Its the perfect location for your families retreat with a patrolled beach and bus stops a short stroll away.

Welcoming and well-lit, this double storey home boasts an open plan kitchen/living/dining area, main queen bedroom & ensuite downstairs, whilst upstairs features an additional open plan living tv area, a further 2 bedrooms- Queen & Single with an adjoining bathroom, shower and toilet.

Comfort is guaranteed during your Summer or Winter escape, this well appointed immaculate home is air conditioned and heated throughout.

Outdoors offers a paved bar-b-que area surrounded by manicured lawns, a quiet, private escape for you to enjoy in the heart of Ocean Grove.
(At this point in time 'Gable Grove' does not accommodate any pets.)

For your convenience each bed has a Doona, Doona Cover, Pillows, Pillow and mattress protectors provided. Please BYO bed linen -bottom & top sheet & pillow cases- unless you would like us to provide bed linen for an additional charge of $20.00 per person- please advise us no later than 2 weeks prior to your stay.

Whilst we encourage guests to BYO Bath towels/mats, these too can be provided for an additional charge of $15.00 per person- please advise us no later than 2 weeks prior to your stay.

Beautiful Holiday House,
We loved the house plan. For four adults and a three year old. We used the laundry tub to bath the toddler. Only missing some books and kids toys. Otherwise BYO. Every thing else is PERFECT. We will stay again and again and again

Great location in Ocean Grove
We had a great stay in this very comfortable house in Ocean Grove that had all the facilities we needed, including excellent air conditioning on a 38 degree day.The house shares the site with another house but is at the rear so was very quiet at night.Our host was REALLY helpful in assisting us with a problem we had at our end with our email address. This involved contacting Stayz on our behalf - it was very much appreciated! Many thanks Cherie - we had a great stay.

We stayed for two weeks in Gable Grove and it was as good as ever. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and always have a great time. Excellent location, house spotless and everything we need for our family holiday

Perfect location in Ocean Grove
This property was as described. Great location with a major supermarket only a short distance away and the main street only slightly further. The interior was clean, roomy and came with modern appliances. Parking virtually outside the front door. Bedding was comfortable and the bathrooms were a good size. Highly recommended.

Restful weekend in Ocean Grove in this beautiful home. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Right in the centre of Ocean Grove, this is the perfect place to stay.

Beware the dodgy host may try and charge you 10 days later
After having a great 2 days at the house, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to have a claim for an extra $200 raised against me, for breaking the fridge door handle 10 days after we had left (this would not happen on that other accommodation website). Yes that’s right 10 days later. We DID NOT break the handle!!! I immediately tried to dispute this claim (which is in progress 2024-03-07) I know that the Stayz conditions allow a complaint against the tenant to be lodged up to 14 days after the stay, but it is ridiculous that an extra charge can be added without any proof. The way I see it, in order to prove that I (or one of my friends/family) have allegedly damaged the fridge door handle, 3 things would need to be provided. 1. A photo of the damage. 2. An explanation of why the cleaner (or whoever cleaned the house after we left) took 10 days to notify the host, and 3. proof that nobody else has stayed in the house since us…. otherwise how can you say that the damage was caused by us and not by the subsequent tenant/s. Lastly… I am rather DISAPPOINTED, in this whole affair, because it frames me as being deceitful and dishonest, as well as rough and clumsy with the property. I know the handle was not damaged by myself or the people I stayed with, simply due to the fact, that if something had happened to the handle, while we are there, I would have notified you (host) after departing.

Always great staying at Gable Grove. Fantastic location, nice to be there outside of school holidays so was a bit quieter. Communication with Cherie is always fantastic. Look forward to returning next year

Suberb!
Cherie is a fabulous host. The property is immaculate and you can't get a better location. Great for 2 couples as there are 2 queen beds and 2 bathrooms. Nice outdoor space to enjoy a cup of tea, a glass of wine and BBQ. Walk everyone you need to only ..... 2 minutes to the main street! If you're heading to Ocean Grove, do yourself a favour and book this place!

My two mates and I absolutely loved our stay at Garden Grove. Spacious, clean and comfortable all in walking distance to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Would definitely return!

Had a wonderful stay. Home is in the perfect location, 100 meters to shopping strip and cafes and 500m to surf beach. Home is well appointed with comfy beds. Cherie was a fantastic host and great communicator. Definitely recommend this property, fantastic value for money.
