Fantastic, as good as I remembered
We first stayed here four years ago, and then I said I would be back. We finally made it back, and the experience was fantastic. We loved the Christmas Pudding on the highway. :) It was Perfect for getting away and being disconnected from the world. The bowling club in Frankland is a place to eat and is of great value for money. Go hungry; the portions are large. It's about 10-15 mins away.

Cute cabin
The owners should add the word ‘eco’ to the cabin and then could charge $50 more a night! Great property although a map of the property in the cabin would have been helpful for us to know where we could walk.

Perfect country getaway
Spent 5 nights at Frankland River Retreat. The cabin is perfect for anyone wanting to escape to the country. We stayed in the winter and the cabin was surprisingly warm. An excellent location for day trips to different places around the Great Southern and South-West.

About the host

Hosted by Jade Cottee

Host profile image
I’m Jade and I am the very proud, happy and lucky owner of Frankland River Retreat. Anyone who has stayed here will no doubt agree with that description.

In 2004 I fulfilled my dream of owning a country property where my kids could run free, swim in the river, get muddy and generally muck about in the country without the restrictions, appreciate nature, wildlife and of course see ALL the stars at night.

Fast forward quite a few years and this was a place I needed to share. To bring as much joy to others as it brings to me.
I knew I couldn't let it sit idle and that's why, in 2007, I started to share my place as a holiday house. I started listing on Stayz back in 2017 and have enjoyed hosting and in 2014 added the Cabin to the property, initially for a studio and extra space for additional guests.

Directions and Information of the local area is provided and I am also happy to help guests with any questions about their stay or the area.
Frankland River Retreat is a special place and its great to share with others to enjoy.
I like hosting and enjoy receiving positive feedback and suggestions from guests Hearing of guests pleasant experience during their stay at Frankland is very rewarding .

Communicating with guests is important to me, I send instructions and directions along with entrance key code and I am contactable to answer any queries or to provide information about the area.

You will find Frankland River relaxing & peaceful. The area is best know for wineries, vineyards and olive plantations.

I'm sure you will have a great stay.
I'm looking forward to read your great review.

Regards

Jade
