Luxury Country Getaway at Roaring Creek Farm on 17 acres with beautiful views, 3 miles to Leipers Fork Village & 7 Miles to downtown Franklin, Dog & Horse friendly. The ranch style home home offers peace, comfort and tranquility, with a cozy rustic interior, 1 master king bed and 1 queen-sized bed & 2 full baths, wifi and satalite TV. Take walks around the farm, hikes in the woods, enjoy farm fresh eggs and fresh vegetables when in season from the garden. In the evening, the property is a stargazing paradise, as there is no light pollution. Enjoy reading and relaxing on the front porch while watching the horses grazing.

IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR HORSES - WELCOME! We have private paddocks, stalls and outdoor arena available. Wonderful Trail riding close by at The Natchez Trace, Percy Warner Park & Bowie Nature Park. We offer full care service if you bring your horses with stalls and private paddocks. All horses require a negative coggins.

For your safety, outside surveillance devices around the perimeter of the house are used for security purposes.

Beautiful stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautifully decorated and clean home on the farm. Fields of green, horses, donkeys, wild turkeys, it was an absolute serene stay. Jane and her daughter Hunter were very communicative and such a gracious hosts. Our two year old daughter still asks to “go back to the farm”. We all had a blast.

A Tranquil Horse-Lover’s Paradise
Our stay at this property was simply enchanting! Surrounded by picturesque countryside, we were greeted by the most magnificent horses. Our family had the delightful opportunity to give treats to these gentle creatures. The host’s warm hospitality made for a pleasant stay. We can’t wait to return!

Franklin Stay
The views are certainly beautiful. The location is about 20 minutes to downtown Franklin. I stayed there with my dogs and chose this property due to it having good walking areas for the pups. But the first day we headed out to the back lawn to walk, I discovered a bunch of large, deep holes in the lawn - they are covered over with grass so they are very easy to miss and very easy to step into, which I did, since you can't see them, they present quite a danger. We stopped walking back there due to that. We were able to find safer walks down the street - or we went to the downtown Franklin area.

This was the perfect escape from NYC for us! The girls loved the horses, hearing the frogs and night and - as a bonus - a cardinal that tapped on the front window every morning to say hi. Home was clean and lovely. Hope to return one day soon.

A little slice of Paradise
Our first time at this magical oasis ! Jane and James have created a lovely space . We loved rocking on the front porch watching the horses and Donkeys at play. The on line description was spot on and we wanted for nothing. We plan to be back . It was a wonderful 3 days!

Great place for a getaway!
We loved our stay at this property! Everything is as described and more. The owners are responsive and right next door if anything is needed. That being said, the property is private and secluded enough that you feel like you are on your own ranch with donkeys and horses! Thank you!

You will love this house
We loved EVERYTHING about this beautiful house, the picturesque grounds, the location, the amazing view from the living room and porch, and the horses! We had such a peaceful and relaxing time there, albeit far too short. The beds were super comfy, thick fluffy towels, beautifully appointed furniture and decor. The house truly lived up to the listing name and if anything the pictures did not do this home justice. Jane and James are wonderful hosts, always quick to respond, and we are so grateful that they welcomed us (and our big German Shepherd who also LOVED this place!) into their home.

This is our second time staying at Roaring Creek Farm. It is such a beautiful property. The horses, mini horses and donkeys are such a joy to engage with. Our stay was relaxing, and the home has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. James and Jane are wonderful hosts and see to your every need. We definitely intend to stay with them again on our next trip to Tennessee!

Perfect Country Getaway
This is a beautiful little farm! We enjoyed waking up in the morning to have our coffee on the porch while watching the horses. We especially loved interacting with and feeding them. The house was quaint and functional with the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. Nashville is an easy drive without having to be near the busy bustle.

A piece of heaven on earth!
We were in Nashville for business and wanted a quieter escape and booked with Jane and James in Franklin, TN. As soon as we pulled in we knew this was going to be a wonderful stay! The beauty of the landscape and horses everywhere! The cottage itself is simply adorable and was a perfect layout for our family and dogs. There were so many birds singing and visiting daily! We had a mourning dove fly onto the porch and sit on a lamp to watch us and say hello! The horses are majestic and so friendly! Our dogs were in awe of these giant, gentle creatures!! We fed them carrots each morning! Such a treat!! We highly recommend staying with Jane & James’ home if you are searching for serenity, peace, nature, quaintness and beautiful equestrian scenery! A true piece of heaven! Thank you for opening your home to us, we loved it! ❤️

Concert weekend
Booked the Spring House for the weekend based on horse farm and pet friendly features. We ended up not taking our fur baby but he would have loved the expansiveness of lawn and horses. We sure enjoyed the peacefulness and calm of this farmhouse! Convenient to many historic attractions and gorgeous horse and livestock country, not to mention 35” ride to Nashville! Best of both worlds! We’ll be back!
