Les Carroz d'Arâches, winter and summer tourist village resort, located at an altitude of 1100 m, 55 km from Chamonix and 40 km from Geneva.
Studio 20m², sleeping for 4 people (1 sofa bed for 2 people and 2 bunk beds for 1 person) 800 m from the village center, 10 minutes on foot (footpath), free shuttle in winter (next to the supermarket) for go to the slopes, 5 mins by car to go to the cable car. 100 m away, supermarket, petrol station, and sale of ski passes.
The studio is equipped with a dishwasher, mini-oven, microwave, ceramic hob with 2 fireplaces, 2 filter coffee makers and capsules (nespresso), kettle, toaster, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, fridge, TV with player. DVD, board games. NO WIFI at the studio.
In the village you will have the choice between snowshoes, ski-joëring, sled dogs, ice rink and a novelty since 2013 a pool-spa-fitness area, heated outdoor pool, 2 saunas, 1 hammam and a gym.
Ski locker. A pair of rackets with sticks
Disposable bedding kit at the price of 25 € for all 4 beds.
For the summer season, there is no shortage of activities, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, climbing, swimming, horse riding, paragliding, white water sports.

Tourist tax for 2019: 3% of the price of the night divided by the number of people present in the accommodation.

Ski trip to flaine
The apartment is clean and tidy and the owner was very nice when I met her, bit of a language problem but we got through that no problem, handy to have a spar shop across the road and La Carroz is less than a mile away, very quite position, I enjoyed my stay

Small but lovely
We stayed over New Years with my family of 4, 2 adults and a 6 and 8 year old. The apartment was very small for the 4 of us but we made it work and it was exactly as advertised so can’t complain for the price we paid. Just a 5 minute walk from the Spar and bus stop which has pretty regular busses up to the town centre and the gondola. There was also a path through the woods which took about 10-15 minutes to walk to the town centre but this was incredibly icy and dangerous. The host Marie was excellent with her communication and checking in was very simple. A great little stay with my family.

Nous avons passés de bonnes vacances au calme dans cet appartement où tout est prévu. Les navettes pour se rendre à la télécabine ou au centre ville sont très pratiques. Nous reviendrons dans cette location avec plaisir.

J'ai passé une très bonne semaine aux Carroz. Le studio est conforme à ce qui est présenté dans l'annonce. L'accueil est sympa et la propriétaire est réactive en cas de besoin. Le Studio est agréable, très bien équipé et fonctionnel. (cependant j'étais seul et si je devais partir en famille je le trouverais certainement trop petit).Il y a un balcon avec une belle vue dégagée. Le village est à 10 mn à pied. Il y a pas mal de balades et randonnées à faire dans les environs et beaucoup d'activités sportives très variées. Je recommande cette destination et ce logement.
