Great stay for a few friends visiting the Pacific Northwest! There is a train track close by, and the train will blare its horn at any hour of the day, one time at 3:30am.But overall it was a great location, and would recommend
A great stay. The place is quiet even those it's part of multiple units. I think I only heard some murmuring from the other side of the wall in the bathroom the entire time. The place is clean. A bit outdated with cabinets and doors and even bed materials, but none-the-less, everything was accommodating and the communication was really good as well as the very well outlined expectations. Appreciated the coffee pot AND the kettle being out and ready to go and how easily accessible and easy to understand how all the appliances and switches work. Thanks for allowing me to use the house. I was very happy with my stay and would not hesitate to stay again.
Short stay while working and loved being able to walk each morning to coffee shop and each evening to dinner in Beaverton. House had all the amenities needed for our stay.
Property exactly as described. Very close to great food! Family of four with two overgrown boys. Got creative for comfortable TV watching but exactly what we expected from
The description. Easy check out. Would stay again.
Quaint 4 unit complex, clean and quiet. Hosts Jenny & Luke were both very attentive and reachable. Walking distance to many local restaurants and breweries. Also only 15- 20 minute drive to downtown Portland
We stayed for one night here after the Portland Zoo and before departing to Salem. The location was nice a quiet and we had no issues getting in, instructions were as listed. Echoing others, it was a little on the small side but for one night it worked out perfectly. The bedrooms get really toasty at night in the summer so pack light for the warmer months! Appreciated having Netflix and toys and books for the kids. Overall a good stay and would recommend.
Very welcoming safe stay in Beaverton great location!
This place is very easy to find but it's on a dead-end street and may look weird if you're not familiar with these kinds of city infrastructures.
The home is basically a bungalow style small 2 bedroom it's cute but if you will need more room than this small size home might not be the spot for you.
Parking is fair but outside although the area seems sorta safe I would not leave any valuable items inside the car.
Home rules seem fair and they have Netflix available.
Nice to haves for me would of been...
1. More hangers for clothes especially in the laundry area many people do not want to dry clothes and need to hang wet clothes.
2. Instructions about where to put the trash outside could of been listed.
3. Laundry washer is very dated and you need to play around with it to get it working.
There are two buildings with two units in each. You park in front of the first building. There’s a breezeway between the back door of the first building and the front door of the back building. It feels like a motel. The inside feels similar. The walls between the units are fairly thin. When you’re in the kitchen, you can hear the neighbors in their kitchen. We sleep with a noise machine so I don’t know if the neighbors were noisy when we were asleep but, we did hear the trains. If there’s a hot tub, it bust be in the backyard somewhere. I didn’t go back there to see.
Everything was fine. Nothing was fantastic, unique or spectacular. We couldn’t get in at first so I called and they reset the lock. We didn’t have any problems with it after that. Whatever cleaning products are used are incredibly strong. We opened all doors and windows for almost 2 hours to let the smell out. After 4 days of staying there, we could smell the cleaning products/laundry products on our items. It was nice to be able to park in the driveway. The bed in the back room was fairly comfortable, maybe slightly soft but, not uncomfortable.
We were in town celebrating and attending an event at Moda. This was a great place to land and rest our heads. Clean, well stocked, easy to access. Would stay here again!
Cute apartment in neighborhood with a lot of character
I stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks The apartment was really cute as was the kitchen with large fridge. It is kept up nicely. Other tenants were pretty quiet as and so was the immediate area. I loved taking my walks in the interesting neighborhood with cute homes,. Great Waffle shop on Lombard and 2nd. Nice bookstore up 2nd Ave. Great coffee shop Ava on Hall nearby. Loved the Saturday market and nice adjoining park to read during the week. But it is a good idea to bring a medium fan as apartment can get a bit stuffy. The airconditioner in the living room helped I closed the bedroom window at night so fan helped. The trains started sometimes at 5:30 am or so. Going to bed early was a good idea.
I have suffered with bad insomnia for a few years so it was a challenge for me. I had immediate response from Megan the Manager when I needed something. Enjoyed watching the San Diego news and a really good choice of news channels. And Netflix I never had any trouble with as I do at home.with the connection The convenience to Fred Meyer grocery shopping and Trader Joes was great. Also the Olive Garden. I moved to a small city in Oregon, so I really enjoyed the variety of restaurants nearby,
Very impressed with the cleanliness of the unit. Albeit, the kitchen is rather small and not really set up to cook many meals, if that’s a priority.
Unfortunately, we were there during an uncharacteristically hot weekend, and the portable air conditioner struggled to keep more than the front room cool.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely. Just not when it’s over 90F.
This is a smallish, sweet, neat, and comfortable place that looks much cuter inside than the photos make it look. The beds are quite comfortable (this is important to us). One bed is fairly soft but still supportive and the other is firm and our grown kids said it was good. It's really nice to have a kitchen with a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, full stove/oven with pots and pans and such, as well as a washing machine and dryer. Coffee, tea, creamer, and a few cooking basics are included. The manager is very helpful and available by text for any questions or help that is needed.
The outside is very bland and it is weirdly across the side street from a building that looks like some kind of business or utility building (it has no signs). So, not the kind of rental to hang out outside, except there is a small patch of lawn in the back. However, it's very quiet and in the other direction is a cute residential neighborhood. Very near the downtown area and casual restaurants which looked interesting but we had little time to explore.
We highly recommend this for a place to feel nice and take care of your needs while you are visiting the area.

My husband Luke and I own this property. We have 3 children, so we also have some help from a woman named Megan.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property for HomeAway because it is a great place to get to downtown from. There are all sorts of things within walking distance to (ie: restaurants, shops, bars, public transportation)
Downtown Beaverton has a lot going on right now with new places popping up all the time. Our place is on a quiet street close to all this, but far enough away to give you some quiet from the hustle and bustle.
