The Waterlilly Cottage is perched in a quiet valley in the foothills of Morne Trois Piton National Park. Two rainforest ridges frame dramatic sunsets into the Caribbean Sea from 1800 ft. Experience a rainforest perch overlooking a botanical paradise and infinite sea view. A private retreat known for organically grown, multi course artisan meals, as well as enchanting sunsets, bird and floral diversity, and reliable service. The solar powered cabin has the comforts of ensuite hot shower and high speed internet. There is one full sized bed and one single bed. The verandah is spacious with lounging chairs and hammock. Inclusive meal & tour packages available.

We are a multi generationa and multi cultural family with decades of experience in the hospitality trade. We are a Culinary Institute Chef and an organic gardener, a certified local guide and a bushmaster, a plant lover and essential oil distller.. We thrive in our permaculture dynamic and get excited by trying new things in the old ways.
Why they chose this property
Our cottages are a perfect example of life in Dominica by being resilient and inspired by our circumstances and our natural surroundings. Beautiful morning birdsongs, afternoon dramatic sunset plunges into the Caribbean Sea, are followed by cool and quiet mountain evenings. This valley is a special and off the beaten path place yet within 30 minutes drive of the most spectacular natural and community inspired destinations on island.
What makes this property unique
This cottage is remote yet feels suspended at sea level between two mountain ridges. The gardens and greenhouse are eden. We have an on site gourmet world cuisine chef and his organic farming partner that define farm to table. We also have on site a certified local guide and driver available at any time for your intrests and adventures. We are a working aromatherapy garden which distills plants for essential oils and perfumes. Staying at Crescent Moon you can have as much interaction or privacy as you prefer but we are always available if you need us.
