Our Guest House is located in Nuriootpa, in the heart of the Barossa Valley. Situated a short walk from the Elderton Wines Cellar Door, this is a great base for any Barossa visit, be it wine tasting, cycling the Nuriootpa to Angaston bike track or indulging in one of the Barossa’s great eateries and restaurants.
Elderton Wines was established by Lorraine and Neil Ashmead in 1982 and is now managed by the second generation of the Ashmead family, brothers Cameron and Allister. The Ashmead family have enjoyed hosting many visitors over the years, and now offer Guest House accommodation to the public.
The Elderton Guest House offers three large bedrooms, able to accommodate up to six people comfortably one room contains a king bed, one room a queen bed and one room contains two single beds. The Guest House has reverse cycle air conditioning throughout, making it cosy in winter and beautifully cool in the summer.
The kitchen/dining offers a full kitchen, including oven and cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and sink. Coffee and tea provisions are provided for you to enjoy.
Also included for your stay – a bottle of Elderton wine which can be enjoyed in our Riedel glassware.
The separate lounge offers comfortable seating and a flat screen television.
The wet areas comprise of a bathroom with shower, bath, and toilet, plus an additional separate toilet and fully equipped laundry.
The Guest House pantry offers local olive oil, salt and pepper.
Enjoy on the patio which offers a gas BBQ and outdoor setting.

- Mid stay service provided for stays of 6 nights or more.
- The Lodge is strictly a non-smoking premise inside the building. If evidence of smoking is detected, a cleaning fee will be charged to the Guest.
- We realise accidents happen, but any wilful damage will be charged to the Guest.
