We had a very nice stay and condo is in a great location! The wi-fi connection with the TV was spotty but Jennifer always responded quickly and would reset for us but he as a bit frustrating. Otherwise, Good place to stay in the French Quarter.
We came to experience New Orleans and see the Krewe of Boo annual Halloween parade. The unit was very clean, spacious and perfect for 2 couple's that wanted private space of thier own.
This property is a perfect location. We walked to everything we wanted to do from WWII museum, River walk, Bourbon Street, Royal street, Frenchmen street and so much more. This place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing we did not like was the couch and the chair- they were not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. That was a minor thing since we were gone majority of the time exploring the city. I would recommend this place to stay to my family and friends.
My family joined me for a conference and visited Tulane as a college visit for my son. Even though a hurricane was barreling into town. Jennifer assured us with great communication and sincerity that we would be greeted with true Southern Hospitality! She was able to accommodate our schedule as our flights changed to keep us safe and dry! Thank you Jennifer for taking care of us! The place was just as advertised with plenty of space with modern interiors, well kept, and in the middle of everything, adjacent to the police and fire stations.
We had a wonderful stay with all the conveniences of home yet located close to all the action and touristy spots. Great kitchen, large bathrooms and bedrooms. One thing to mention is that the wi-fi was sometimes week and unreliable.
This unitnwas in yhe perfect location tonbe able to walk to everything you could want to see and do in New Orleans. Perfectly located next to all the best restaurants and a quick 5 min walk to Burbon st. Loved every min and would stay here again!

Front door didn't lock--safety issue--save your time and money and take it elsewhere
Upon arriving, everything was fine and it's a cool little oasis off the constantly-dirty French Quarter. We didn't check until the day before, but no parking is included--that's on us. $200 for 5 days of parking 2 blocks away. We started having issues the same night as we noticed the bathtub in the queen bedroom downstairs drains insanely slow. So you're standing in your filth up to mid-shin. The windows in the bedroom and bathroom do not completely fill out the window frame so you have about 2-3 inches of just open air under them which lets in lots of hot air and challenges the A/C unit. On that note, the property management company has set the digital thermostat to a schedule where it changes to 90 degrees to save money. This is pre-programmed and we had to manually change the thermostat and keep an eye on it every hour or so. We aren't sitting inside all day in the French Quarter on vacation, so we'd return to a stifling hot house which would not recover by the time we were going to sleep. Beyond this, we inadvertently realized that the front door (electronic & controlled by property mgmt company and one supplied key fob) was not locking behind us! For two nights! Their response "Oops, my bad. It was in office mode. I'll change it." Owner stopped responding and still fighting 11 days later for some recompense. The Wi-fi always disconnected quickly. The washing machine leaked all throughout the kitchen causing us to return early. Not worth the money. 10/10 do not recommend
This was a great location for a 3 day visit. Easy walking to lots of food, shopping and tours. The unit was pretty clean except all the carpets were dirty. They need to add luggage racks to the bedrooms. The common area seating was limited and not too comfortable. Kitchen was very nice.
This place was way better than the pictures. Very clean and spacious. Great location. Close to everything. And Jennifer was always available by phone. We will absolutely come back!
Fantastic stay beginning with excellent assistance from the property manager Jennifer. I had questions before we arrived, and Jennifer had answers. Arrived to find the accommodations clean and inviting. The location of this property can't be beat for access to the French quarter and waterfront. We walked everywhere. Took the kids on the steamboat up the Mississippi river, caught a ride from Canal Street to Slidell for a swamp cruise, visited the aquarium and insectarium and did a tour of Mardi Gras World. Had a good view of fireworks on New Years Eve. Fun for all.
Very nice place. Close to everything we wanted to see and do. Hosts were terrific and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again! Thank you Tyrone and Jenny!!
We stayed at Le Charbonnet XL for Christmas with my family. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and it was a quiet street, yet very close to all the action of the French District. Jennifer was an amazing host, helped us every time we had a question. The internet is a bit fiddly, had to be restarted a couple times or our devices had to. The kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking, some small things were missing but Jennifer would take care of it. Great stay overall we all enjoyed it a lot!
Our unit was really nice! We loved the old building character with the modern updates. The property is in the ideal location to stay while you explore the French Quarter and the surrounding areas. Jennifer was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again.
This property is well done and the location is fantastic but the technical difficulties that lasted all five days we were there really put a damper on our stay.
When we arrived, the wifi was not working at all. After resetting our devices many times we got it going but it never stayed working for long. My husband's laptop was never able to properly secure so he was not able to work from the unit.
The TV's were also effected by the connectivity issues. Even though I let management know of the issue, it was never resolved they even stopped responding about these requests.
Our AC had been off of connectivity when we arrived so had to reset all of that. Then, we came home late on Friday night to a bedroom that was steaming hot. We ended up not being able to sleep in there - I was on the downstairs sofa and my husband was on the floor.
And....our washing machine did not work. Not sure that had anything to do with the connectivity issues but it was another thing to deal with during our stay.
The management tried to be accommodating (other than the TV issue) but if things are not working properly they just need to be fixed - before the unit is rented.
They call themselves a luxury rental property but these technical issues need to be resolved before this can truly be a 5 star rental. Make sure to pack your patience because we had to deal with these frustrations for the entire stay.
Never being in New Orleans before, I was very dubious about where we were staying. After staying there, my fears were unfounded. I felt very safe at all times. It was a cute, comfortable condo. Getting the water hot enough in the showers and sinks was a little difficult at times, but we learned that we just had to let it run a long time before it got hot enough. We did see one big roach in the bathroom.
