The Perfect Kauai Getaway!

Hale Maluhia is a large, fully equipped condominium/studio unit fronting on a tree lined walking path leading down to Anini Beach. It has a large, well equipped kitchenette, Queen size bed, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, a full bath, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear and a portable cooler (no laundry facilities though). The lanai is perfect for stargazing or just enjoying some quiet outdoor reading. There's reserved parking, a great pool area with a communal barbecue, and shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. Stays are limited to a maximum Stays are limited to a maximum of 2 adults (over 25 years old) and 7 nights. Princeville at Hanalei's location is conveniently close to Kilauea, Hanalei and the rest of Kauai's North Shore's numerous beaches and features. Given it's size, location and amenities, Hale Maluhia is by far Princeville's best bargain. E komo mai!

Trip to Kauai

We loved our time in Kauai and in the Paniolo condos. The room was clean and Rick had all the kitchen supplies you could need. One piece of advice, read through the red folder when you check in. It wasn’t until the morning we left that I realized we had snorkel equipment in a box on the porch and I never got to use it!

Rick was really responsive when we had a request. He let us check in early. The humidity caused us to need to hit a laundry facility half way through because the towels don’t dry very fast. An extra big POWERFUL fan would make it a little more comfy but it did cool down enough at night to sleep with the fans provided. Overall a really great stay, especially for the price. Location is nice. Thank you for the great stay.

Absolutely perfect!

My husband and I just spent 7 days here. The host, Rick, is true to his word about wanting to create a space that is restful, well equipped, and comfortable. We cooked full meals here using the toaster oven and hot skillet, enjoyed coffee on the porch, and loved walking to the beach that was just 8 minutes away. Would highly recommend staying here - it was quiet, felt safe, and a great distance from a lot of good adventure opportunities. Thank you for an awesome week on Kauai!

I traveled much of the world and found myself on Kauai in 1979. I knew the minute I arrived that I was home. I continued to vacation on Kauai yearly and finally decided to move to Kauai full time in 1986. I moved to the mainland in 2010 to explore the U.S., but Kauai stayed on my mind and in 2015 I came "home".

Why they chose this property

I looked at the numerous options available and decided that at this stage in my life a condo would be the best thing for me. Paniolo offers a great location and amenities such as an on-site pool, a trail down to Anini Beach and the convenience of being just minutes away from world class beaches, numerous outdoor activities, shopping, a library and park.

What makes this property unique

The quiet location and proximity to the North Shores numerous wonderful beaches, shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities offers something for everyone. I recently added a large kitchenette, refurbished the bathroom and added a privacy wall to separate the sleeping area from the dining and entertainment areas. I've tried hard to provide everything you'll need to have a safe and enjoyable getaway. It's the perfect getaway for either a single traveler or couple. E Komo Mai!
