About this property

The Cottage - Penong

The Cottage is a quaint premises located within the township of Penong. Boasting 2 spacious bedroom the master bedroom with a queen bed and 2nd bedroom with 2 singles. This whole house has been newly renovated in 2015. The kitchen is fully equipped , including a dining table to seat 6 you will be provided with breakfast provisions for your stay. Or if cooking doesn't much fancy you, the local hotel is a 2 minute walk down the street.

Penong has at its door step some of SA's most beautiful beaches for both fishing and surfing, only a 20 minute driving on an unsealed road will get you there. We are also the home to the third hole of the Nullabour links golf course "Windmills", the golf course is a great way to bide time while traveling across our beautiful country.

Lovely two night stay

Comfortable and well maintained home with lots of charm and all the modern amenities. Wonderful hosts - we especially enjoyed the breakfast spread. We had a lovely time in Penong and surrounds. Would stay again!

Lovely cottage

The cottage has been beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished. It is presented very well with everything you might need. We spent two nights there and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Penong area and appreciated the comfortable lodging.

Beautifully restored in keeping with the period of the property. Lots of small touches to make you feel at home, including robes, slippers, after dinner drinks. Great collection of local books to improve your knowledge of the area and its rich history. The location is convenient to everything. Highly recommend.

Perfect in Penong .

Penong Cottage is an absolute delight. I have never stayed in a better appointed, or presented, BnB. Accomodation of this standard in such a remote country town, is just not something you expect to find! Penong Cottage is the perfect base from which to visit the Whale Centre at Head of the Bight and to enjoy the spectacular whale -watching Cruise at Fowlers Bay. Don’t miss Cactus Beach while you are there!

Beautiful Cottage

A lovely place to stay on our trip to see the whales in Fowlers Bay ( EP Cruises also fantastic) The cottage is well equipped and decorated Comfortable bed... you do get the trucks going past but slept through that! Heating in the living rooms and bedrooms. Also fabulous breakfast supplies.

A beautiful place to stay to visit the Nullarbor

A comfortable place to stay, with all the amenities. Not far from Cactus Beach, and other lovely attractions. We drove to the Bight and back in a day. Although on the main road, the traffic noise was not a concern.

Such a beautiful place to stay in the small town Penong

We were traveling with princess loving 4years old daughter and super charged crawler 11months old baby boy. We definitely prefer big space for us to stay while we were visiting this town. Lovely cottage experience and it was very interesting that whole town knew we are coming! Really feeling welcomed from owner as well as town people while we were staying there. If we going to visit Penong again, will definitely trying to stay there again. Thanks for the beautiful experience :)
