This is a very well-maintained BAYFRONT home in the popular Bayside at Bethany Lakes resort community. It has comfortable pillow top mattresses, furnishings from Bethany Resorts, and hardwood floors throughout. We have WiFI and four TVs (including 2 Smart TV’s and 2 LCD TVs), two stereos, and a gas fireplace! Also, we have two balconies/decks with amazing sunset views over the bay and comfortable Polywood furniture. The kitchen is well stocked and has new appliances.

We provide bed linens for our guests.

Our unit is bayfront with waterviews from the living room and kitchen, the upstairs loft area, and the bedroom with 2 twin beds. We are a short walk from the Clubhouse (about 100 yards). You can see the pool from our deck.

The living room is on the main floor with a powder room. Half a level up is our kitchen and Master Suite. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms and a full bath as well as the loft area. The washer & dryer are also upstairs. There are 2 decks - one off the living room and one off the upstairs loft. There are 2 dining areas - one table for 4 in the. kitchen and one table for 4 in the living room which is a half level down from the kitchen.

The Bayside at Bethany Lakes Clubhouse has excellent amenities (there's a huge great room with a gas fireplace, a sports bar area, and a commercial quality kitchen that owners & guests can use). There is an indoor & outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, sauna, game room with video games, ping pong, & pool table, locker rooms with shower facilities, gas grill by the outdoor pool, outside shower, and WiFi. There is also a kayak launch and picnic area just to the right of our building. There are tennis courts and a children's playground as well. No boring rainy days here! Best Clubhouse in Bethany Beach! Very nice family-oriented community. ** Clubhouse fee collected separately by the HOA - see last photo for rates. **

Close to beach, boardwalk, several golf courses, and grocery stores. Bayside at Bethany Lakes is about 1.5 miles from the Boardwalk area (near the intersection of Fred Hudson Rd and Cedar Neck Rd).

Gorgeous bay views

First Annie was awesome to work with. Bayside at Bethany lakes is a wonderful family vacation. My favorite part of our week was early morning coffee on the deck over looking the bay tranquil bird sanctuary and just so peaceful. The beach was a short drive and the pool and gym a short walk. There was something for everyone .Ocean View is our new favorite area so much so we may retire there in a few years. Thanks for a great week Annie

Perfect Getaway!!

We had an incredible week! The condo was clean, a great size for our needs and the view off the deck was gorgeous!! Communication with the owner was easy-she was responsive and helpful. The Bayside community is amazing. The pools, hot tub, fitness center and sunset gazebo add another level to the experience! The condo is close to the beach, golf and lots of restaurants. Highly recommend this condo!!

Gorgeous bayfron condo

This was our second time staying in this lovely two floor condo where you can enjoy gorgeous sunsets over the bay. The condo has everything you need and enough room for two families to stay. You also enjoy access for a fee to a great club with pool and gym and you are 10 min drive from downtown Bethany and its beaches. We have already booked our next stay! The owner Annie is incredibly responsive and helpful.

We had an awesome stay at this property. The owner had great communication from the day we selected it right in through the day that we checked out. Excellent Getaway

Great view

The house was beautiful however we were surprised that the walls and carpet were not very clean. Other than that it was great and there was plenty of space for everyone. The clubhouse and pool were awesome and very clean.

Beautiful location and wonderful stay!

We rented this property for our vacation the other week and could not have been happier. The property was clean when we arrived and the location is perfect. It’s close to the boardwalk and beach and the view of the bayside is fantastic. We enjoyed some amazing sunsets! The amenities are also great especially for little kids (ours are 6 and 3). We would spend mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool, which also has a wonderful view. The owners are great to work with and made everything very easy. Can’t say enough good things! We will definitely stay here again when visiting Bethany!

Gorgeous bay sunset. Grandchildren loved having outdoor and indoor pool/gameroom. Clean plenty of room. Nice having our own garage to use. Very convenient to downtown Bethany.

A quiet winter escape

A wonderful townhouse with an expansive view of marsh and bay. At this time of year, it was quiet and very relaxing. The house feels more like a home than a rental property. It is fully equipped and immaculately maintained.

Beautiful Property, Accommodating Owner!

My family and I stayed here for 6 days and enjoyed each one. Annie was extremely accommodating and attentive, and the house was everything we wanted and more. We will definitely be staying here again and will spread the word. We strongly recommend this property for a nice family vacation. As an added benefit you'll get front row seats to a beautiful sunset over the bay followed by a sky full of stars if it's a clear enough night!

Outstanding vacation venue

We rented this Unit in conjunction with our annual family reunion. The waterfront location of the condo at Bayside @ Bethany Lakes was ideal for our needs. The unit was located directly on Whites Creek facing West which afforded unobstructed sunset views across the marsh land and the creek. The unit was neat, clean and well appointed. It was very convenient to the beautiful community clubhouse, two pools, fitness center, kayak launch and day dock boat slips. The community itself is a short drive to the Bethany Beach boardwalk, area restaurants and many other attractions. The owner was most accommodating and very interested in providing excellent service. You can’t go wrong with this summer getaway ! John & Eileen

Relaxing week in July. The house was immaculate and welcoming. We had 5 teenagers well satisfied.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week catching up with family. Being able to sit on the porch and look out on the water was most relaxing, even when it rained on Wednesday. A good time was had by all in our group.

