Relaxing

We had a great holiday in Port Mac. The town is really lovely. The house was easy to find, clean and lovely for our family stay. It was great to find somewhere we could bring our dog. Highly recommended property

Relax and enjoy

Our group had a lovely stay in Port MacDonnel. The house was the perfect size for the group and well set up. Carol was friendly and very quick to respond to any questions. Was great to walk into a warm and welcoming house after a long drive. Thank-you.

Lots of space for family

Our first impression of this house was a little disappointing as the advertised sea views were exaggerated. The sea is there and you can see it of course but it’s glimpses over rusty rooftops. The stairs are very steep and irregular and took some getting used to and made unpacking a real chore. That top step is a real challenge. The fridge and freezer contained other people’s leftovers which we had to clean out before we could pack our own food away. There was no Foxtel sport, live Tv didn’t work and the PlayStation didn’t work. We had one towel provided for 5 of us. Our host did her best to sort out the technology issues and we soon had the footy on and a new tv antenna installed within a couple of days. Host told us where we could locate extra towels in a locked cupboard so a phone call had that sorted soon too. The house was a great size for our family and gave everyone plenty of space. The beds were very comfy and the spa was huge. The kitchen was well equipped though all pans could do with replacing. Dishwasher and stove worked well. To summarise I would say that the house itself was as advertised except for the ocean views (though overpriced I think for the time of year we were there) and once we overcame the above issues we did enjoy our stay in Port Mac

Home away from home

This property has all the comforts of home with some added extras. It is big enough to fit 10 people comfortably. They have catered for everyone. Mum can have a nice relaxing spa while the kids have plenty of gaming options and a pool table to entertain them. You would not be disappointed with this property. Wake up to the sound of the ocean and admire it from the balcony that overlooks the sea. I would defiantly stay again.

Excellent property

Enjoyed the stay at Port Macdonnell and the house was comfortable, clean and generally well equipped. Carol was also a pleasure to talk to. Areas for improvement... 1. The cooking pans are in poor condition and needs to be replaced. 2. There is no place in the rooms to hang or keep our clothes. Would be great if the owner could supply clothes racks and hangers in each room as a minimum. Other than that, it was all good. Regards, Terence

Comfortable house in great location

This house was the perfect size for our party of 8 - even when it was raining, it was comfortable with all of us playing games and hanging out inside for the day. The house is really well presented and has pretty much all you will need. When there were a couple of bits and pieces missing (two towels and the Wii controllers) Carol had them delivered straight away with no hassles. Communication was really prompt and easy. The town itself is a lovely sleepy little place and is near some truly spectacular coast line. We also went snorkelling at Ewen Ponds nearby, which we all agreed was the highlight of the trip - a must do if you stay here. Another must do is to bring along your own drinking water - the Port Macdonnell water is not good!! We had a great time at Seascape, and I can highly recommend it as a place to stay (we loved the spa!). Thanks Carol for being such a responsive host.

Beautiful Place

We loved staying at Seascape at Port MacDonnell. It is beautifully decorated and generous provisions are provided for your stay. The beds are comfortable and the kids really enjoyed the gaming consoles and the pool table. The beach is in close proximity to the accommodation which provided beautiful views throughout the day.
