroughly recommend Beach Pavilions to families wishing to spend time together.

Fabulous Getaway
Everything about our stay was wonderful. We all enjoyed the pool and the proximity to 4 Mile Beach. The layout worked well for our multi-generational group. The accommodation was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We appreciated the extensive local information provided by our hosts. I would highly recommend Beach Pavilions and should we be back in Port Douglas would stay there again.

And relax!
As soon as you enter the property you get that resort like feel with the light and bright open plan living flowing into the generous outdoor bbq and pool area. The home is very spacious, clean and easily accommodated our group of 10. Walking distance to the local beach with a short shuttle ride available into Port Douglas township. Highly recommend!

Sensational Home
Terrific modern home with the ideal layout for family to gather. We were four individual families coming together to spend Christmas and it couldn’t have been better for us. Plenty of rooms and associated bathrooms all seperate from the communal area. The beautiful pool, availability of all you could need within the home, coupled with a lovely quiet location and close proximity to a playground and the beach resulted in us having the perfect time away!!

Beautiful relaxing beach house
A wonderful stay, thoroughly enjoyed by all. A few little things we needed attending to and they were at ended to within a half hour, absolutely fantastic service. The layout of the house is great as sleeping quarters is a separate building to the living so adult time in the evening didn’t interfere with little ones sleeping. Cleanliness excellent and the house pretty much felt like a hotel when we arrived. Great pool and entertaining area, wouldn’t even look for another place. Definitely will return to this place next time we visit Port Douglas! Well done Grant and Sharon, a wonderful home.

Fantastic Home in Great Location
My extended family enjoyed a wonderful stay and would definitely love to return. The size and layout of the property worked so well for our multi-generational group of 8. The private huge heated pool was a hit as was the open plan indoor/outdoor living areas. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, plates and glassware required for a large group, and along with spacious comfortable bedrooms, ceiling fans and air cons made it an easy holiday to enjoy. We enjoyed the property being only walking distance to the beach and a short drive to replenish stocks. Exceptional communication meant we were always looked after and any query would be addressed promptly. A lovely property and would highly recommend.

Fantastic home for family reunion
Our family (ages 9-80) had a wonderful time staying at the Beach Pavilions for our reunion last month! The house fully met and even exceeded our expectations - the photos and listing are completely accurate and the house was immaculate when we arrived. The location (a short walk to the beach, less than 10 minutes drive to Port Douglas restaurants and market) was great and made an excellent launching point for our day trips to Mossman Gorge, the Daintree River and Cape Tribulation. The layout (a big open area near the kitchen/patio/pool along with separate bedrooms/bathrooms) allowed us to spend time together but still have separate living space - perfect for a multi-generational reunion! Thanks again for sharing your house with us! I'll be pointing your listing to any friends considering Port Douglas as a destination.

Amazing Residence ! 5 Star experience
Where do I start! This property is like living in a Home Beautiful magazine, the design of the property is perfect for families and friends. It allows privacy for guests in adjoined houses and offers a central indoor/outdoor area to entertain. All the finishing's are superior quality, not to forget the toiletries and linen. We stayed with our friends including from the UK and found it the perfect place for our catch up. The hosts went beyond the call, providing all the little extra's such as kitchen, laundry essentials, books, games and advice on things to do and where to eat. It made the overall experience so personalised that it will be very hard to ever upstage this Staz property. I would happy recommend this property it will not disappoint the discerning traveller! Make sure you go to the Beach Shack for dinner and get the kids to try out the tyre swing located directly opposite the house in the field, handing from a tree. We will be back !

Perfect holiday home
Our family group (6 adults, 3 teens, one infant) had such an amazing time that we extended our stay! The house had everything we needed and was tastefully furnished. Short drive to Port Douglas. The design of the house (with sleeping areas separated from living areas) worked very well for us as family members going to bed and waking up at different times meant minimal disturbance. Grant and Sharon were great to communicate with, any issue was resolved quickly and with no fuss. We had a great time.

A beautiful home for an extended family holiday The pool was very popular with us all .Bedroom setups were perfect The kids loved their bunks Large dining table and breakfast bar were ideal for meals but because the weather was so good we ate at the outdoor table almost all the time

Why they chose this property

We holidayed in Port Douglas every year, & fell inlove with the area - the weather is summer year round, surrounded by Reef and Rainforest , it really is nature's playground. The town is just the right size for us, not too big and not too small - just right! It is a very special tropical location, with SO much to see and do.
Beach Pavilions is so close to the beach, 177 steps to the sand of Four Mile Beach and a cute shady playground by the beach for our little VIP's.
Secluded quiet area, but only one block behind Port Douglas Rd where you can catch a shutlle bus into town day and night.
Very spacious home and perfect for big families or a 3 generation family holiday, where everyone needs some space and privacy but also a grand area to come together.

What makes this property unique

Gorgeous Old Queenslander beach house,we renovated sympathetically to keep the beautiful old timber and tropical architecture of pavilion style living. Today it has all the mod cons but still retains its old charm. Everyone falls inlove with Beach Pavilions and we hope you do also!
