About this property

Located in the heart of idyllic Somers on the Mornington Peninsular.

The house features open plan living dining with partial views through the banksias to Somers coastal reserve along with a beatufull large pool and outside dining spaces.

The house along with the garden and pool is very relaxing and a great place to enjoy some time out or enjoy all the penninsula has to offer.
This location gives you access with a very short walk across the road to Somers beach, yacht club, general store and close proximity to surfing beaches and many excellent golf courses. in addition you have access to a number of excellent resturants and wineries to visit, walking trails , push bike adventures and access to horses if you enjoy riding.

Master bedroom is upstairs with 2 bedrooms downstairs. One of these bedrooms is made up of bunk beds that sleep 4. Two separate living areas. 1.5 bathrooms are extended with an outdoor shower, close to the pool. Inside and outdoor dining spaces with small but well appointed kitchen with Gaggenau oven, Dishwasher. Weber BBQ on the ocean deck or Gas BBQ area at the back for outdoor entertaining along with fire pit space.

The house has satellite WIFI.

Balnarring IGA, 10 mins drive will have you covered for all essentials and there are some excellent farm produce stores in the area as well. I as well have small vegetable garden and if there is anything ready to pick you are most welcome to.

We had a wonderful experience, staying three nights at this property in Somers. It’s the perfect location - being within a stone’s throw to the beach and general store. We all enjoyed the expansive heated pool and table tennis set-up. Beds weren’t super comfy for the grown ups, but the kids had very comfortable bunk beds. Margaret was a super host and was easily contacted with an initial query we had. Would stay again!

Beachside secret

This house was fantastic for our long weekend with family and friends. The giant pool and deck and gorgeous yard of native flora makes for an oasis that happens to also be walking distance to beautiful beach. And even at its busiest, this stretch of beach is not thronging. There's a great deck up top too and the sunset streams into the top floor. Special mention for the beds that are so comfortable. We keep coming back to this house. It's wonderful in Summer and cosy but still great for a Winter break. The host, Margaret is very responsive and lovely.

Spectacular Spot & Stay

Very bad experience

Our stay was disappointing due to several issues. The dishes and cutlery were dirty, including the white plates which required washing from scratch and stains over most of the cutlery. Additionally, we found bed sheet downstairs with yellow stains that seemed recent with a bad odour, and none of the outdoor chairs were clean, all chairs in the outdoor area were very dirty and dusty. Some of the towels provided were hand sized towels. Furthermore, the pool, which was supposed to be heated and for which I paid extra, was cold and not warm.

Beautiful home

Our group of 4 x 50+ friends loved our stay at this property, the pool and garden was delightful, and it was relaxing listening to the birds. We were surprised at the request of stripping the bed linen before we left, which would be fine if staying at a friend's home, rather than paying accommodation. Awesome Pool in Somers

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this great property, with our 2 adult children and their partners. The house is well equipped and thoughtfully decorated. The garden is amazing and a great place to hang out, as well as the awesome pool. Margaret was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The only issue for us coming back would be that the front gate did not close and our dog could wander off the property. This may not bother everyone but could be a problem for people with pets. P.S our dog had a great time, and we managed to block the gate with our car.

Somers delight

We stayed for three nights at Ocean View Crescent. The house is highly functional, chic and relaxing. The grandchildren aged from 4-13 had so much fun in the heated pool with bouts of table tennis in between. Mother and grandmother enjoyed much of the same and really loved the bird song and nature walks down to the beach as well. Another big plus is the short stroll to the Somers General Store. All in all a wonderful experience. Recommend 100 per cent!

Gorgeous house and stunning location

We had such a nice time. We didn’t hardly leave the house as it was so lovely and relaxing. Beds are super comfy too. We opted to heat the swimming pool and spent most of our time in the pool. The house has everything that you could possible want for a holiday. I highly recommend and we will hopefully be back soon.

Family stay with style!

Our family group had a lovely stay here. The location is fabulous with the Sommers General Store and Beach so close (walking distance). The weather was on our side to enjoy the stunning pool and enjoyed the local resident kookaburras visiting us to say hello poolside. The house is well equipped with added extras - Thank you so much for the attention to detail! Overall a highly recommended place to stay and enjoy exploring the local region for a large family or friends.

Fun weekend getaway

We were a group of 5 mums and had such a fabulous 2 night stay at Margaret’s house. The house was well stocked with plenty of space for all of us and we enjoyed the garden especially the stunning pool. Such a great location as well as we walked down each morning to the General Store for a delicious breakfast. We hope to return soon for another relaxing stay.

Nice place and area with huge pool

Although our holiday didn't turn out quite as we had hoped, the property was nice and as described. The owner Margaret is fantastic to deal with and super quick to respond to any concerns or questions. Always wonderful

This home is always beautifully presented and so ready for us to de-stress and holiday. We've been several times now throughout the year. The kids spend hours in the pool and the yard is gorgeous. It's perfect for two families and we've made many wonderful meals and sat around the firepit. The neighbourhood's lovely to wander through and the beach 1min away is both family friendly but also has sections of rockpools that keep us and the dog very happy.
