The house was great. My kids loved having there own room and bathroom What a bonus. Location was great for all the offbeaten stuff we like to do.. Even my 15yr old daughter liked it so you know something is good when that happens. thanks bret
This farmhouse was great for our family of 10 - loved that the house had 5 BR and all KING beds! Lora was very attentive throughout our stay. It was a bit overcast/rainy while we stayed so we couldn't enjoy the fire pit as we had hoped. Beautiful mountains and explored waterfalls, Rangeley area, hiked the AT and enjoyed some nice restaurants. Most everything is at least 30 mins away but scenery is great. Saw moose/calf on our first day so that was fun. Thanks for a great stay.
We had 9 adults in our group this year. This house is setup perfect for a group of adults. 5 bedrooms all with King beds and 4 bathrooms it worked out great. The location is a bit far away but that’s what we like. Stores are about 20-25 minutes. restaurant are about the same. Scott and Lora are fantastic hosts and very quick to address any issue you may have. I would highly recommend you stay here and ride in this area. You won’t be sorry.
Lora was an excellent host! The farm house was beautiful, cozy, and everything we needed. 5 bedrooms and so many bathrooms, everyone had their own space and privacy. 25 min to Sunday river and beautiful views from the property. I wish there was a little more to do for young kids nearby but that’s on me for not looking into that I’m more detail. Loved our trip, thanks Lora!
Comfortable and cozy stay. Love to come back for more.
Recently renovated, very cleanly organized. Although ~25 min drive from ski area (Sunday River), but is worth the driving for the great lodging experience.
Wonderful clean home for a large group with big comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms, a great kitchen, and a working fireplace! The hosts are very conscientious and accessible and obviously love their renovated farm home. We would definitely stay again.
This lovely home was our final New England destination and we stayed here for the full month of August. The house was beautiful, large and immaculate, large bathrooms and bedrooms, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had all you could need for meal prep, the views and sunsets from the back deck after a day of exploring were fantastic and time around the fire pit was wonderful. You are surrounded by mountains, rivers, pastures and corn fields. The town of Andover was quaint, everyone was friendly and happy to offer suggestions for places to visit. Our hosts, Lora and Scott, were gracious, quick to respond if we had questions or concerns and offered many suggestions for spots to visit while in this area. If you visit this location, you will not be disappointed. If you have the opportunity to visit this quaint location, don’t miss a visit to the Rangely Lakes areas, Flat Rocks, Coos Canyons, Grafton Notch and all the waterfalls in this area. Stop in for a visit in Bethel and Norway. If you desire a day trip, you are only 2 hours from Portland, ME to explore this coastal area. This was the perfect spot to end our 2022 New England adventure! Love, love, loved our time here!
This property was amazing for our needs. A must for a group of couples looking to enjoy the amazing riding in this area that want a comfortable place. Our group of 7 which was a single and 3 couples all had our own bathrooms and every bedroom had a super comfy king size bed. Lots of room for us to gather and enjoy conversation in the kitchen dining area and comfortable furniture in the living area. The furthest rider in our group logged 2330 miles in total for his trip while everyone else was about 2100! Definitely an experience to talk about. I highly recommend this home. Thanks to Lora and Scott for the memories!
Nice location about 25 minutes from Sunday River. Big enough and comfortable for two families. Owners were great communicators and very helpful and friendly. Will look to book again when we go back to Sunday River. Thanks a lot!!
