DOG POLICY:
Your friendly furry friend is welcomed! The pathway is a fenced dog area. We will accept one housebroken, crate-trained medium or small well-behaved dog for an additional fee of $200. Please let us know your dog's breed, age, and weight. We do not accept cats or puppies or any other kind of animal.

VISITOR POLICY:
The property is exclusively for your enjoyment. If you plan to have a daytime visitor, please discuss this with us at the time of booking, and we would be happy to consider your request if you have family in town.

Peaceful getaway
Virtually everything we needed was available. Beds are extremely comfortable, spacious, well-stocked kitchen, everything was clean and extremely well maintained. The location made it easy to get to our destinations. The wrap around porch was a favorite hangout with plenty of seating and a beautiful back yard view. Clear and concise communication with owners set our expectations and it did not disappoint

Wonderful Family Getaway
The views are spectacular, the house is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. The location was perfect, easy access to restaurants, downtown Charleston and entertainment. The adult kids enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. Very relaxing!

Perfect location
We chose this location due to the access to the river and its proximity to all fun things to do around. It did not disappoint! We loved everything about the house and property. Theres great crabbing off the dock! Locals also say when tide is coming in and going out is the best time fo fish that area. George was super helpful with check in and and with any questions and issues we had!

Gather inside and outside for a wonderful stay
Our eight-night stay truly seemed like a vacation for our family. The multiple gathering and eating areas inside and out allowed us to beat the heat, run on the grass, BBQ, sit in porch rocking chairs, wander out to the dock, and sit and watch the marsh and its occasional cargo ships heading in and out of the Wanda terminal. And it was 10 minutes to Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant and about 10-15 minutes to downtown Charleston. The home is beautiful, well equipped, had comfortable beds, and the kitchen had whatever you would need. Thanks, Laurie and George for a wonderful stay!

Work/Fun Weekend
This is my second stay in this beautiful home. Everything you need is provided...I travel a lot for work and this home is one that I will continue to return to when work brings me to the Charleston area. The perfect place to unwind and relax, but close enough to everything to enjoy all the sights, sounds, and food that the area has to offer!

Nice alternative to downtown Charleston
We really enjoyed the property and everything it had to offer. The property is maintained very well and the location is perfect. We could get to downtown Charleston within minutes as well as other desirable spots.

This was a beautiful home in a convenient location for us. Our daughter was getting married at a nearby venue and this home provided beautiful pictures before the wedding. It was very relaxing to stay here

Wonderful visit and a great location
Six of us were there only 4 nights and we all wish it could have been longer. The house was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. The owners’ residence is on the same property, but there was total privacy. We never knew anyone was there unless we needed some help. It’s a fine setup.

Only a short hop into Charleston just over the bridge ! This house is super convenient to Charleston and great restaurants. And the beach of Sullivan's Island is just 6 miles down the road. Truly a "perfect location". Gorgeous surroundings plus the dock. This property is encircled by water and marsh, and has water views of the creeks, the rivers, and the marshes. The water views and the tidal changes really make this property spectacular. It is all about the fabulous waterfront location, the ebb and flow of the tides, the natural wildlife, and the privacy, combined with a comfortable savvy home.
