"Carlisle" - Acland Street Studio, St Kilda

This contemporary studio apartment is situated on the 1st floor of the stunning "The Face" building.

Step into this well appointed apartment and feel at home with lovey fittings and furniture, and split system heating/cooling. A fully equipped timber veneer kitchen with Caesar stone bench tops and with all cooking utensils and crockery provided.
It has a sparkling tiled bathroom with European laundry.

Stunning views from the balcony with double glazed glass doors.

Secure video-com entry, lift access and Secure onsite parking is available (for small to mid-sized cars) at $20/night. This is paid via EFT prior to arrival. Should you require parking please let us know in advance. Please ask us about alternate options for SUVs or larger.

Great location, great transport options.

Two tram routes pass the door and ample parking is available nearby. Loved having our dog stay with us. Cafes, restaurants and shopping just steps away in St Kilda’s famous Acland Street.

Fantastic & surprisingly quiet stay

We loved our stay in this apartment. It had everything we needed. Check-in was friendly and helpful, location is amazing with a lovely view of St Kilda’s hustle and bustle and we loved being able to have our dog stay with no fuss. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Excellent Apartment

An excellent apartment for our six day stay. Very central to trams and excellent restaurants and the Palais Theatre. We felt some teaspoons in the cutlery drawer would have been good and towel rails in the bathroom as there was no where to hang wet towels. The managers were very attentive and pleasant to any concerns we had. We will certainly stay here in future visits to Melbourne.

Fantastic location

This was my home away from home for a whole month while I worked away. The location was brilliant, as a solo traveller I felt safe and loved that the beach was a 3 minute walk away. everything I needed was on my doorstep, Yuri and the team at Wedge espresso at the bottom of the building are lovely, and I was easily welcomed and made to feel at home by the hosts. There was a tiny fault with the toilet which they fixed before I even had time to report it, so they're really proactive and on the ball. Would recommend if you need somewhere to stay in St Kilda.

St. Kilda Apartment

It was a great experience from start to finish. The host was great to work with especially being that it was my first time in Australia. They were super accommodating, very friendly, and very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. I would definitely recommend it to anyone as the location was amazing for walking to all the local stores, the beach, and great restaurants! I really can’t recommend it enough! It was a perfect size apartment for just myself with great amenities included. I definitely plan on going back soon and using this host again!

great location

The property was nice enough, but needs better maintenance. The air con was dirty and could only be turned on by using the rcd switch. inside the closet was dusty and dirty. only one downlight working in the bathroom, the drain in the shower looked like it had something growing in it, as did the shower air vent. No teaspoons. Fantastic location and lovely hostts which mad up for a lot.

Right in the middle of the action!

Totally loved our 3 nights stay at St Kilda. This apartment is great, in a fantastic location with everything you could want at your doorstep. We went to a concert at the Palais and we just walked there it’s so close. Supermarkets, great restaurants, thr beach and cafes all within steps from the front door. Easy to get there by skybus then tram, with the stop 1 min walk away. Great instructions on how to get there. Double glazed doors which shut everything out if you want some time out from sitting on the lovely balcony watching the world go by. Great security building. Only thing was we had to clean the balcony which had lots of cigarette ash all over it but that was easy and quick to do. Worst part about staying here was that we had to leave. Definately be back ASAP! Thank you.

Ideal location

Came for the F1 Grand Prix - would have been a perfect position! Was still a wonderful spot - close to all amenities, cafes & restaurants, trams and the airport skybus. Joe was a fantastic host, living next door meant he was able (and willing) to help out with small things like an extra coffee mug and advice about the local area. I did forget to mention to him that the lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim, but otherwise highly recommended. It is only a small studio apartment, so I understand bed space is limited - it’s been a while since we slept in a standard double, so may not return ourselves, but don’t let that put you off, it was still very comfortable.

Property is located close to everything! Building is modern and secure. Our room was super clean and well equipped. Easily ranks as the most comfortable place we have stayed. Joe was an incredible host and was available instantly to answer our questions. Or help us get tram tickets. The only negative is that there is no WiFi in the room- but that just gave us an excuse to go to one of the many coffee shops nearby. Can’t go wrong here- enjoy!
