Situated on Hatcher Mountain approximately 350 ft above the Wears Valley floor, the view from A Sight To See is truly stunning. Enjoy your morning coffee with a 180⁰ unobstructed view of Wears Valley & Cove Mountain from either of our two large wraparound decks. Spend the day hiking, biking, tubing, fishing, horseback riding, or zip-lining at nearby venues. Eat dinner and take in a show at nearby Pigeon Forge. Finish the evening watching the sun set over the western horizon with a cocktail in hand relaxing in the hot tub. Located just 10-15 minutes away from both the Smokey Mountain National Park and the epicenter of Pigeon Forge, A Sight To See is ideally situated for those who are seeking the serenity of the mountains AND easy access to all of the adventure, culinary, historical, and theatrical attractions Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. Come stay with us and experience for yourself why it’s called A Sight To See!

NOT PART OF A RESORT: 'A Sight To See' sits on over 1.5 acres of mountainside property with only one other cabin in proximity to us at approximately 40 yards to our west. Note that the other cabin to our west is called Cherie's Chalet, sleeps 8, and can be rented through VRBO #428364 for larger parties wishing to stay close together.

We spent a long weekend at a Sight To See. It was perfect for three couples. Very well equipped and comfortable with a great view. The owners did an excellent job with proactive communication in regards to concerns with inclement winter weather. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great week ! The property is beautiful and well kept and stocked. Plenty of room for the family. The downstairs was fun with the pool table. Had a few great games :) The main drive to the property was a little scary at first due to the incline and curves, but you have to remember to take the mountain roads slow. Had a walk by visit by momma bear and her 3 cubs one morning. Amazing views from the rocking chairs on the porch. Good location to amenities and attractions. Cindy , the owner, checked in on us and was available if needed. Would definitely recommend if you want a quite get a way and not in the heart of all the attractions

We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean with a great view. This home was close to various trails and the many activities Pigeon Forge had to offer. Our group ranged from 4-62 years old and everyone had something to enjoy. The host was easy to work with and she reached out to ensure we had no difficulties or needs. I'd highly recommend this property and if traveling to this area, I would stay again!

We loved this cabin. It was just close enough to everything yet far enough so as not to hear car noise. I loved hearing the sound of nature as I had my coffee on the deck each morning. Breathtaking view! House was clean and well stocked for preparing meals. The best house we’ve ever rented in the Smokies. Cindy was so sweet and easy going. We’ll be back!

Amazing Place to Stay
We booked this place a year ago for a family Christmas trip. We chose this place because we been to Sevierville before with our RV, the pictures and the space for 8. From the booking to the final email from Cindy everything was smooth. We had no issues finding the place and when we drove up, we were already blown away with the views. When we got into "A Sight to See" everything was perfect, the decorations and the views. We enjoyed sunrise with a cup of coffee or two. The pictures do not do this place justice. We had everything from clear skies to rainy weather and still is amazing view. Everything was perfect from the kitchen, the WiFi, the games, and the beds. We could not ask for a better place. I would highly recommend for a good place to explore the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. I would stay there again. Thanks again Cindy for all your support and the wonderful place to stay.

What a beautiful home!
My family just enjoyed a six night stay at this beautiful home! The home was immaculate and everything we needed was provided. The owners were even kind enough to check in and warn us about possible icy conditions. Our family is spread out across the country so the opportunity to get together and spend time at such a lovely home was an early Christmas gift to all of us. The views truly were spectacular! We vacationed here several years ago and fell in love with the cabin, the beautiful views, diversity of outdoor activities, wonderful restaurants, entertaining shows, and multitude of shopping venues. We are a family who loves to spend time together. We are residents of Alabama but our family ancestry and heritage hails from Tennessee. We feel like we're at home when staying at our cabin.

Why they chose this property

This house has one of the best views in Wears Valley sitting high atop Hatcher Mountain with 180 degrees unobstructed visibility. We also love the comfort & beauty of the house itself. Finally, the location of the home is ideal because of it's seclusion and proximity to Pigeon Forge, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and Gatlinburg. We never want to leave but we enjoy sharing our special mountain getaway with others. We want our guests to have the same experience as we do when we stay in the Smokey Mountains!

What makes this property unique

Our location high atop Hatcher Mountain makes this cabin unique because of the beautiful unobstructed views of Cove Mountain and Wears Valley. The comfortable rocking chairs on our large wrap-around deck allow you to sit back and relax with family and friends in complete privacy. The air is so clean and refreshing! We love grilling out on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, or listening to music while watching the sun set over the mountain skyline. The early morning yields spectacular views above the mist covered valley floor. It's truly a magical experience!
