Welcome to our newly remodeled coastline home. Located in a desirable community of Venice Garden. Several beautiful beaches such as Venice, Manasota and Sharky's are located only few miles away. The Historic Venice Avenue of unique shops, exceptional restaurants, special events, Farmers Market, tennis court and Children's Fountain as well as Legacy Trail bike path (Sarasota to Venice) are close by. This ideal vacation home with swimming pool sits in a quite, peaceful area making it an ideal place for any season gateway. This is a great place for biking, running and walking. You will love my home because it can accommodate couples, solo adventures or families with kids. Finally, if you are animal lover, you can enjoy seeing a variety of birds on the property including the ibis, heron, and snowy egret.

Perfect home base for our time in venice

Absolutely perfect

We really enjoyed our time staying here and only wish it was longer. This was the cleanest house I have ever rented. The bedrooms were large and the mattresses were so comfortable. The pool was definitely the star. We enjoyed sitting poolside and swimming all day long. Can’t say enough good things. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again.

Great vacation home.

Jan was great to rent from and his property is very nice. All the special details in the house make it feel like home. The large pool was wonderful and solar heated. The neighborhood was quiet and the back yard is very private.

Nice family style home in quiet neighborhood.

House is just as described. Not luxury but well maintained. Pool is relaxing and clean. Host was responsive to inquiries. Jan (he/him) initally came off as a bit overbearing, but that was probably just a misunderstanding of the situation. We encountered a bit of a language barrier but we got everything worked out and we hope the a/c issue was just a temporary fluke. We enjoyed our weekend and it was nice to be within just a few minutes of beaches, good restaurants and not too far from several neat attactions. Highly recommend a day at The Ringling (about 30-40 min drive). reported.

I was spoiled!

My retirement gift to myself was to test the waters of being a snowbird (for two weeks) ! Venice and Englewood have great downtowns, restaurants and beaches! The VRBO house is beautiful! the neighborhood is very quiet. the pool is perfection! Jan thought of everything to make our stay stress-free. Obviously he’s a perfectionist! Jan has six properties! I think I rented the best but I’ll never know unless I try them all!

We loved it!

The property was just how described. The house was clean and cool when we entered. The check-in/out process was very easy. The bathrooms and showers were large and very clean and we really enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/silverware/coffee maker etc. There were beach chairs and beach towels available as well. We really enjoyed our stay. We only had two small issues. The stove top burners were not working properly when we went to use them the first time. We contacted the host about the issue and they fixed it very quickly, the host actually replaced the stove for us! The mattress in the main bedroom was a little too soft for our liking. Not a major issue, just a preference. We would stay here again, no doubt about it. We would recommend this property to family and friends as well.

Very clean inside but needs some cleaning up outside

Booked our stay in Venice. Was skeptical about the neighborhood because of no photos of the outside of the home. Drove up and my wife said oh no. I said lets look. The neighborhood is a mix of well kept small homes and some real dogs. This home is clean and lovely on the inside and the pool area is great but the initial impression left us wondering about our decision. The lawn and outside needs some TLC. The inside of the home is really nicely done and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay here in Venice. The home is well equipped and very clean inside. Close to the beach.

Ideal location & gorgeous pool

Super comfy house with everything you could need. In a lovely location and just a short drive from Venice town and many beaches. The only thing I’d suggest is a grill / BBQ, surprisingly there wasn’t one and whilst we just purchased a small charcoal one, it would be useful. We would certainly return!

Can’t say enough about this property or about Jan. It was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about it. Bright, clean and well maintained. Great location too. The house was fully equipped. The pool was large. We spent most of our time in the pool. Jan was attentive and friendly and he clearly cares about his renters. We look forward to renting from him again.

Nice, quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was located near stores, restaurants and only took about 10 minutes to drive to the beach. The outdoor screened lanai with pool was a lovely place to relax and we enjoyed time there when it was too chilly for the beach. It was very well stocked and plenty of necessary things like paper towels, toilet paper, etc were provided for the month's stay. We would have liked a bit more seating in the living room area but other than that, it was a great place to stay for a while!
