Four families with kids from 5 - 20 years old. We stayed in three of the variable lodging options Koko, Beautiful, and Four toes. Plenty of space despite a lot of people. Rustic feeling to some degree. Gym was closed when we were there but there is good hiking not too far away. We used the place as our base for skiing at Angel Fire but am could have skiied Red River (25 minutes away) or Taos (45) as well. The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies.
We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Anita's property. The place was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Anita was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. She gave us a detailed and friendly introduction to the area, which made our visit even more enjoyable. It's clear that she takes great care in maintaining the property and ensuring her guests feel at home. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future! As a side-note, Eagle Nest is a perfect place to stay for a ski trip in either Red River or Angel Fire - it is close to both places but without the crowd.

We really enjoyed our stay even looking at planing another stay for the next year. Quite and great location between Angle Fire and Red River. Everything was perfect.
Very clean and comfortable. There is a private back deck and patio with a gas grill. We stayed for two nights for fishing and birdwatching at the two local state parks. I especially recommend Cimarron Canyon state park- unbelievable scenery! We would not hesitate to stay at one of Anita’s properties again. She called me when we checked in to be sure everything was OK and see if we needed anything.
Nice clean place that was perfect for us to explore the Enchanted Circle and beyond. Anita is a great host who was quick to respond to our needs. Loved the wood stove at night - it made it warm and cozy. Eagle Nest has the best views on the circle.
We stayed for a month and it was mostly great. The only issue was that Anita and Curtis had workers come to stain the front and back porch while we were living there. They gave some notice before the work was done, but on occasion workers would show up outside of what we were told, which is a bit unsettling when they were working on the windows! Otherwise, it was a beautiful and quiet place to stay.
Great place to stay as we explored the Enchanted Circle. Anita was the perfect host, giving us pointers on side trips in the area, thanks for all your help.
Anita was a great host. She was always available to answer questions, make recommendations, etc. They even greeted us upon our arrival to make sure all of our questions were addressed. This was a perfect location for us to ski Red River, Angel Fire, and Taos over Christmas week. I would recommend this unit and would definitely stay again.
This property was perfect for our guys trip. A nice comfortable place to stay after a day of skiing.

We live right across the way and love the piece and quite along with the amazing views.
