About this property

Modern apartment right in front of Hallgrimskirkja - Great Location !

Our apartment is located right in front of one of the most popular landmarks Reykjavik, the church Hallgrimskirkja. Einar Jonsson Sculpture Museum is also just few meters away. Skólavörðustígur is just around the corner, there you find small grocery store called Krambúðin and its open to midnight, Boutique stores, Restaurants and Bars. After you walk down Skólavörðustígur for like 5-600 meters then you are at our Main Street Laugavegur. So everything that Reykjavik has to offer is in walking distance from our apartment.

Our apartment has two bedrooms, the master bedroom has King size bed, the second bedroom has a very nice Bunk Bed with double bed (140x200 cm ) in lower level and single bed ( 90x200cm) in upper level. In the living room we have a single bed ( 90x200cm ) and slepping sofa also. The apartment and the whole building was recently renovated. This apartment is on the second floor and has balcony from the second bedroom. We have private parking outside / under the building. If you planning on taking tours then bus stop number 8 is just across the street next to the church Hallgrimskirkja.

We have baby crib and high chair for your children.

We provide linen, towels and soap etc.

We manage over 100 properties here in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and also few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik. We also offer long term renting.

Perfect location for an amazing Reykjavik visit!

Our entire travel party of 17 rented out all 4 apartments, and it was perfect for us. So convenient to everything we wanted to get to in Reykjavik, and walkable to shops, sights, and plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location

Centrally located and easy walk to restaurants, grocery store and shops. Having a parking spot right under the unit was prefect. The view of the church is amazing. Just like it’s shown in the online listing. The church bells are beautiful and go off every 15 minutes

Very clean and comfortable flat. All four adults slept comfortably, beds and linens were highest quality. Incredible location and very responsive host. The first day we were the the hair dryer stopped working--our host had a new one for us within an hour! Did I mention the view of the church?--spectacular. The location to the church, downtown, bus stop--I would highly recommend. Thank you Kjartan

Awesome Location!

Loved staying in the heart Reykjavík for our first trip to Iceland! Our Host was very helpful and took care of any questions we had. The location could not be better. We had the time of our lives and got to experience amazing restaurants without the hassle of needing a car. Everything in walking distance, people where kind and generous. And the most beautiful view of Hallgrimskirja!

Großes Appartement, zentral gelegen

Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Persönliche Begrüßung und Schlüsselübergabe, schnelle Kommunikation. Es war alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Wir hätten uns mehr Teller und Gläser gewünscht sowie mehr Sauberkeit in Küche und Bad. Bedingt durch die zentrale Lage ist manchmal Lärm zu hören, für uns war es erträglich. Der große Vorteil ist die wirklich zentrale Lage, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind einfach und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Busse (für Touren oder zum Flughafen) fahren direkt gegenüber bei der Kirche ab. Wer mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, kann einen überdachten Abstellplatz nutzen, die Wohnung ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Eine Bäckerei ist in wenigen Gehminuten entfernt, ebenso ein kleiner Supermarkt. Ein Restaurant mit guter Küche ist das KOL, das ebenfalls gleich um die Ecke liegt. Es werden verhältnismäßig preisgünstige Menüs in guter Qualität angeboten. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt in Reykjavik und können dieses Appartement empfehlen.

Lovely apartment in the perfect location.

Lovely property, with free parking and really easy to find. Location is great and property warm and very clean with plenty of towels and kitchen equipment, plus beds, pillows and duvets are super comfy. View of church is superb - would definitely stay again.

Fabulous location, impeccable apartment

This was a PERFECT place to stay in Reykjavik! I rented this for myself and my parents for a week, and it was just the right size. Slightly smaller than the photos suggest, but fine for three people who were mostly out exploring during the day. The views are as-advertised, right in front of the church - which also makes it easy for pick-up for any day tours as bus stop number 8 is right at the church (a two minute walk). It's a 5-10 minute walk straight into the heart of the city. The only downside was that if you leave the windows open you can hear EVERYTHING that happens on the street below, and it's a fairly busy walking area. But if you close them it's negligible. Well appointed, a kitchen with dishwasher and the basics. Kjartan was responsive. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this place!

Great location!

The apartment is in a excellent location, you can walk to the Main Street with tons to restaurants and shopping and more importantly you get a fantastic view of the church. The place is close to bus stop #8 which is super convenient in case one decides to take guided tours. The apartment is clean, comfortable, modern with plenty of amenities. The host was very helpful and always a phone call way to help.

This was a great home base for our recent trip to Reykjavík. The apartment is wonderfully clean and well appointed. Dealing with Kjartan was convenient and easy. This is in the perfect location. Absolutely recommend!!

Great clean apartment in the heart of it all

My family of 4 had a great time in Þórsgata Green, easily popping in and out of downtown Reykjavik, and of course being as close to Hallgrímskirkja as one could be. Easy check in/out process, very clean as well, and onsite parking was a plus.

Great apartment in a great location!

This was a perfect sized apartment for 3 people (a couple and a single). Location could not be more convenient for central Reykjavík. Free onsite parking was a huge benefit for the location as well. Kjartan was a very gracious and accommodating host. All in all a great holiday in Iceland!

Gorgeous apartment with beyond perfect location

We absolutely loved this apartment. It has the most gorgeous view and is perfectly located within less than a minute walk to anything you need. The apartments amenities more than met expectations. The WiFi was strong and reliable. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with anything one could need to cook. We appreciated the decor and homey touches that made the stay so comfortable. The parking spot was convenient and easy. Check in/out was a breeze. We appreciated the recommendations and extremely fast communication with the owner.
