About this property

KALAAL COTTAGE is a three bedroom holiday house plus converted garage/sleep out 2 minutes walk from the beautiful white sands of Callala Beach. The beach is child safe and dog friendly with off leash area at the end of our street.

In the house Bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed, Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed and Bedroom 3 has a Queen Bed. The converted garage/sleep out has two triple bunk plus a Queen bed. This sleeping configuration would be ideal for two families, one in the house and one in the garage or parents inside the house and teenagers in the garage. Doonas and pillows are provided, you will need to supply linen, towels and tea towels. The house is non-smoking.

KALAAL COTTAGE is located an easy two hour drive from the Sutherland Shire plus is fully fenced and of course dog friendly. The laundry is equipped with washing machine, ironing board/iron plus a second toilet and shower. We also have an outdoor shower for salt and sand.

An undercover outdoor entertainment area with seating for 10 and a 6 burner BBQ to make the most of a relaxing summer night meals.

The house can be rented all year round and we have a wood combustion heater for the colder months and fans in all bedrooms for the warmer days.

The Local Area

The local country club has a nice restaurant and also has an 18 hole golf course and bowling greens where you can play bare foot bowls. There is also a take away shop with fish and chips and burgers

Around at Callala Bay you will find an IGA, bakery, butcher, post office, newsagent, bottle shop and a pharmacy. There are some cafes and pizza place that also delivers.

There is a Woolworths located only 10 minutes away at Culburra Beach.

Great location and great house

The house is a 2 minute walk to Callalla Beach and close to bike trails and fishing areas. The back yard is completely enclosed so safe for kids and the front yard had kangaroos passing in the evenings. There is loads of room with a separate area for teens and parents to hang out if they want to. The kitchen had an abundance of crockery and utensils, though had no condiments left from previous guests so make sure to take everything you need. Craig was super helpful and I'd definitely stay again.

Family trip to Callala Beach

We had a lovely stay in Callala beach, and particularly enjoyed the short walk to the beach, the spacious backyard and great space for big family hangouts. The only thing I’d like to mention is that the flat top on the bbq was the only thing we could use as the rest was rusted.Thank you

Close to the beach and plenty of space

We were an extended family, so three full bedrooms, plus an addition of the converted garage as a 'sleep out' were ideal for us. The house is in a walking distance to the beach, so it was good to take a walk for a quick dip, without using a car. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes and crockery and is generally well equipped (except that the coffee pods machine was a bit temperamental and we used our own stove top coffee maker). Another nice plus was an outdoor shower and a veranda with a large table.Bedrooms could benefit from a carpet refresh but that's a minor issue.

We absolutely love this holiday house in Callala Beach!

Every time we return to Callala Beach, this is our go-to spot. The setting is perfect—cozy, clean, and well-equipped, especially in the kitchen, which has everything you need. Our teen girls especially enjoy using the spacious main house bathroom, which comes with a big mirror and is always spotless. My husband had a great time watching the NRL final with his buddy on the newly added outdoor TV. Thanks to Craig, we can't wait to come back again!

Family and Employee Holiday

We booked this accomodation for a family / employee holiday and because we have friends that live in the area. We couldn’t have asked for more, the place was beautiful. The host accommodated everything we required, having a seperate space for the kids / teens made the stay comfortable for all and with pets welcome we were able to bring our fur babies that gave us peace of mind. The home was equipped with everything we could have needed to feel at home and the location was wonderful. A big Thank you to Craig who is a wonderful host. We will definitely be recommending and staying again. Kangaroos right at your front door and the beach walking distance, what more could you ask for!

Home was well located and tidy. Had everything required for a good beach side stay. Kitchen was well equipped. BBQ was a ripper and home in general was clean and well maintained. Would recommend for a family stay!

Callalla Beach getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Craig was great with his communication. The property had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. Location was perfect. Beds and pillows were comfy. The kitchen had more than enough cutlery, plates and cups for us. A very safe and secure yard for our dogs too.

Lovely Beach Holiday House

We are delighted return customers. After trying a few different places in the area, we can confidently say that this charming beach house has won our hearts as our favourite vacation spot. It's cozy haven with all the amenities you need, excellent Wifi provided us with enjoyable evenings, allowing us to Chrome cast to TV and enjoy movies on the sofa.

Well pleased.

We just had a 4-day stay in this property with 6 adults and some dogs. The property is very nicely fitted out and presented very well inside and out. The location is just terrific, and the enclosed yard allowed ample space for the dogs and gave us comfort that the dogs were secure. Walking with the dogs both in the street and especially along the off-leash beach was delightful. We were blessed with great weather, all-in-all a fabulous stay.

Great family beach house

We had a lovely stay here and found lots of great amenities to the place: renovated bathroom, easy clean floors, fully functional laundry and second bath, outdoor entertainment space and lots of helpful features for a beach holiday. There’s a few things that could be fixed up and no aircon on some hot humid days was noticeable, but loads of fans and the outdoor space was like a second living room. It’s not a glamorous stay, but very functional and convenient for spending time at the beach with your extended family.

Great beach family accommodation

The house offers everything you will need for a great beach holiday. Plenty of room for even 2 families with well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom with tub and seperate toilet. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms which is nice on those warmer summer nights. Mattresses could be a bit softer for my liking. The house is pet friendly which was the reason we stayed here, and our little Millie loved her first beach holiday in Callala. Craig has great communication and answered all messages swiftly. Would definitely stay here again 😀