Our family really enjoyed our time at the house!

Spefically, we enjoyed having a "vacation" base of operations. We took advantage of the pool and clubhouse, had a cookout on the clubhouse grill, enjoyed the sunsets (and kids enjoyed the wifi). The kitchen was great, allowing us to save some cash by cooking ourselves! Lots of space for a family and friends - and the location was very convenient! We had a great time and would recommend this property to other families vacationing in Bethany!

Great property to rent!

We enjoyed our stay even though the threats of Hurricane Hermine hung over us. The lay out of the rental is ideal and the location is perfect. The sun sets from this property are breath taking. Best of all are the owners. They were always quick to respond and very helpful. We have rented a number of properties and found this one to be one of the best!! We would not hesitate to return.

Simply the best week ever!!

I almost hate writing a review because I would love to keep this little *gem!!* all to myself but BLESS THIS PRECIOUS OWNERS HEART she made our stay all the way from Spain the absolute BEST it could be!! All the helpful info such as restaurants and even where I could find fresh produce at the local farmers market (not those rotten tomatoes at the grocery store ;) ! This owner went above and beyond!! From sunrise to sunset we treasured every single second at this breathtaking property. We simply cannot wait to return. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful experience with this condo. The condo development was very nice, well-kept. The owners were great to deal with. The info provided before and during our vacation was extremely helpful. The condo was nice, clean and looked just like the pictures. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of space due to the layout. Information in regards to the condo, restaurants and Bethany (in general) were placed in areas that were easily seen. The views from the decks were beautiful. I especially liked the deck rocking chairs :) The TV/cable was not as user friendly as we would have liked but we managed. It's not an owner issue but a cable provider issue. The clubhouse/pool that we had access to (with a fee) was really nice. We used the pool almost every day. In summary, we had such a great experience over all and plan to rent again next year, but for a longer time.

Incredible vacation!!!!Incredible home!!! Incredible owners!!!

I must admit this was the very first time we have ever rented on VRBO and I was very skeptical... but after talking with Annie, just one time I felt like we were staying at a personal friend's vacation home. It was absolutely perfect! I still can't imagine that all properties listed here could possibly be as perfect as this home... but now at least I don't have to look any further... This will be "our vacation home" for many years to come!!! Where to begin... I guess that has to be the sunsets.... The sunsets were like waiting for the fire works to start each night. We made sure we were "home" to enjoy them...I just realized I wrote home and that is exactly how I felt. The town home was super comfortable, decorated so nicely, it was fresh and clean with plenty of room to relax and unwind. It had everything that we could need or want. The clubhouse almost made us wish for a rainy day... it is beautiful with so much to do. We loved the outdoor pool and almost felt guilty when choosing to forego the beach a couple of time to spend the day there...It was so much fun to cook out at the pool and enjoy the bay views from there. We loved to watch the sunsets from not only our porch but also from the sunset gazebo by the boat dock. My husband and son spent many mornings fishing from the dock and by the kayak launch. Bethany itself has such a beautiful beach. It is so convenient to park right next to the beach and be right on the boardwalk for a walk to the restroom or into town for lunch/shopping... I cannot say enough good things about this property! Thank you Annie and family for sharing your home with us!!! We can't wait to return!

Beautiful Bayside Location

This townhouse was a great location for a Bethany vacation. The bay view from the two decks was really beautiful and the sunsets were pretty spectacular-even better than the photos on this site. The house is very clean and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. They even had a very nice Pack’ n Play, feeding chair and changing table for a toddler which were helpful for our group. It was a very comfortable place to spend a relaxing week. The house is very conveniently located near Bethany beach but is also a good central location to visit the surrounding areas with a lot to do for both kids and adults. We also visited the state parks at Fenwick Island and Delaware Seashore for additional beach time and part of our group went on some day trips to Rehoboth/Milton for the Dogfish Head brewery tour and also to nearby Berlin, MD. Annie was so helpful and super responsive via email to any questions I had. Thanks for a fun vacation!! Even the neighbors were very nice.

Great spot for family fun!

Condo is very nice! Beds comfortable, kitchen nice, great deck. About 1/2 mile from pool, but community has a really nice pool. Convenient to downtown Bethany.

I am active in the vacation rental profession managing a large owner’s group and served on the Board of AVROA and also the HOA Board for my Virginia properties.

Why they chose this property

We love that Bethany Beach is so family-oriented. The beaches are beautiful, and there are shops in the Boardwalk area. The outlet stores in Rehoboth are a short drive away. We love Bayside at Bethany Lakes. The Clubhouse is what distinguished this property from all the others we looked at. The indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, and game room make even January a great time to visit the beach! In the summertime, the outdoor pool is great with bay views all around. In recent years, shops & restaurants stay open year round including a couple of excellent SoDel restaurants close by.

What makes this property unique

The sunsets views on the bay are unbelievable. When we saw the view, we knew this was the place for us. We often plan our schedule to be home at sunset time. It makes you never want to leave the beach.
